ਬਰੰਬੀਰ ਉਠਤ ॥
baranbeer utthat |The mighty warriors rise up.
ਤਨੰ ਤ੍ਰਾਨ ਫੁਟਤ ॥੨੨੯॥
tanan traan futtat |229|Where the warriors are fighting and the arrows are being discharged, there the warriors get up and their armours, being shattered are falling down.229.
ਰਣੰ ਬੀਰ ਗਿਰਤ ॥
ranan beer girat |Warriors fall (in the battlefield).
ਭਵੰ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਤਰਤ ॥
bhavan sindh tarat |Worlds float from the ocean.
ਨਭੰ ਹੂਰ ਫਿਰਤ ॥
nabhan hoor firat |Hoors are moving in the sky.
ਬਰੰ ਬੀਰ ਬਰਤ ॥੨੩੦॥
baran beer barat |230|The warriors falling down in the war-arena are ferrying across the ocean of fear and the heavenly damsels roaming in the sky, are wedding the warriors.230.
ਰਣ ਨਾਦ ਬਜਤ ॥
ran naad bajat |A deadly sound is playing in the desert
ਸੁਣਿ ਭੀਰ ਭਜਤ ॥
sun bheer bhajat |Hearing (which) the cowards are running away.
ਰਣ ਭੂਮਿ ਤਜਤ ॥
ran bhoom tajat |are leaving the wilderness.
ਮਨ ਮਾਝ ਲਜਤ ॥੨੩੧॥
man maajh lajat |231|Listening to the musical instruments of the battlefield, the cowards are running away and abandoning the battlefield, they are feeling shy.231.
ਫਿਰਿ ਫੇਰਿ ਲਰਤ ॥
fir fer larat |Then they return and fight.
ਰਣ ਜੁਝਿ ਮਰਤ ॥
ran jujh marat |They die fighting in the battle.
ਨਹਿ ਪਾਵ ਟਰਤ ॥
neh paav ttarat |Don't step back.
ਭਵ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਤਰਤ ॥੨੩੨॥
bhav sindh tarat |232|The warriors are again rotating and embracing death by fighting, they do not retrace even one step from the battlefield and are ferrying across the dreadful ocean of Samsara by dying.232.
ਰਣ ਰੰਗਿ ਮਚਤ ॥
ran rang machat |They are in the color of war.
ਚਤੁਰੰਗ ਫਟਤ ॥
chaturang fattat |Chaturangani Sena is dying.
ਸਰਬੰਗ ਲਟਤ ॥
sarabang lattat |It has been a struggle in all respects.
ਮਨਿ ਮਾਨ ਘਟਤ ॥੨੩੩॥
man maan ghattat |233|In the dreadful war, the fourfold army was scattered into fragments and because of the infliction of wounds on the bodies of the warriors, their honour and respect declined.233.
ਬਰ ਬੀਰ ਭਿਰਤ ॥
bar beer bhirat |The best warriors fight.
ਨਹੀ ਨੈਕੁ ਫਿਰਤ ॥
nahee naik firat |Just don't back down.
ਜਬ ਚਿਤ ਚਿਰਤ ॥
jab chit chirat |When (their) mind is irritated
ਉਠਿ ਸੈਨ ਘਿਰਤ ॥੨੩੪॥
autth sain ghirat |234|Without retracing their steps even slightly, the warriors are fighting and in anger, they are besieging the army.234.
ਗਿਰ ਭੂਮਿ ਪਰਤ ॥
gir bhoom parat |They are falling on the ground.
ਸੁਰ ਨਾਰਿ ਬਰਤ ॥
sur naar barat |Deva women are marrying (them).
