ਨ ਸ਼ਾਯਦ ਦਿਗ਼ਰ ਦੀਦ ਜੁਜ਼ ਯਕ ਕਰੀਮ ॥੭੮॥
n shaayad digar deed juz yak kareem |78|So that they could not be noticed by any body,(78)
ਬ ਮੁਲਕੇ ਹਬਸ਼ ਆਮਦ ਆਂ ਨੇਕ ਖ਼ੋਇ ॥
b mulake habash aamad aan nek khoe |They both had reached a congenial and amicable country,
ਯਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਹਜ਼ਾਦਹ ਦਿਗ਼ਰ ਖ਼ੂਬ ਰੋਇ ॥੭੯॥
yake shaahazaadah digar khoob roe |79|And one was the son of the king and other the daughter of the minister.(79)
ਦਰ ਆਂ ਜਾ ਬਿਆਮਦ ਕਿ ਬਿਨਸ਼ਸਤਹ ਸ਼ਾਹ ॥
dar aan jaa biaamad ki binashasatah shaah |Then they reached the place where a king was seated,
ਨਸ਼ਸਤੰਦ ਸ਼ਬ ਰੰਗ ਜ਼ਰਰੀਂ ਕੁਲਾਹ ॥੮੦॥
nashasatand shab rang zarareen kulaah |80|The king was as dark as night, and that black-ruler had a golden cap on.(80)
ਬ ਦੀਦੰਦ ਓਰਾ ਬੁਖ਼ਾਦੰਦ ਪੇਸ਼ ॥
b deedand oraa bukhaadand pesh |He saw them and called them nearer him,
ਬ ਗੁਫ਼ਤੰਦ ਕਿ ਏ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕੇਸ਼ ॥੮੧॥
b gufatand ki e sher aazaad kesh |81|And said, ‘Oh my lion hearted ones and the ones of independent will,(81)
ਜ਼ਿ ਮੁਲਕੇ ਕਦਾਮੀ ਤੁ ਬ ਮਨ ਬਗੋ ॥
zi mulake kadaamee tu b man bago |‘What country you belong to and what is your name?
ਚਿ ਨਾਮੇ ਕਿਰਾ ਤੋ ਬ ਈਂ ਤਰਫ਼ ਜੋ ॥੮੨॥
chi naame kiraa to b een taraf jo |82|‘And who are you trying to find in this part of the world?’(82)
ਵਗਰਨਹ ਮਰਾ ਤੋ ਨ ਗੋਈਂ ਚੁ ਰਾਸਤ ॥
vagaranah maraa to na goeen chu raasat |‘If you don’t tell me the truth,
ਕਿ ਮੁਰਦਨ ਸ਼ਿਤਾਬ ਅਸਤ ਏਜ਼ਦ ਗਵਾਹਸਤ ॥੮੩॥
ki muradan shitaab asat ezad gavaahasat |83|‘Then, God witness, your death is certain.’(83)
ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹਿ ਪਿਸਰੇ ਮਮਾਯੰਦਰਾ ॥
shahinashaeh pisare mamaayandaraa |‘I am the son of the ruler of the country of Mayindra,
ਕਿ ਦੁਖ਼ਤਰ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਅਸਤ ਈਂ ਨੌਜਵਾ ॥੮੪॥
ki dukhatar vazeer asat een nauajavaa |84|‘And she is the daughter of the Minister.’(84)
ਹਕੀਕਤ ਬ ਗੁਫ਼ਤਸ਼ ਜ਼ਿ ਪੇਸ਼ੀਨਹ ਹਾਲ ॥
hakeekat b gufatash zi pesheenah haal |He narrated all what had happened previously,
ਕਿ ਬਰਵੈ ਚੁ ਬੁਗਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ਚੰਦੀਂ ਜ਼ਵਾਲ ॥੮੫॥
ki baravai chu bugazashat chandeen zavaal |85|And explained all the afflictions they had passed through.(85)
ਬ ਮਿਹਰਸ਼ ਦਰਾਮਦ ਬਗ਼ੁਫ਼ਤ ਅਜ਼ ਜ਼ੁਬਾ ॥
b miharash daraamad bagufat az zubaa |He (King) was overwhelmed with their affection,
ਮਰਾ ਖ਼ਾਨਹ ਜਾਏ ਜ਼ਿ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਖ਼ਾਨਹ ਦਾ ॥੮੬॥
maraa khaanah jaae zi khud khaanah daa |86|And said, ‘Consider my house as your own.’(86)
ਵਜ਼ਾਰਤ ਖ਼ੁਦਸ਼ ਰਾ ਤੁਰਾ ਮੇ ਦਿਹਮ ॥
vazaarat khudash raa turaa me diham |‘I hand over to you my ministerial affairs,
ਕੁਲਾਹੇ ਮੁਮਾਲਕ ਤੁ ਬਰ ਸਰ ਨਿਹਮ ॥੮੭॥
kulaahe mumaalak tu bar sar niham |87|‘Along with that I will put several countries under your jurisdiction.’(87)
ਬ ਗੁਫ਼ਤੰਦ ਈਂ ਰਾ ਵ ਕਰਦੰਦ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ॥
b gufatand een raa v karadand vazeer |With this pronouncement he was appointed the Minister,
ਕਿ ਨਾਮੇ ਵਜਾ ਬੂਦ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਜ਼ਮੀਰ ॥੮੮॥
ki naame vajaa bood rauashan zameer |88|And given the title of Roshan Zameer, the enlightened consciousness.(88)
ਬ ਹਰ ਜਾ ਕਿ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ ਸ਼ਨਾਸਦ ਅਜ਼ੀਮ ॥
b har jaa ki dushaman shanaasad azeem |(After taking over,) Whenever he encountered an enemy,
ਦਵੀਦੰਦ ਬਰਵੈ ਬ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਕਰੀਮ ॥੮੯॥
daveedand baravai b hukame kareem |89|With God’s benevolence, he raided the adversary.(89)
ਕਿ ਖ਼ੂਨਸ਼ ਬਰੇਜ਼ੀਦ ਕਰਦੰਦ ਜ਼ੇਰ ॥
ki khoonash barezeed karadand zer |He would not hesitate to spill his own blood,
