ਕਿ ਹੁਸਨੁਲ ਜਮਾਲਸਤੁ ਰਾਜ਼ਕ ਰਹੀਮ ॥੭॥
ki husanul jamaalasat raazak raheem |7|He, the preserver, is Most Beautiful.7.
ਕਿ ਸਾਹਿਬਿ ਸ਼ਊਰਸਤੁ ਆਜਿਜ਼ ਨਿਵਾਜ਼ ॥
ki saahib shaoorasat aajiz nivaaz |The Lord is Omniscient, the Protector of the lowly
ਗ਼੍ਰੀਬੁਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੋ ਗ਼ਨੀਮੁਲ ਗੁਦਾਜ਼ ॥੮॥
greebul prasato ganeemul gudaaz |8|He, the Friend of the poor, is the Destroyer of the enemies.8.
ਸ਼ਰੀਅਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੋ ਫ਼ਜ਼ੀਲਤ ਮੁਆਬ ॥
shareeat prasato fazeelat muaab |He is the Source of all virtues, keeper of Dharma
ਹਕੀਕਤ ਸ਼ਨਾਸੋ ਨਬੀਉਲ ਕਿਤਾਬ ॥੯॥
hakeekat shanaaso nabeeaul kitaab |9|He knows everything and is the Source of all Scriptures.9.
ਕਿ ਦਾਨਸ਼ ਪਜ਼ੂਹਸਤ ਸਾਹਿਬਿ ਸ਼ਊਰ ॥
ki daanash pazoohasat saahib shaoor |He is the Perfect Being and Treasure of Wisdom
ਹਕੀਕਤ ਸ਼ਨਾਸਸਤੋ ਜ਼ਾਹਿਰ ਜ਼ਹੂਰ ॥੧੦॥
hakeekat shanaasasato zaahir zahoor |10|He, the All-Pervading Lord, is Omniscient.10.
ਸ਼ਨਾਸਿੰਦਏ ਇਲਮਿ ਆਲਮ ਖ਼ੁਦਾਇ ॥
shanaasinde ilam aalam khudaae |The Lord of the Universe, Knows all the sciences,
ਕੁਸ਼ਾਇੰਦਏ ਕਾਰਿ ਆਲਮ ਕੁਸ਼ਾਇ ॥੧੧॥
kushaaeinde kaar aalam kushaae |11|and breaks the knots of all complications.11.
ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਿੰਦਏ ਕਾਰਿ ਆਲਮ ਕਬੀਰ ॥
guzaarinde kaar aalam kabeer |He, the Supreme and Most High, Supervises the whole world
ਸ਼ਨਾਸਿੰਦਏ ਇਲਮਿ ਆਲਮ ਅਮੀਰ ॥੧੨॥
shanaasinde ilam aalam ameer |12|He, the Sovereign of the Universe, is the Source of all Learning.12.
ਮਰਾ ਏਅਤਬਾਰੇ ਬਰੀਂ ਕਸਮ ਨੇਸਤ ॥
maraa eatabaare bareen kasam nesat |I have faith in your oaths
ਕਿ ਏਜ਼ਦ ਗਵਾਹਸਤੁ ਯਜ਼ਦਾਂ ਯਕੇਸਤ ॥੧੩॥
ki ezad gavaahasat yazadaan yakesat |13|The Lord Himself is the Witness.13.
ਨ ਕਤਰਹ ਮਰਾ ਏਤਬਾਰੇ ਬਰੋਸਤ ॥
n katarah maraa etabaare barosat |I have not an iota of faith in such a person,
ਕਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਵ ਦੀਵਾਂ ਹਮਾ ਕਿਜ਼ਬ ਗੋਸ਼ਤ ॥੧੪॥
ki bakhashee v deevaan hamaa kizab goshat |14|whose officers have relinquished the path of Truth.14.
ਕਸੇ ਕਉਲਿ ਕੁਰਆਂ ਕੁਨਦ ਏਤਬਾਰ ॥
kase kaul kuraan kunad etabaar |Whosoever puts faith on the oath of Quran,
ਹਮਾ ਰੋਜ਼ਿ ਆਖ਼ਰ ਸ਼ਵਦ ਮਰਦ ਖ਼੍ਵਾਰ ॥੧੫॥
hamaa roz aakhar shavad marad khvaar |15|he is subjected to punishment on the final reckoning.15.
ਹੁਮਾ ਰਾ ਕਸੇ ਸਾਯਹ ਆਯਦ ਬਜ਼ੇਰ ॥
humaa raa kase saayah aayad bazer |He, who comes under the shade of the legendary Huma,
ਬਰੋ ਦਸਤ ਦਾਰਦ ਨ ਜ਼ਾਗ਼ੋ ਦਲੇਰ ॥੧੬॥
baro dasat daarad na zaago daler |16|a very brave crow cannot harm him.16.
ਕਸੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਤ ਉਫ਼ਤਦ ਪਸੇ ਸ਼ੇਰਿ ਨਰ ॥
kase pushat ufatad pase sher nar |He, who takes refuge of the fierce tiger
ਨ ਗੀਰਦ ਬੁਜ਼ੋ ਮੇਸ਼ੋ ਆਹੂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ॥੧੭॥
n geerad buzo mesho aahoo guzar |17|The goat, sheep and deer do not go near him.17.
ਕਸਮ ਮੁਸਹਫ਼ੇ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਅਗਰ ਈਂ ਖ਼ੁਰਮ ॥
kasam musahafe khud agar een khuram |Even if I had taken an oath on Quarn in concealment,
ਨ ਫ਼ੌਜੇ ਅਜ਼ੀਂ ਜ਼ੇਰਿ ਸੁਮ ਅਫ਼ਗਨਮ ॥੧੮॥
n fauaje azeen zer sum afaganam |18|I would not have budhed and inch from my place.18.
ਗਰਸਨਹ ਚਿ ਕਾਰਿ ਕੁਨਦ ਚਿਹਲ ਨਰ ॥
garasanah chi kaar kunad chihal nar |How could forty famished persons fight in the battlefield,
ਕਿ ਦਹ ਲਖ ਬਰਾਯਦ ਬਰੋ ਬੇਖ਼ਬਰ ॥੧੯॥
ki dah lakh baraayad baro bekhabar |19|on whom ten lakh soldiers made a sudden attack.19.
ਕਿ ਪੈਮਾਂਸ਼ਿਕਨ ਬੇਦਰੰਗ ਆਮਦੰਦ ॥
ki paimaanshikan bedarang aamadand |Your army breaking the oath and in great haste
ਮਯਾਂ ਤੇਗ਼ੁ ਤੀਰੋ ਤੁਫ਼ੰਗ ਆਮਦੰਦ ॥੨੦॥
mayaan teg teero tufang aamadand |20|plunged in the battlefield with arrows and guns.20.
ਬ ਲਾਚਾਰਗੀ ਦਰਮਯਾਂ ਆਮਦੰਦ ॥
b laachaaragee daramayaan aamadand |For this reason, I had to intervene
ਬ ਤਦਬੀਰਿ ਤੀਰੋ ਤੁਫ਼ੰਗ ਆਮਦੰਦ ॥੨੧॥
b tadabeer teero tufang aamadand |21|and had to come fully armed.21.
ਚੁਂ ਕਾਰ ਅਜ਼ ਹਮਾ ਹੀਲਤੇ ਦਰ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ॥
chun kaar az hamaa heelate dar guzashat |When all other methods fail,
ਹਲਾਲ ਅਸਤ ਬੁਰਦਨ ਬ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੀਰ ਦਸਤ ॥੨੨॥
halaal asat buradan b shamasheer dasat |22|it is proper to hold the sword in hand.22.
ਚਿ ਕਸਮਿ ਕੁਰਆ ਮਨ ਕੁਨਮ ਏਤਬਾਰ ॥
chi kasam kuraa man kunam etabaar |I have no faith in your oaths on the Quarn,
ਵਗਰਨਹ ਤੁ ਗੋਈ ਮਨ ਈਂ ਰਹ ਚਿ ਕਾਰ ॥੨੩॥
vagaranah tu goee man een rah chi kaar |23|otherwise I had nothing to do with this battle.23.
ਨ ਦਾਨਮ ਕਿ ਈਂ ਮਰਦਿ ਰੋਬਾਹਿ ਪੇਚ ॥
n daanam ki een marad robaeh pech |I do not know that your officers are deceitful,
ਵਗਰ ਹਰਗਿਜ਼ੀਂ ਰਾਹ ਨਿਯਾਰਦ ਬਹੇਚ ॥੨੪॥
vagar haragizeen raah niyaarad bahech |24|otherwise I would not have followed this path.24.
ਹਰਾਂ ਕਸ ਕਿ ਕਉਲੇ ਕੁਰਾਂ ਆਯਦਸ਼ ॥
haraan kas ki kaule kuraan aayadash |It is not appropriated to imprison and kill those,
ਨਜ਼ੋ ਬਸਤਨੋ ਕੁਸ਼ਤਨੋ ਆਯਦਸ਼ ॥੨੫॥
nazo basatano kushatano aayadash |25|who put faith on the oaths of Quarn.25.
ਬਰੰਗੇ ਮਗਸ ਸਯਾਹਪੋਸ਼ ਆਮਦੰਦ ॥
barange magas sayaahaposh aamadand |The soldiers of your army, clad in black uniforms,
ਬ ਯਕ ਬਾਰਗੀ ਦਰ ਖ਼ਰੋਸ਼ ਆਮਦੰਦ ॥੨੬॥
b yak baaragee dar kharosh aamadand |26|rushed like flies on my men.26.
ਹਰਾਂ ਕਸ ਜ਼ਿ ਦੀਵਾਰ ਆਮਦ ਬਿਰੂੰ ॥
haraan kas zi deevaar aamad biroon |Whosoever from them came near the wall of the fort,
ਬਖ਼ੁਰਦਨ ਯਕੇ ਤੀਰ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਗ਼ਰਕਿ ਖ਼ੂੰ ॥੨੭॥
bakhuradan yake teer shud garak khoon |27|with one arrow he wos drenched in his won blood.27.
ਕਿ ਬੇਰੂੰ ਨਿਆਮਦ ਕਸੇ ਜ਼ਾ ਦੀਵਾਰ ॥
ki beroon niaamad kase zaa deevaar |None dared to come there near the wall
ਨ ਖ਼ੁਰਦੰਦ ਤੀਰੋ ਨ ਗ਼ਸ਼ਤੰਦ ਖ਼੍ਵਾਰ ॥੨੮॥
n khuradand teero na gashatand khvaar |28|None faced then the arrows and destruction.28.
ਚੁ ਦੀਦਮ ਕਿ ਨਾਹਰ ਬਿਆਮਦ ਬ ਜੰਗ ॥
chu deedam ki naahar biaamad b jang |When I saw Nahar Khan in the battlefield,
ਚਸ਼ੀਦਹ ਯਕੇ ਤੀਰ ਮਨ ਬੇਦਰੰਗ ॥੨੯॥
chasheedah yake teer man bedarang |29|he was greeted with one of my arrows.29.
ਹਮਾਖ਼ਰ ਗੁਰੇਜ਼ੰਦ ਬਜਾਏ ਮਸਾਫ਼ ॥
hamaakhar gurezand bajaae masaaf |All those boasters who came near the wall,
ਬਸੇ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਗਰਦੰਦ ਬੇਰੂੰ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਫ਼ ॥੩੦॥
base khaan garadand beroon guzaaf |30|they were dispatched in no time.30.
ਕਿ ਅਫ਼ਗ਼ਾਨਿ ਦੀਗਰ ਬਿਆਮਦ ਬ ਜੰਗ ॥
