ਜਿਹ ਬਿਲੋਕਿ ਕੰਦ੍ਰਪ ਦ੍ਰਪ ਕਹ ਖੋਇ ਹੈ ॥
jih bilok kandrap drap kah khoe hai |Seeing her, Kam Dev's pride was destroyed.
ਹੋ ਜਿਹ ਸਮ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਭਯੋ ਨ ਆਗੇ ਹੋਇ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ho jih sam sundar bhayo na aage hoe hai |3|A beautiful person like him has not come forward and will not come forward. 3.
ਰਾਜ ਸੁਤਾ ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਤਿਹ ਰੂਪ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥

ਹੋ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਾਜਨ ਕੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਅਗਨਿ ਭੀਤਰ ਜਰੌ ॥੪॥
ho bin saajan ke mile agan bheetar jarau |4|If you don't find friends, you will burn in the fire. 4.
ਹਿਤੂ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਸਮਝਿਕ ਲਈ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
hitoo sahacharee samajhik lee bulaae kai |Called a friend as a favor.
ਕਹਿ ਤਿਹ ਭੇਦ ਕੁਅਰ ਤਨ ਦਈ ਪਠਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
keh tih bhed kuar tan dee patthaae kai |Explained the whole secret to him and sent him to Kunwar.
ਜੁ ਮੈ ਤੁਮੈ ਕਛੁ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਸੁ ਮੀਤਹਿ ਆਖਿਯੋ ॥
ju mai tumai kachh kahiyo su meeteh aakhiyo |(He explained that) what I have told you, tell that friend
ਹੋ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਰਖਿਯਹੁ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਭਾਖਿਯੋ ॥੫॥
ho chit meh rakhiyahu bhed na kaahoo bhaakhiyo |5|And keep this secret in mind, don't tell anyone.5.

ਸਖੀ ਕੁਅਰ ਪਹਿ ਦਈ ਪਠਾਈ ॥
sakhee kuar peh dee patthaaee |Sent Sakhi to Kunwar.
ਜਿਹ ਤਿਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਬੋਧਿ ਲ੍ਯਾਈ ॥
jih tih bhaat prabodh layaaee |(He) brought it as explained (to him).
ਰਾਜ ਸੁਤਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਆਨ ਮਿਲਾਯੋ ॥
raaj suteh tin aan milaayo |Raj Kumar came and met him.
ਸਾਜਨ ਮਿਲਤ ਸਜਨਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੬॥
saajan milat sajan sukh paayo |6|Sajani got happiness by meeting Sajan. 6.
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਕਿਯ ਭੋਗਾ ॥
bhaat bhaat setee kiy bhogaa |(Both of them) played various sports.
ਮਿਟ ਗਯੋ ਸਕਲ ਦੁਹਨ ਕੋ ਸੋਗਾ ॥
mitt gayo sakal duhan ko sogaa |All the sorrow of both (minds) was erased.
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਨ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਲਾਸਾ ॥
bhaat bhaat tan karai bilaasaa |(The woman) indulged him in many ways
ਨਿਜ ਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਤਜਿ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਾ ॥੭॥
nij pat ko taj kar kai traasaa |7|By abandoning the fear of her husband. 7.
ਚਤੁਰ ਚਤੁਰਿਯਾ ਦੋਈ ਕਲੋਲਹਿ ॥
chatur chaturiyaa doee kaloleh |Both women and men started performing kalolas
ਮਿਲਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਬੈਨ ਮਧੁਰਿ ਧੁਨ ਬੋਲਹਿ ॥
mil mil bain madhur dhun boleh |And together they began to speak words in a sweet voice.
ਭਾਤਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਕੀ ਕੈਫ ਮੰਗਾਵੈਂ ॥
bhaat anik kee kaif mangaavain |By ordering various types of alcohol
ਏਕ ਪਲੰਘ ਬੈਠਿ ਪਰ ਚੜਾਵੈਂ ॥੮॥
ek palangh baitth par charraavain |8|He sat on a bed and started drinking.8.
ਆਸਨ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਲੇਹੀ ॥
aasan bhaat bhaat ke lehee |Both of them started doing asanas side by side
ਆਲਿੰਗ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਦੋਈ ਦੇਹੀ ॥
aaling chunban doee dehee |And start giving or receiving hugs and kisses.
ਰਸਿ ਰਸਿ ਕਸਿ ਨਰ ਕੇਲ ਕਮਾਇ ॥
ras ras kas nar kel kamaae |Taking the juice, the hero began to have sexual intercourse
ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਤਰ ਜਾਇ ॥੯॥

ਦੋਇ ਤਰੁਨ ਬਿਜਿਯਾ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਖਾਈ ॥

ਚਾਰਿ ਟਾਕ ਅਹਿਫੇਨ ਚੜਾਈ ॥
chaar ttaak ahifen charraaee |And four taanq (special: one taanq weighing four masas) of opium.
ਰਸਿ ਰਸਿ ਕਰਿ ਕਸਿ ਕਸਿ ਰਤਿ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
ras ras kar kas kas rat kiyo |(They) were having fun and played sports
ਚੋਰਿ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਕੋ ਚਿਤ ਲਿਯੋ ॥੧੦॥
chor chanchalaa ko chit liyo |10|And (the hero) stole the image of the woman. 10.
ਰਸਿਗੇ ਦੋਊ ਨ ਛੋਰਾ ਜਾਇ ॥
rasige doaoo na chhoraa jaae |(Both) became so engrossed that (each other) could not be separated.
ਕਹੀ ਬਾਤ ਇਹ ਘਾਤ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
kahee baat ih ghaat banaae |Seeing the opportunity (the woman) said this thing,
ਏਕ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਹਮ ਤੇ ਪਿਯ ਲੀਜੈ ॥
ek mantr ham te piy leejai |Oh dear! Take a mantra from me
ਜਲ ਕੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਪਿਯਾਨਾ ਕੀਜੈ ॥੧੧॥
jal ke bikhai piyaanaa keejai |11|And go into the water. 11.
ਜਬ ਲਗੁ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁਚਾਰ ਤੈ ਕਰ ਹੈ ॥
jab lag mantruchaar tai kar hai |As long as you keep chanting the mantra,
ਤਬ ਲਗਿ ਤੈ ਜਲ ਬੀਚ ਨ ਮਰ ਹੈ ॥
tab lag tai jal beech na mar hai |Until then you will not die in the water.
ਤੁਮਰੇ ਜਲ ਐ ਹੈ ਨ ਨੇਰੇ ॥
tumare jal aai hai na nere |Water will not come near you
ਚਾਰਿ ਓਰ ਰਹਿ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਿ ਘੇਰੇ ॥੧੨॥
chaar or reh hai tuhi ghere |12|And he will surround you from all four sides. 12.
ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਤਬ ਲਿਯੋ ॥
mantr mitr taa te tab liyo |Then Mitra took the mantra from him
ਗੰਗਾ ਬੀਚ ਪਯਾਨਾ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
gangaa beech payaanaa kiyo |and went into the Ganges.
ਜਲ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਰਹਾ ॥
jal chahoon or tavan ke rahaa |burning on his four sides,
ਆਨਿ ਪਾਨ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਨਹਿ ਗਹਾ ॥੧੩॥
aan paan taa ke neh gahaa |13|But don't touch his (body) with water. 13.
ਇਹ ਛਲ ਜਲ ਮਹਿ ਮੀਤ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥
eih chhal jal meh meet patthaayo |With this trick (the woman) sent Mitra into the water
ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਤਨ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
maat pitaa tan bachan sunaayo |And said to the parents,
ਹੋ ਪਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਸੁਯੰਬਰ ਕਰਿ ਹੌ ॥
ho pit praat suyanbar kar hau |Oh father! I will do sambar in the morning
ਪਰਮ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਕੋਈ ਬਰਿ ਹੌ ॥੧੪॥
param pavitr purakh koee bar hau |14|And (someone) like the supreme 'holy' Purusha. 14.
ਕਹੇ ਚਲੋ ਤੁਮ ਤਾਤ ਹਮਾਰੇ ॥
kahe chalo tum taat hamaare |(Heroine) started saying, O my father!
