ਕਿੰਕਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਥਮੋਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਅੰਤ ਉਚਾਰਿ ॥

kinkaanee prathamochar kai rip pad ant uchaar |

First pronounce the word 'kinkani', then add the word 'ripu' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਸੁ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੪੬੬॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu sukab su dhaar |466|

Saying “Kinkani” primarily and then uttering the word “Ripu”, the names of Tupak are formed.466.

ਅਸੁਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ਅੰਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਅਰਿ ਦੀਨ ॥

asunee aad uchaareeai ant sabad ar deen |

First say 'asuni' (cavalry) and add the word 'ari' at the end.

ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ॥੪੬੭॥

satru tupak ke naam hai leejahu samajh prabeen |467|

Saying the word “Ashivani” in the beginning and then adding the word “Ari” at the end, O skilful people! the names of Tupak may be comprehended.467.

ਸੁਆਸਨਿ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਕੈ ਦੀਨ ॥

suaasan aad bakhaaneeai rip ar pad kai deen |

Saying first the word 'Suasani' (cavalry) (then) pronounce the word 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਸੁਘਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਚੀਨ ॥੪੬੮॥

naam tupak ke hot hai sughar leejeeahu cheen |468|

Saying the word “Shavani” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are recognized.468.

ਆਧਿਨਿ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

aadhin aad uchaar kai rip pad ant bakhaan |

By saying the word 'Adhini' (king's army) first, add the word 'Ripu' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਤਿਵਾਨ ॥੪੬੯॥

Saying the word “Aadhani” in the beginning and adding the words “Ripu Ari”, O wise men! the names of tupak are formed.469.

ਪ੍ਰਭੁਣੀ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

Pronounce the word 'Prabhuni' (Raj Sena) first, (then) put the word 'Ripu' at the end.

Saying the word “Prabhuni” in the beginning and then adding the word “Ripu” at the end, O wise men! the names of Tupak are formed.470.

ਆਦਿ ਭੂਪਣੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

aad bhoopanee sabad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

By saying the word 'Bhupani' (Raj Sena) at the beginning, pronounce 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਸੁ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੪੭੧॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu sukab su dhaar |471|

Uttering the word “Bhoopani” in the beginning and the adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are know correctly.471.

ਆਦਿ ਈਸਣੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਕੇ ਦੀਨ ॥

aad eesanee sabad keh rip ar pad ke deen |

First saying the word 'Isani' (Army of the Lord) (then) add the word 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਸੁਘਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਚੀਨ ॥੪੭੨॥

Uttering the word “Ishani” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari”, the names of Tupak are formed.472.

ਆਦਿ ਸੰਉਡਣੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

aad snauddanee sabad keh rip ar bahur uchaar |

First by saying the word 'Saundani' (Elephant Army), then pronounce 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥੪੭੩॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu chatur bichaar |473|

Uttering the word “Saudani” in the beginning and then adding “ripu Ari”, O wise people! the names of Tupak come to the fore.473.

ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਸਤ੍ਰੁਣੀ ਉਚਰੀਐ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

pratham satrunee uchareeai rip ar ant uchaar |

First saying 'Satruni' (enemy army) (then) say 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥੪੭੪॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu chatur bichaar |474|

Uttering the word “Shatruni” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari”, the names of Tupak are formed.474.

ਸਕਲ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਨੀ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁਹਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

sakal chhatr ke naam lai nee keh ripuhi bakhaan |

Take all the names of chhatra, then say 'ni' and add the term 'ripu'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੪੭੫॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh sujaan |475|

Naming all the canopies and uttering the word “Nee” and then adding the word “Ripuhi”, the names of Tupak continue to be evolved.475.

ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਛਤ੍ਰਨੀ ਸਬਦ ਉਚਰਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

pratham chhatranee sabad uchar rip ar ant bakhaan |

First say the word 'Chhatrani' (Umbrella Army) and add the word 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਤਿਵਾਨ ॥੪੭੬॥

naam tupak ke hot hai cheen lehu mativaan |476|

Saying the word “Chhatrani” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the wise men recognize the names of Tupak.476.

ਆਤਪਤ੍ਰਣੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

aatapatranee aad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

First recite the pada 'Aatpatrani' (Army of Umbrella King) and finally chant 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿ ॥੪੭੭॥

naam tupak ke hot hai cheen chatur niradhaar |477|

Uttering the word “Patrani” in the beginning and then saying “Ripuni”, O wise men! recognize the names of Tupak.477.

ਆਦਿ ਪਤਾਕਨਿ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਕੈ ਦੀਨ ॥

aad pataakan sabad keh rip ar pad kai deen |

First saying 'Patakani' (flag-bearing army) (then) add the word 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ॥੪੭੮॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh prabeen |478|

Saying the word “Patakani” in the beginning and then adding “ripu Ari”, O skilful persons! understand the names of Tupak.478.

ਛਿਤਪਤਾਢਿ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੋਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

chhitapataadt prithamochar kai rip ar ant uchaar |

Pronounce the word 'Chhitpatadhi' (army under the king) first (then) pronounce the word 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥੪੭੯॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu sukab bichaar |479|

Saying firstly the word “Kshitipati” and then adding “ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed, which O good poets! You may consider.479.

ਰਉਦਨਿ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

raudan aad uchaareeai rip ar ant bakhaan |

First saying the word 'Raudni' (archery army) (then) recite 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੪੮੦॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu chatur pachhaan |480|

Uttering the word “Ravdan” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed, which O wise men! You may recognize.480.

ਸਸਤ੍ਰਨਿ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਕੈ ਦੀਨ ॥

sasatran aad bakhaan kai rip ar pad kai deen |

First say 'sastrani' (armored army) and (later) add the word 'ripu ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਸੁਘਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਚੀਨ ॥੪੮੧॥

Saying the word “Shastari” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari”, the names of Tupak are formed.481.

ਸਬਦ ਸਿੰਧੁਰਣਿ ਉਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਕੈ ਦੀਨ ॥

sabad sindhuran uchar kai rip ar pad kai deen |

First saying the word 'sindhurani' (elephant army) add (then) 'ripu ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ॥੪੮੨॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh prabeen |482|

Saying the word “Dhatruni” in the beginning and then adding “ripu Ari”, O skilful persons! the names of Tupak are formed.482.

ਆਦਿ ਸੁਭਟਨੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

aad subhattanee sabad keh rip ar ant bakhaan |

Saying the word 'subhatni' (army) first, then say the word 'ripu ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੪੮੩॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh sujaan |483|

Saying the word “Subhatni” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari”, at the end, the wise men may comprehend the names of Tupak.483.

ਰਥਿਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਮਥਨੀ ਮਥਨ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

rathinee aad uchaar kai mathanee mathan bakhaan |

First pronounce the word 'Rathini' (an army of chariots) and say (then) 'Mathni Mathan'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੪੮੪॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh sujaan |484|

Saying the word “Rathni” in the beginning and then uttering “Mathni-mathan”, the names of Tupak are formed.484.

ਸਬਦ ਸ੍ਰਯੰਦਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

sabad srayandanee aad keh rip ar bahur bakhaan |

First say the word 'Syandani' and then say 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੪੮੫॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh sujaan |485|

Saying the word “Sindhuni” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari”, the names of Tupak are formed.485.

ਆਦਿ ਸਕਟਨੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

aad sakattanee sabad keh rip ar ant bakhaan |

First say the word 'Skatni' (hard army) and finally say 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਸਮਝ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਤਿਵਾਨ ॥੪੮੬॥

naam tupak ke hot hai samajh lehu mativaan |486|

Saying the word “Shakatni” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari”, O wise people! understand the names of Tupak.486.

ਆਦਿ ਦੁਸਟਨੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

Say the word 'Dustani' first. Then add the word 'Ripu Ari'.
