ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਦੂਤੀ ਪਠੈ ਤਾਹਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠਾਇਯੋ ॥
dootee patthai taeh grih bol patthaaeiyo |He sent a messenger and called him home.
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਬਹੁ ਭਾਤਿ ਕਮਾਇਯੋ ॥
kaam bhog taa sau bahu bhaat kamaaeiyo |Had many kinds of sexual pleasures with him.
ਸੋਇ ਸਾਹ ਜਬ ਜਾਇ ਤੇ ਤਾਹਿ ਬੁਲਾਵਈ ॥
soe saah jab jaae te taeh bulaavee |When Shah would sleep, she would call him
ਹੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਭਏ ਰਸ ਰੀਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਉਪਜਾਵਈ ॥੫॥
ho taeh bhe ras reet preet upajaavee |5|And she used to express her love by playing with him happily. 5.

ਤਰੁਨੀ ਉਠਤ ਸਾਹ ਹੂ ਜਾਗਿਯੋ ॥

ਪੂਛਨ ਤਾਹਿ ਆਪੁ ਯੌ ਲਾਗਿਯੋ ॥
poochhan taeh aap yau laagiyo |And he started asking himself.
ਜਾਤ ਹੁਤੀ ਕਹ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਬਤਾਵਹੁ ॥
jaat hutee kah tarun bataavahu |O woman! Ten, where were you going?
ਹਮਰੋ ਚਿਤ ਕੋ ਭਰਮੁ ਮਿਟਾਵਹੁ ॥੬॥
hamaro chit ko bharam mittaavahu |6|(And thus) remove the illusion of my mind. 6.
ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸਾਹ ਮੈ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰੋਂ ॥
sunahu saah mai bachan uchaaron |O Shah! Hear the words that I speak,
ਤੁਮਰੇ ਚਿਤ ਕੋ ਭਰਮ ਉਤਾਰੋਂ ॥
tumare chit ko bharam utaaron |(I) remove the illusion of your mind?
ਮੋਹੂ ਟੂਟਿ ਕੈਫ ਜਬ ਗਈ ॥
mohoo ttoott kaif jab gee |When my practice was broken (meaning gone away)
ਲੇਤ ਤਬੈ ਪਸਵਾਰਨ ਭਈ ॥੭॥
let tabai pasavaaran bhee |7|So I started pulsating.7.

ਐਸ ਨਿਸਾ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਹ ਕੀ ਦੀਨੋ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸਵਾਇ ॥
aais nisaa kar saah kee deeno bahur savaae |In this way, after appeasing ('nisa') the Shah, he was then put to sleep
ਤੁਰਤ ਮੀਤ ਪੈ ਚਲਿ ਗਈ ਯਾਰ ਭਜੀ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥੮॥

ਦੇਸ ਬਾਵਨੀ ਕੇ ਰਹੈ ਮਾਲਵ ਨਾਮ ਗਵਾਰ ॥
des baavanee ke rahai maalav naam gavaar |There lived a villager named Malav in Bawani country.
ਮੈਨ ਕਲਾ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੧॥
main kalaa taa kee tarun jaa ko roop apaar |1|His feminine art was very beautiful. 1.
ਦੀਰਘ ਦੇਹ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਰਹੈ ਪੁਸਟ ਅੰਗ ਸਭ ਠੌਰ ॥
deeragh deh taa ko rahai pusatt ang sabh tthauar |His body was very exposed and all the limbs were very strong.
ਦਿਰਘ ਪੁਸਟ ਤਾ ਸਮ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਨ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਔਰ ॥੨॥
diragh pusatt taa sam tarun dutiy na jag mai aauar |2|There was no other (strong) woman in the world with a tall and broad body like her. 2.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਫੌਜਦਾਰ ਇਕ ਗਾਉ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਆਇਯੋ ॥
fauajadaar ik gaau tavan ke aaeiyo |A soldier came to their village.
ਪ੍ਯਾਸ ਘਾਮ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਤਵਨ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਇਯੋ ॥
payaas ghaam te adhik tavan dukh paaeiyo |He suffered greatly from thirst and heat.
ਪਾਨਿ ਚਹਿਯੋ ਜਟਿਯਾ ਤਿਨ ਦਯੋ ਉਠਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
paan chahiyo jattiyaa tin dayo utthaae kai |(He) wanted to drink water (and next) Jati raised it and gave it to him.
ਹੋ ਨਿਰਖ ਤਵਨਿ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਉਰਝਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੩॥
ho nirakh tavan ko roop rahiyo urajhaae kai |3|Seeing her (woman's) form, (the soldier) became fascinated. 3.
ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਕਿਯਾ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਜੁ ਯਾ ਕੋ ਪਾਇਯੈ ॥
chit mai kiyaa bichaar ju yaa ko paaeiyai |(He) thought in his mind
ਏਕ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਯਾ ਤੈ ਭਜਿ ਕੈ ਉਪਜਾਇਯੈ ॥
ek putr yaa tai bhaj kai upajaaeiyai |That we should obtain it (somehow) and beget a son by indulging in it.
ਅਧਿਕ ਬਲੀ ਸੋ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਜਗ ਜਾਨਿਯੈ ॥
adhik balee so hvai hai sabh jag jaaniyai |He will be a great sacrifice and will be known throughout the world.
ਹੋ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਡੀਲ ਸਮਾਨ ਨ ਔਰ ਬਖਾਨਿਯੈ ॥੪॥
ho taa ke ddeel samaan na aauar bakhaaniyai |4|No one else will be described as tall and tall as him. 4.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਫੌਜਦਾਰ ਇਕ ਸਹਿਚਰੀ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਦਈ ਪਠਾਇ ॥
fauajadaar ik sahicharee taa ke dee patthaae |Faujdar explained the whole secret (by calling) a maidservant
ਨਿਸਾ ਕਰੀ ਧਨੁ ਦੇ ਘਨੋ ਭੇਦ ਸਕਲ ਸਮੁਝਾਇ ॥੫॥
nisaa karee dhan de ghano bhed sakal samujhaae |5|And he consoled him by giving a lot of money and sent (to him).5.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਸੁਨਤ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਬਚਨ ਤਹਾ ਕੌ ਜਾਤ ਭੀ ॥
sunat sahacharee bachan tahaa kau jaat bhee |Hearing his words, the maid went there.
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਸਮੁਝਾਤ ਭੀ ॥
bhaat bhaat so taeh tarun samujhaat bhee |He started to explain to that lady one by one.
ਪਲਟਿ ਪਿਯਹਿ ਇਹ ਭਾਤ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਸਮਝਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
palatt piyeh ih bhaat kahiyo samajhaae kai |After returning from there, he explained to the soldier and started saying
ਹੋ ਮਿਲਿ ਹੈ ਤੁਮ ਸੌ ਆਜੁ ਸੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥੬॥
ho mil hai tum sau aaj su raatee aae kai |6|That she will come and meet you tonight. 6.
ਫੌਜਦਾਰ ਪਰ ਨਾਰਿ ਵਹੈ ਅਟਕਤ ਭਈ ॥
fauajadaar par naar vahai attakat bhee |That woman also fell in love with the soldier
ਅਰਧ ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿ ਤਿਹ ਤੀਰ ਮਿਲਨ ਕੇ ਹਿਤ ਗਈ ॥
aradh raatr tih teer milan ke hit gee |And went to meet him at midnight.
ਫੂਲ ਪਾਨ ਮਦ ਪਾਨ ਸੇਜ ਸੁਭ ਕੌ ਰਚਿਯੋ ॥
fool paan mad paan sej subh kau rachiyo |Doda, paan, drank liquor and decorated the beautiful sage.
ਹੋ ਭਜੀ ਸਿਗਰ ਨਿਸੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਐਸੀ ਮਚਿਯੋ ॥੭॥
ho bhajee sigar nis triyaa surat aaisee machiyo |7|(That) sexual intercourse with the woman was such that the sexual intercourse continued throughout the night. 7.
ਨਿਸੁ ਸਿਗਰੀ ਕੋ ਕੇਲ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਪਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
nis sigaree ko kel tarun drirr paae kai |By getting (a man) who plays well all night
ਬਿਨੁ ਦਾਮਨ ਕੇ ਦਏ ਰਹੀ ਉਰਝਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
bin daaman ke de rahee urajhaae kai |(That) woman was sold without a price.
ਕਹਿਯੋ ਬਿਹਸਿ ਪਿਯ ਮੈ ਇਕ ਚਰਿਤ ਦਿਖਾਇ ਹੌ ॥
kahiyo bihas piy mai ik charit dikhaae hau |(He) laughed and said to Priya that I will show a character
ਹੋ ਨਿਜੁ ਨਾਇਕ ਕੌ ਮਾਰਿ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ਆਇ ਹੌ ॥੮॥
ho nij naaeik kau maar tihaare aae hau |8|And I will kill my husband and come to you.8.
