ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਕਹੀ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਤੁਮ ਆਪਨੇ ਆਪਨੇ ਦੇਸ ਸਿਧਾਰੋ ॥੨੩੨੯॥
sree brijanaath kahee tih ko tum aapane aapane des sidhaaro |2329|“You may return to your own countries and take cognizance of your kingdom, society, wealth and homes.”2329.
ਬੰਧਨ ਛੋਰਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹਰਿ ਯੌ ਸਭ ਭੂਪਨ ਤਉ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰੀ ॥
bandhan chhor kahiyo har yau sabh bhoopan tau ih bhaat uchaaree |After freeing them from the bondage, when Krishna said this, then all the king replied,
ਰਾਜ ਸਮਾਜ ਕਛੂ ਨਹੀ ਤੇਰੋ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਹੈ ਸੁ ਇਹੈ ਜੀਅ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
raaj samaaj kachhoo nahee tero hee dhiaan lahai su ihai jeea dhaaree |“We have no royal and social connections now we only remember you.”
ਰਾਜ ਕਰੋ ਰੁ ਇਹੈ ਲਹਿ ਹੋ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ॥
raaj karo ru ihai leh ho kab sayaam kahiyo ih bhaat muraaree |Krishna said, “I shall make all of you kings here
ਸੋ ਉਨ ਮਾਨ ਕਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਇਉ ਸੁ ਸਦਾ ਰਹੀਯੋ ਸੁਧਿ ਲੇਤ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥੨੩੩੦॥
so un maan kahee har iau su sadaa raheeyo sudh let hamaaree |2330|” Agreeing to the words of Krishna, the kings requested him, “O Lord! kindly keep us under your care.”2330.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਾਵਤਾਰੇ ਜਰਾਸੰਧਿ ਕੋ ਬਧ ਕਰਿ ਸਭ ਭੂਪਨਿ ਕੋ ਛੁਰਾਇ ਦਿਲੀ ਮੋ ਆਵਤ ਭਏ ਧਿਆਇ ਸਮਾਪਤੰ ॥
eit sree bachitr naattak granthe krisanaavataare jaraasandh ko badh kar sabh bhoopan ko chhuraae dilee mo aavat bhe dhiaae samaapatan |End of the description of reaching Delhi after killing Jarasandh and getting all the kings released in Krishnavatara in Bachittar Natak.
ਅਥ ਰਾਜਸੂ ਜਗ ਸਿਸੁਪਾਲ ਬਧ ਕਥਨੰ ॥
ath raajasoo jag sisupaal badh kathanan |Now begins the description of the Rajsui Yajna and the killing of Shishupal
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

ਉਤ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਵਾਇ ਗਏ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਧਾਮਿ ਇਤੈ ਜਦੁਰਾਇ ਦਿਲੀ ਮਹਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
aut sees nivaae ge nrip dhaam itai jaduraae dilee meh aayo |On that side, the kings went to their homes and on this side Krishna reached Delhi
ਭੀਮ ਕਹਿਓ ਸਭੁ ਭੇਦ ਸੁ ਮੈ ਬਲੁ ਯਾਹੀ ਤੇ ਪਾਇ ਕੈ ਸਤ੍ਰਹਿ ਘਾਯੋ ॥
bheem kahio sabh bhed su mai bal yaahee te paae kai satreh ghaayo |Bhima told all that he got strength from Krishna and thus killed the enemy
ਬਿਪ੍ਰ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਭਲੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਸੋ ਫਿਰਿ ਰਾਜਸੂਓ ਇਕ ਜਗਿ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥
bipr bulaae bhalee bidh so fir raajasooo ik jag machaayo |
ਆਰੰਭ ਜਗ ਕੋ ਭਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਜਸੁ ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਜੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਬਜਾਯੋ ॥੨੩੩੧॥
aaranbh jag ko bhayo tab hee jas dundabh jo brijanaath bajaayo |2331|Then calling the Brahmins respectfully, the Rajsui Yajna was begun and this Yajna began with the playing of the drum of Krishna.2331.
ਜੁਧਿਸਟਰ ਬਾਚ ਸਭਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ॥

ਜੋਰਿ ਸਭਾ ਦ੍ਵਿਜ ਛਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਯੌ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਕਉਨ ਮਨਇਯੈ ॥
jor sabhaa dvij chhatrin kee prithamai nrip yau kahiyo kaun maneiyai |
ਕੋ ਇਹ ਲਾਇਕ ਬੀਰ ਈਹਾ ਜਿਹ ਭਾਲ ਮੈ ਕੁੰਕਮ ਅਛਤ ਲਇਯੈ ॥
ko ih laaeik beer eehaa jih bhaal mai kunkam achhat leiyai |In the court of Kshatriyas and Brahmins, the king said, “Who should primarily be worshipped? Who is the most deserving person here, on whose forehead the saffron and other ingredients be applied?
ਬੋਲਿ ਉਠਿਯੋ ਸਹਦੇਵ ਤਬੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਲਾਇਕ ਯਾਹਿ ਚੜਇਯੈ ॥
bol utthiyo sahadev tabai brij naaeik laaeik yaeh charreiyai |Sahdev said, “Only Krishna is the most suitable
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਸਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਜਿਹ ਕੇ ਬਲਿ ਜਇਯੈ ॥੨੩੩੨॥
sree brijanaath sahee prabh hai kab sayaam bhanai jih ke bal jeiyai |2332|He is the real Lord and we all are a sacrifice to him.”2332.

ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

ਜਾਹੀ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ਸਦਾ ਕਰੀਐ ਮਨ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਕਾਜਨ ਮੈ ਉਰਝਇਯੈ ॥
jaahee kee sev sadaa kareeai man aaur na kaajan mai urajheiyai |“O mind! always serve him and do not entangle yourself in other matter
ਛੋਰਿ ਜੰਜਾਰ ਸਭੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੇ ਤਿਹ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੇ ਭੀਤਰ ਚਿਤ ਲਗਇਯੈ ॥
chhor janjaar sabhai grih ke tih dhiaan ke bheetar chit lageiyai |Abandoning all the entanglements, absorb your mind only in Krishna
ਜਾਹਿ ਕੋ ਭੇਦੁ ਪੁਰਾਨਨ ਤੇ ਮਤਿ ਸਾਧਨ ਬੇਦਨ ਤੇ ਕਛੁ ਪਇਯੈ ॥
jaeh ko bhed puraanan te mat saadhan bedan te kachh peiyai |His mystery is more or less, obtained by us in Vedas and Purana and in the company of the saints
ਤਾਹੀ ਕੋ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਪ੍ਰਥਮੈ ਉਠ ਕੈ ਕਿਉ ਨ ਕੁੰਕਮ ਭਾਲਿ ਲਗਇਯੈ ॥੨੩੩੩॥
taahee ko sayaam bhanai prathamai utth kai kiau na kunkam bhaal lageiyai |2333|Therefore primarily, the saffron and other ingredients be applied to the forehead of Krishna.”2333.
ਯੌ ਜਬ ਬੈਨ ਕਹੇ ਸਹਦੇਵ ਤੁ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਸਚੁ ਆਯੋ ॥
yau jab bain kahe sahadev tu bhoopat ke man mai sach aayo |
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਕੋ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਸਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕੈ ਠਹਰਾਯੋ ॥
sree brij naaeik ko man mai kab sayaam sahee prabh kai tthaharaayo |This speech of Sahdev was considered by all us true and in their minds they visualised him as Lord-god
ਕੁੰਕਮ ਅਛਤ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਲੀ ਕਰਿ ਬੇਦਨ ਕੀ ਧੁਨਿ ਭਾਲਿ ਚੜਾਯੋ ॥
kunkam achhat bhaat bhalee kar bedan kee dhun bhaal charraayo |
ਬੈਠੋ ਹੁਤੇ ਸਿਸੁਪਾਲ ਤਹਾ ਅਤਿ ਸੋ ਅਪਨੇ ਮਨ ਬੀਚ ਰਿਸਾਯੋ ॥੨੩੩੪॥
baittho hute sisupaal tahaa at so apane man beech risaayo |2334|Within the chanting of Vedic mantras, the saffron and other ingredients were applied on the forehead of Krihsna, seeing which, Shishupal sitting there, became extremely infuriated.2334.
ਸਿਸੁਪਾਲ ਬਾਚ ॥

ਬੀਰ ਬਡੋ ਹਮ ਸੋ ਤਜਿ ਕੈ ਇਹ ਕਾ ਜਿਹ ਕੁੰਕਮ ਭਾਲਿ ਚੜਾਯੋ ॥
beer baddo ham so taj kai ih kaa jih kunkam bhaal charraayo |
ਗੋਕੁਲ ਗਾਉ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਸਦਾ ਇਨਿ ਗੁਆਰਨ ਸੋ ਮਿਲਿ ਗੋਰਸੁ ਖਾਯੋ ॥
gokul gaau ke beech sadaa in guaaran so mil goras khaayo |Who is he, on whose forehead the frontal mark of saffron has been applied, leaving aside a great warrior like me? He has, living in Gokul village only among the milkmaids, eaten and drunk their curd and milk
ਅਉਰ ਸੁਨੋ ਡਰੁ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਕੇ ਗਯੋ ਦੁਆਰਵਤੀ ਭਜਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਬਚਾਯੋ ॥
aaur suno ddar satran ke gayo duaaravatee bhaj praan bachaayo |He is the same, who had escaped because of the fear of the enemy and gone to Dwarka
ਐਸੇ ਸੁਨਾਇ ਕਹੀ ਬਤੀਯਾ ਅਰੁ ਕੋਪਹਿ ਸੋ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਭਰਿ ਆਯੋ ॥੨੩੩੫॥
aaise sunaae kahee bateeyaa ar kopeh so at hee bhar aayo |2335|All this was uttered by Shishupal in great anger.2335.
ਬੋਲਤ ਭਯੋ ਸਿਸਪਾਲੁ ਤਬੈ ਸੁ ਸੁਨਾਇ ਸਭਾ ਸਭ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਢੈ ਕੈ ॥
bolat bhayo sisapaal tabai su sunaae sabhaa sabh krodh badtai kai |In his fury, Shishupal said all this within the hearing of whole court and got up, taking in his hand a huge mace, getting enraged
ਕੋਪ ਭਰਿਯੋ ਉਠਿ ਠਾਢੋ ਭਯੋ ਸੁ ਗਰਿਸਟਿ ਗਦਾ ਕਰਿ ਭੀਤਰ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
kop bhariyo utth tthaadto bhayo su garisatt gadaa kar bheetar lai kai |He, causing both his eyes to dance and calling bad names, said to Krishna
ਗੂਜਰ ਹੁਇ ਜਦੁਰਾਇ ਕਹਾਵਤ ਗਾਰੀ ਦਈ ਦੋਊ ਨੈਨ ਨਚੈ ਕੈ ॥
goojar hue jaduraae kahaavat gaaree dee doaoo nain nachai kai |“Being only a Gujjar (milkman), on what basis you call yourself the king of Yadavas?
ਸੋ ਸੁਨਿ ਫੂਫੀ ਕੇ ਬੈਨ ਚਿਤਾਰਿ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਜੂ ਚੁਪ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ॥੨੩੩੬॥
so sun foofee ke bain chitaar rahiyo brij naaeik joo chup hvai kai |2336|” Krishna saw all this and kept seated silently in view of the promise made to his aunt.2336.

ਸਤ ਗਾਰਨਿ ਲੌ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨ ਭਰਿਯੋ ॥
sat gaaran lau krodh na bhariyo |Remembering the promise made to his aunt, Krishna was not filled with anger after listening to one hundred bad named
ਸੋਬ ਠਾਢ ਬਰ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਨ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
sob tthaadt bar traas na keeno |
ਤਬ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਕਰਿ ਲੀਨੋ ॥੨੩੩੭॥
tab jadubeer chakr kar leeno |2337|Upto one hundred, he was not deterred in any way, but on reaching upto one hundred, Krishna caught his discus in his hand.2337.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਬਾਚ ॥

ਲੈ ਕਰਿ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਭਯੋ ਉਠਿ ਠਾਢ ਸੁ ਯੌ ਤਿਹ ਸੋ ਰਿਸ ਬਾਤ ਕਹੀ ॥
lai kar chakr bhayo utth tthaadt su yau tih so ris baat kahee |
ਫੁਨਿ ਫੂਫੀ ਕੇ ਬੈਨ ਚਿਤੈ ਅਬ ਲਉ ਤੁਹਿ ਨਾਸ ਕੀਯੋ ਨਹੀ ਮੋਨ ਗਹੀ ॥
fun foofee ke bain chitai ab lau tuhi naas keeyo nahee mon gahee |Krishna stood up, taking his discus in his hand and getting infuriated he said, “Remembering the words of my aunt, I have not killed you till now and kept silent
ਸਤਿ ਗਾਰਨਿ ਤੇ ਬਢ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਿ ਜਾਨਤ ਆਪਨੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਚਹੀ ॥
sat gaaran te badt ek hee tuhi jaanat aapanee mrit chahee |“If you uttered any more bad name above one hundred, then think that you hve called your death yourself
