ਯਾ ਕੁਤੀਯਾ ਕੀ ਅਬ ਹੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਉਘਾਰਿਯੌ ॥
yaa kuteeyaa kee ab hee kriaa ughaariyau |(I) only now remove the deed of this dog.
ਹੋ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਮੂੰਡਿ ਕੈ ਮੂੰਡ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਇਹ ਮਾਰਿਹੌ ॥੮॥
ho pratham moondd kai moondd bahur ih maarihau |8|First I shave its head and then I kill it.8.
ਲਏ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਸਭ ਸੰਗ ਤਹੀ ਆਵਤ ਭਈ ॥
le prajaa sabh sang tahee aavat bhee |She came there with all the people
ਜਹਾ ਖਾਟ ਤਟ ਗਾਡਿ ਦੋਊ ਗੁਡਿਯਨ ਗਈ ॥
jahaa khaatt tatt gaadd doaoo guddiyan gee |Where two dolls were pressed under the bed.
ਸਭਨ ਲਹਿਤ ਖਨ ਭੂਮਿ ਲਏ ਤੇ ਕਾਢਿ ਕੈ ॥
sabhan lahit khan bhoom le te kaadt kai |In the sight of all, he dug up the ground and took out (the dolls).
ਹੋ ਮੂੰਡਿ ਸਵਤਿ ਕੋ ਮੂੰਡ ਨਾਕ ਪੁਨਿ ਬਾਢਿ ਕੈ ॥੯॥

ਮੂੰਡਿ ਮੂੰਡਿ ਕਟਿ ਨਾਕ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

ਉਹਿ ਬਿਧਿ ਪਤਿ ਹਨਿ ਇਹ ਛਲ ਯਾ ਕਹ ਟਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
auhi bidh pat han ih chhal yaa kah ttaariyo |By killing the husband with that method, he ended it (sleepiness).
ਚੰਚਲਾਨ ਕੇ ਭੇਦ ਨਾਹਿ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਲਹਿਯੋ ॥
chanchalaan ke bhed naeh kinahoon lahiyo |No one could understand the secrets of women.
ਹੋ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰੁ ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਨਨ ਮੈ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥੧੦॥
ho saasatr sinmrit ru bed puraanan mai kahiyo |10|This has been said in Shastras, Smritis, Vedas and Puranas. 10.

ਸਹਿਰ ਟੰਕ ਟੋਡਾ ਬਿਖੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕਲਾ ਇਕ ਬਾਲ ॥

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥
bhaat bhaat ke bhog kamaavai |He used to indulge in various things.
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਦੇਵੇਸ ਲਜਾਵੈ ॥੨॥

ਐਂਡੋ ਰਾਇ ਭਾਟ ਕੋ ਸੁਤ ਤਹ ॥

ਤਾ ਕੈ ਰੂਪ ਨ ਸਮ ਕੋਊ ਮਹਿ ਮਹ ॥

ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਿਹ ਸਾਥ ਕਮਾਊਾਂ ॥੪॥

ਪਰਮ ਪਾਟ ਕੀ ਝੂਲਨਿ ਏਕ ਸਵਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥

ਤਾ ਪਰ ਝੂਲਤਿ ਭਈ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕੈ ॥
taa par jhoolat bhee bichaar bichaar kai |(And in the mind) after thinking about it, the pain started
ਯਾਹੀ ਚੜਿ ਪੀਰੀ ਪਰ ਪਿਯਹਿ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਹੌ ॥
yaahee charr peeree par piyeh bulaae hau |That I will climb over this generation and call the Beloved
ਹੋ ਅਰਧ ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿ ਗੇ ਘਰ ਕੌ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਹਾਇ ਹੌ ॥੫॥
ho aradh raatr ge ghar kau taeh bahaae hau |5|And I will send him home after midnight. 5.
ਯਾ ਪੀਰੀ ਕਹ ਦੈਹੌ ਤਰੇ ਬਹਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
yaa peeree kah daihau tare bahaae kai |I will hang (him) down by placing him in this generation
ਰੇਸਮ ਕੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਡੋਰੈ ਚਾਰ ਲਗਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
resam kee drirr ddorai chaar lagaae kai |And will tie four strong silk ropes.
ਸੋ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਹੂੰ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਇ ਹੈ ॥
so jaa ko nrip hoon kabahoon leh jaae hai |If ever the king will see it
ਹੋ ਜਾਨਿ ਪੀਂਘ ਚੁਪਿ ਰਹਿ ਹੈ ਕਹਾ ਰਿਸਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੬॥
ho jaan peengh chup reh hai kahaa risaae hai |6|Then he will remain silent knowing the pain and why will he get angry (meaning he will not get angry) 6.
ਅਰਧ ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿ ਪੀਰੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਤਰੇ ਬਹਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
aradh raatr peeree grih tare bahaae kai |(She) used to hang the pydi under the house in the middle of the night
ਡੋਰਹਿ ਖੈਂਚਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਹਿ ਲੇਤ ਚੜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
ddoreh khainch preetameh let charraae kai |And would pull the ropes and lift the beloved.
ਰਾਨੀ ਸੰਗ ਤਿਹ ਆਨਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਾ ਦੇਤ ਕਰਿ ॥
raanee sang tih aan milaavaa det kar |(Friends) would match him with the queen
ਹੋ ਜਾਨਿ ਕੇਲ ਕੀ ਸਮੈ ਸਖੀ ਸਭ ਜਾਹਿ ਟਰਿ ॥੭॥
ho jaan kel kee samai sakhee sabh jaeh ttar |7|And knowing the time of Kama Krida, all friendships are removed.7.
ਤਵਨ ਭਾਟ ਕੌ ਨਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਲੇਤ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
tavan bhaatt kau nit prat let bulaae kai |(She) used to call that Bhat everyday
ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਰਹਨ ਨ ਦੇਹਿ ਬਹਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
ek divas grih rahan na dehi bahaae kai |And would not let (him) stay in the house even for a day and would (send him home) hanging (with a pole).
ਐਚਿ ਐਚਿ ਤਿਹ ਲੇਤ ਨ ਛੋਰਤ ਏਕ ਛਿਨ ॥
aaich aaich tih let na chhorat ek chhin |She pulls it together and doesn't let go even for an inch.
ਹੋ ਆਨਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕੇ ਧਾਮ ਸੋਯੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਏਕ ਦਿਨ ॥੮॥
ho aan triyaa ke dhaam soyo nrip ek din |8|One day the king came to that woman's house and slept.8.
ਰਾਵ ਨ ਲਹਿਯੋ ਚੇਰਿਯਨ ਭਾਟ ਬੁਲਾਇਯੋ ॥
raav na lahiyo cheriyan bhaatt bulaaeiyo |The maids did not see the king (arrive) and called the Bhat.
ਬਿਨ ਰਾਨੀ ਕੇ ਕਹੇ ਸੁ ਜਾਰ ਮੰਗਾਇਯੋ ॥
bin raanee ke kahe su jaar mangaaeiyo |(They) invited the man without the queen's permission.
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਰਾਇ ਤਿਹ ਕਹਿ ਤਸਕਰ ਜਾਗਤ ਭਯੋ ॥
nirakh raae tih keh tasakar jaagat bhayo |Seeing him, the king woke up calling him a thief.
ਹੋ ਯਾਹਿ ਨ ਦੈ ਹੌ ਜਾਨਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਅਸਿ ਕਰ ਲਯੋ ॥੯॥
ho yaeh na dai hau jaan kaadt as kar layo |9|(Thinking that I will not let it go) he drew the sword in his hand. 9.
