ਤੁਰਤੁ ਤੁਰੈ ਤੇ ਉਤਰ ਸਲਾਮੈ ਤੀਨਿ ਕਰ ॥
turat turai te utar salaamai teen kar |Immediately dismounting (that woman) saluted three times
ਹੋ ਲੀਜੈ ਅਪਨੋ ਤੁਰੈ ਲਯੋ ਮੈ ਮੋਲ ਭਰਿ ॥੧੦॥
ho leejai apano turai layo mai mol bhar |10|(And said) I took my price, (now) you take your horse. 10.

ਮੁਹਰੈ ਘਰ ਪਹੁਚਾਇ ਕੈ ਤਿਨ ਕੌ ਚਰਿਤ ਦਿਖਾਇ ॥

ਆਨਿ ਤੁਰੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੋ ਦਿਯੋ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ॥੧੧॥

ਪ੍ਰਮੁਦ ਕੁਮਾਰਿ ਰਾਨੀ ਰਹੈ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
pramud kumaar raanee rahai jaa ko roop apaar |(One) There was a queen named Pramuda Kumari whose appearance was very beautiful.
ਬਿਜੈ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਕਿਯੋ ਆਪਨਾ ਯਾਰ ॥੧॥
bijai raaj raajaa nirakh kiyo aapanaa yaar |1|(He) saw a king named Bijay Raj and made him his friend. 1.

ਬਿਜੈ ਰਾਜ ਕੋ ਲੀਨੋ ਧਾਮ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਰਤਿ ਕਰੀ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
lapatt lapatt rat karee harakh upajaae kai |Played joyfully (with him).
ਪੁਨਿ ਤਾ ਸੋ ਯੌ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰਿ ॥
pun taa so yau bachan uchaare preet kar |Then make love to him and pronounce the words like this.
ਹੋ ਸੁਨਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਮੁਰਿ ਬੈਨ ਲੀਜਿਅਹਿ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਧਰਿ ॥੨॥
ho sun raajaa mur bain leejieh hridai dhar |2|O Rajan! Listen to my words and keep it in your mind. 2.
ਜਬ ਮੁਰ ਕਿਯੋ ਸੁਯੰਬਰ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਨਾਇ ਕਰਿ ॥
jab mur kiyo suyanbar pitaa banaae kar |When my father did sambar
ਹੌ ਲਖਿ ਕੈ ਤੁਮਰੋ ਰੂਪ ਰਹੀ ਉਰਝਾਇ ਕਰ ॥
hau lakh kai tumaro roop rahee urajhaae kar |So I got confused seeing your form.
ਅਵਰ ਰਾਵ ਮੁਹਿ ਲੈ ਗਯੋ ਜੁਧ ਮਚਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
avar raav muhi lai gayo judh machaae kai |But the second king made war and took me away.
ਹੋ ਮੋਰ ਨ ਬਸ ਕਛੁ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਮਰੋ ਬਿਖ ਖਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੩॥
ho mor na bas kachh chaliyo maro bikh khaae kai |3|None of my life went away, (except) by eating poison and dying. 3.
ਲਗਨ ਅਨੋਖੀ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਤੋਰੀ ਜਾਤ ਹੈ ॥
lagan anokhee lagai na toree jaat hai |Can't be broken with extraordinary perseverance.
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਤਿਹਾਰੋ ਰੂਪ ਨ ਹਿਯੋ ਸਿਰਾਤ ਹੈ ॥
nirakh tihaaro roop na hiyo siraat hai |There is no cold in the heart without seeing your form.
ਕੀਜੈ ਸੋਊ ਚਰਿਤ ਜੁ ਤੁਮ ਕਹ ਪਾਇਯੈ ॥
keejai soaoo charit ju tum kah paaeiyai |Make a character that can get you.
ਹੋ ਨਿਜੁ ਨਾਰੀ ਮੁਹਿ ਕੀਜੈ ਸੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਬਤਾਇਯੈ ॥੪॥
ho nij naaree muhi keejai su bidh bataaeiyai |4|Tell me such a method that you can make me your wife. 4.
ਮਹਾ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਭਵਨ ਜੁਗਿਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਆਇਹੌ ॥
mahaa rudr ke bhavan jugin hvai aaeihau |I will come as a Jogan in the temple of Maha Rudra.
ਕਛੁਕ ਮਨੁਖ ਲੈ ਸੰਗ ਤਹਾ ਚਲਿ ਜਾਇਹੌ ॥
kachhuk manukh lai sang tahaa chal jaaeihau |I will go there with some people.
ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੂ ਤੁਮ ਤਹ ਦਲੁ ਲੈ ਆਇਯੋ ॥
mahaaraaj joo tum tah dal lai aaeiyo |O Maharaja! You should come there with (your) party.
ਹੋ ਦੁਸਟਨ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਸੰਘਾਰਿ ਹਮੈ ਲੈ ਜਾਇਯੋ ॥੫॥
ho dusattan pratham sanghaar hamai lai jaaeiyo |5|Kill the evildoers (who came with them) and take me away. 5.
ਬਦਿ ਤਾ ਸੋ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
bad taa so sanket bahur sukh paae kai |By telling him this sign and then happily
ਨਿਜੁ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਕਹਿ ਲੋਗਨ ਦਈ ਸੁਨਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
nij mukh te keh logan dee sunaae kai |He told the people from his own mouth,
ਮਹਾ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਭਵਨ ਕਾਲਿ ਮੈ ਜਾਇਹੌ ॥
mahaa rudr ke bhavan kaal mai jaaeihau |will go to Maha Rudra temple tomorrow
ਹੋ ਏਕ ਰੈਨਿ ਜਗਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸਦਨ ਉਠਿ ਆਇਹੌ ॥੬॥

ਕਛੁਕ ਮਨੁਛ ਲੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਜਾਤਿ ਤਿਤ ਕੋ ਭਈ ॥
kachhuk manuchh lai sang jaat tith ko bhee |(She) went there with some people.
ਮਹਾ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਭਵਨ ਜਗਤ ਰਜਨੀ ਗਈ ॥
mahaa rudr ke bhavan jagat rajanee gee |Went to the temple of Maha Rudra to perform jagrata.
ਪ੍ਯਾਰੀ ਕੋ ਆਗਮ ਰਾਜੈ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਇਯੋ ॥
payaaree ko aagam raajai sun paaeiyo |The king came to know about the arrival of (that) lover.
ਹੋ ਭੋਰ ਹੋਨ ਨਹਿ ਦਈ ਜੋਰਿ ਦਲੁ ਆਇਯੋ ॥੭॥
ho bhor hon neh dee jor dal aaeiyo |7|(He) did not let the morning break and reached with a party. 7.
ਜੋ ਜਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਤਿਨ ਘਾਇਯੋ ॥
jo jan triy ke sang pratham tin ghaaeiyo |The men who were with the woman, killed them first.
ਜੀਯਤ ਬਚੇ ਜੋ ਜੋਧਾ ਤਿਨੈ ਭਜਾਇਯੋ ॥
jeeyat bache jo jodhaa tinai bhajaaeiyo |The warriors who escaped alive were driven away.
ਤਾ ਪਾਛੇ ਰਾਨੀ ਕੋ ਲਯੋ ਉਚਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
taa paachhe raanee ko layo uchaae kai |After that took the queen
ਹੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਅਪਨੇ ਕੋ ਗਯੋ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੮॥
ho grih apane ko gayo harakh upajaae kai |8|And happily went to his home.8.
ਰਾਨੀ ਕੋ ਲੀਨੋ ਸੁਖਪਾਲ ਚੜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
raanee ko leeno sukhapaal charraae kai |Rani was carried in Sukhpal.
ਆਲਿੰਗਨ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਕੀਨੇ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
aalingan chunban keene sukh paae kai |Happily hugged and kissed.
ਸੁਨਤ ਲੋਗ ਕੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਬਹੁ ਕੂਕ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕੀ ॥
sunat log ke triy bahu kook pukaar kee |The woman shouted loudly to make the people hear.
ਹੋ ਚਿਤ ਆਪਨੇ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਦੁਆਏ ਦੇਤ ਭੀ ॥੯॥
ho chit aapane ke beech duaae det bhee |9|But in her heart she was giving prayers (to the friend). 9.
