The drum is playing by dum dum
And swords are shining in many hands.
Very strong warriors are dying in the war.
They are being showered with rain. 18.
Millions of flags are fluttering.
(They are so great that) even the sun and the moon cannot be seen.
Masan (ghosts) are saying there
And the warriors are fighting while dancing to the tune of the instruments. 19.
dual:
There has been a special rain of swords, swords, and arrows.
All the heroes have been wounded and martyred without account. 20.
Bhujang Verse:
All the gods were defeated by fighting a great war
In spite of giving tough fight, gods lost and, but, as his wife was
Many brave warriors have died in battle.
virtuous, he (Jalandhar) could not be killed.(21)
(The giants started saying) O Indra! Where do you go, (we) will not let you go.
You have to be killed in this battlefield.
The warriors are armed with horses and arrows.
The beauty has been increased by making a lot of anger in the mind. 22.
Then Vishnu thought (in his mind) this
And assumed the full form of the Jalandhar demon.
Brinda woman was sitting in the garden
And seeing (the form of) Kama Dev's pride was also being destroyed. 23.
Dohira
Then Vishnu thought over the plan and disguised himself as Devil (Jalandhar).
The garden, where Brinda was staying, captivated every body’s mind, even Cupid would getjealous.(24)
Chaupaee
(Vishnu in Jalandhar form) behaved with him in kind
He enjoyed with her invariably and illuminated the Cupid’s ego.
I narrate the war that took place there,
‘Now I will narrate you the fighting which went on here, which would sooth your feeling.’(25)
Bhujang Chhand
There are giants and there are good gods.
All are holding tridents and spears.
A deadly sound is playing in that war-land.
The sons of Diti and Aditi are making noise on both sides. 26.
Somewhere the warriors were fighting with great anger.
On one side the devils were strong and on the other, the gods were equall good.
Somewhere kings, horses, warriors and great armor (are lying).
Both had spears and tridents and dIe progeny of both ofthem was full involved.(27)
Somewhere the helmets are broken, somewhere the heavy bells are sounding,
Somewhere the young warriors are happy with the wives of the Kataris.
Some shuls and sehathis are lying on the ground like this
That their beautiful beauty is like a great flame. 28.

(Vishnu) first dissolved seven of Brinda.
