ਬਿਯੂਹਨਿ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

biyoohan aad bakhaaneeai rip ar ant uchaar |

Saying (the word) 'Biyuhani' (army of the wife) first, (then) at the end pronounce 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥੫੫੦॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu chatur bichaar |550|

Saying firstly the word “Vayhani” and then uttering “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.550.

ਬਜ੍ਰਣਿ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

First say the word 'Bajrani' (army of stone balls) (then) finally say the word 'Ripu Ari'.

ਬਲਣੀ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

balanee aad bakhaaneeai rip ar ant uchaar |

By first saying the word 'balani' (army with swords), add 'ripu ari' (word) at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥੫੫੨॥

Saying firstly the word “Vajrani” and then uttering “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.552.

ਦਲਣੀ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਮਲਣੀ ਪਦ ਪੁਨਿ ਦੇਹੁ ॥

dalanee aad uchaar kai malanee pad pun dehu |

First by saying the word 'dalani' (army with feathered arrows), then say the word 'malani'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੫੫੩॥

naam tupak ke hot hai cheen chatur chit lehu |553|

Saying firstly the word “Delni” and then adding the word “Mallni”, the names of Tupak are formed, which of wise men! You may comprehend in your mind.553.

ਬਾਦਿਤ੍ਰਣੀ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਅਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ॥

First say 'Baditrini' (army of instruments) and put the word 'Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੫੫੪॥

naam tupak ke hot hai cheen chatur chit lehu |554|

Saying the word “Vaadittrani” and then adding “Ari”, the names of Tupak are formed.554.

ਆਦਿ ਨਾਦਨੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

aad naadanee sabad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

First say the word 'nadni' (numbered army) (then) at the end say 'ripu ari' (word).

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੫੫੫॥

Saying primarily the word “Naadini” and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.555.

ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਧਰਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

dundabh dharanee aad keh rip ar ant bakhaan |

First adding the phrase 'Dundabhi Dharni' (army holding the city), (then) recite 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੫੫੬॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh sujaan |556|

Saying firstly the word “Dundubhi-dhanani” and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.556.

ਦੁੰਦਭਨੀ ਪਦ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

dundabhanee pad pratham keh rip ar ant uchaar |

Saying 'Dundabhani' (army of cities) first, then say 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਸੁ ਧਾਰ ॥੫੫੭॥

Saying primarily the word “Dundubhini” and then uttering “Ripu Ari” at the end, O poets, the names of Tupak are formed.557.

ਨਾਦ ਨਾਦਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

naad naadanee aad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

By first saying the word 'nad nadni' (numbered army), (then) add the word 'ripu ari' at the end.

Saying firstly the word “Naad-naadini” and then uttering “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.558.

dundabh dhunanee aad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

First saying 'dundabhi dhunani' (army of chants), (then) add 'ripu ari' (word) at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਸਮਝਹੁ ਸੁਘਰ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੫੫੯॥

naam tupak ke hot hai samajhahu sughar apaar |559|

Saying firstly the word “Dundubhi-dhanani” and then uttering “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.559.

ਆਦਿ ਭੇਰਣੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

aad bheranee sabad keh rip pad bahur bakhaan |

First by saying 'Bherani' (army singing the tune of Bheri), then add the words 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਬੁਧਿਵਾਨ ॥੫੬੦॥

naam tupak ke hot hai cheen lehu budhivaan |560|

Saying primarily the word “Bherini” and then adding the word “Ripu Ari”, O wise men, the names of Tupak are formed.560.

ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਘੋਖਨ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

dundabh ghokhan aad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

By first saying 'dundabhi ghokhan' (army of roaring bullies), add 'ripu ari' (word).

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਨਿਰਧਾਰ ॥੫੬੧॥

naam tupak ke hot hai cheen chatur niradhaar |561|

Saying firstly the word “Dundubhi-dhanani” and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.561.

ਨਾਦਾਨਿਸਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

naadaanisanee aad keh rip ar bahur bakhaan |

First by saying the word 'Nadanisni' (the army that makes the sound of Naad), then add the word 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਕਰੀਅਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ॥੫੬੨॥

naam tupak ke hot hai kareeahu chatur pramaan |562|

Saying firstly the word “Naad-Nisani” and then adding “Ripu Ari”, the names of Tupak are formed.562.

ਆਨਿਕਨੀ ਪਦ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

aanikanee pad aad keh rip pad bahur bakhaan |

First say the word 'Anikani' (army of soldiers), then say the word 'Ripu'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੫੬੩॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh sujaan |563|

Saying firstly the word “Anikni” and then adding the word “Ripu Ari”, O wise men! the names of Tupak are formed.563.

ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਢਾਲਨੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

pratham dtaalanee sabad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

By first saying the word 'Dhalani' (army with shields), (then) add the word 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥੫੬੪॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu samajh bichaar |564|

Saying firstly the word “Dhaalani” and then uttering “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed, which may be comprehended thoughtfully.564.

ਢਢਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰੋ ਦੇਹੁ ॥

dtadtanee aad uchaar kai rip pad bahuro dehu |

By first pronouncing the word 'Dhadni' (army with a rump), then add the word 'Ripu'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੫੬੫॥

naam tupak ke hot hai cheen chatur chit lehu |565|

Add the word “Ripu” after saying the word “Dhadhni” primarily, and in this way recognize the names of Tupak.565.

ਸੰਖਨਿਸਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

sankhanisanee aad keh rip ar bahur uchaar |

First by saying 'Sankhanisani' (Sena playing Sankh), then pronounce 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਨਿਰਧਾਰ ॥੫੬੬॥

Saying firstly the word “Shankhnishoni” and then uttering “Ripu Ari”, the names of Tupak are formed.566.

ਸੰਖ ਸਬਦਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

sankh sabadanee aad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

First say 'Sankh Sabdani' (the army of Sankh words) then add 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਸੁ ਧਾਰ ॥੫੬੭॥

Saying the word “Shankh-Shabadni” primarily and then uttering “Ripu Ari”, at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.567.

ਸੰਖ ਨਾਦਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

sankh naadanee aad keh rip ar ant bakhaan |

Saying first 'Sankh Nadni' (Sena making Sankh Sadhi sound), (then) recite 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸਮਝ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੫੬੮॥

Saying the word “Shankh-naadni” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed, which O wise men! you may comprehend.568.

ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਦਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

singh naadanee aad keh rip ar ant uchaar |

Saying the words 'Singh Nadni' first, (then) say the words 'Ripu Ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਸੁ ਧਾਰ ॥੫੬੯॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu sukab su dhaar |569|

Saying the word “Singh-naadani’ in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, O good poet! the names of Tupak are formed correctly.569.

ਪਲ ਭਛਿ ਨਾਦਨਿ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

pal bhachh naadan aad keh rip ar ant bakhaan |

First by saying 'pal bhachi nadni' (an army of ran singhs), (then) add the words 'ripu ari' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ॥੫੭੦॥

naam tupak ke hot hai chatur chit pahichaan |570|

Saying the word “Palbhaksh-naadani” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.570.

ਬਿਆਘ੍ਰ ਨਾਦਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

First say the word 'byaghra nadni' and then say the word 'ripu ari'.

Saying firstly “Vyaghra-Naadni” and then “Ripu Ari” , the names of Tupak are formed.571.

ਹਰਿ ਜਛਨਿ ਨਾਦਨਿ ਉਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

har jachhan naadan uchar kai rip ar ant bakhaan |

First utter the words 'Hari Jachhani Nadni' (lion-roaring army) and at the end say 'Ripu Ari'.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੫੭੨॥

naam tupak ke hot hai leejahu chatur pachhaan |572|

Saying the word “Haryaksh-naadini” in the beginning and then adding “Ripu Ari” at the end, the names of Tupak are formed.572.

ਪੁੰਡਰੀਕ ਨਾਦਨਿ ਉਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

punddareek naadan uchar kai rip pad ant bakhaan |

By first saying 'Pundarik Nadni' (the army that chants Ranasinghe), add the word 'Ripu' at the end.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਬੁਧਿਵਾਨ ॥੫੭੩॥
