ਮਿਲੇ ਭਰਥ ਮਾਤੰ ॥
mile bharath maatan |

(Then) met Bharata's mother (Kaikai).

ਕਹੀ ਸਰਬ ਬਾਤੰ ॥
kahee sarab baatan |

Then Ram met the mother of Bharat and told her all that happened with him

ਧਨੰ ਮਾਤ ਤੋ ਕੋ ॥
dhanan maat to ko |

Oh mother! thank you

ਅਰਿਣੀ ਕੀਨ ਮੋ ਕੋ ॥੬੭੩॥
arinee keen mo ko |673|

Ram said, “O mother, I am thankful to you because you have made me free from indebtedness.673.

ਕਹਾ ਦੋਸ ਤੇਰੈ ॥
kahaa dos terai |

What is your fault (in this)?

ਲਿਖੀ ਲੇਖ ਮੇਰੈ ॥
likhee lekh merai |

(Such a thing) was written in my sections.

ਹੁਨੀ ਹੋ ਸੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
hunee ho su hoee |

What was meant to be, has happened.

ਕਹੈ ਕਉਨ ਕੋਈ ॥੬੭੪॥
kahai kaun koee |674|

“You are not to be blamed for this, because it was recorded in my destiny, whatever happens, has to happen, none can describe it.”674.

ਕਰੋ ਬੋਧ ਮਾਤੰ ॥
karo bodh maatan |

By imparting (such) knowledge to (some) mother

ਮਿਲਯੋ ਫੇਰਿ ਭ੍ਰਾਤੰ ॥
milayo fer bhraatan |

Then met the brother.

ਸੁਨਯੋ ਭਰਥ ਧਾਏ ॥
sunayo bharath dhaae |

Bharat came running as soon as he heard it

ਪਗੰ ਸੀਸ ਲਾਏ ॥੬੭੫॥
pagan sees laae |675|

He pacified his mother in this way and then he met his brother Bharat. Bharat on hearing his arrival ran towards him and touched his head with the feet of Ram.675.

ਭਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਅੰਕੰ ॥
bhare raam ankan |

Sri Ram embraced him (Bharat).

ਮਿਟੀ ਸਰਬ ਸੰਕੰ ॥
mittee sarab sankan |

Ram hugged him to his bosom and cleared all the doubts

ਮਿਲਯੰ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਹੰਤਾ ॥
milayan satr hantaa |

So much Shatrughan came

ਸਰੰ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਗੰਤਾ ॥੬੭੬॥
saran saasatr gantaa |676|

Then he met Shatrugan, who had expert knowledge of weapons and Shastras.676.

ਜਟੰ ਧੂਰ ਝਾਰੀ ॥
jattan dhoor jhaaree |

(Shatrughan the warrior) with his jats

ਪਗੰ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਰੀ ॥
pagan raam raaree |

swept away the dust of Sri Rama's feet.

ਕਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਅਰਚਾ ॥
karee raaj arachaa |

(Then) the kings worshiped (Rama).

ਦਿਜੰ ਬੇਦ ਚਰਚਾ ॥੬੭੭॥
dijan bed charachaa |677|

The brothers cleansed the dust from the feet and matted hair of Ram. They worlshipped him in royal way and the Brahmins recited the Vedas.677.

ਕਰੈਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਨੰ ॥
karain geet gaanan |

All sing songs of joy.

ਭਰੇ ਵੀਰ ਮਾਨੰ ॥
bhare veer maanan |

All the heroes are filled with the pride of heroism.

ਦੀਯੰ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੰ ॥
deeyan raam raajan |

Then Ram was given the kingdom

ਸਰੇ ਸਰਬ ਕਾਜੰ ॥੬੭੮॥
sare sarab kaajan |678|

All the brothers sang full of love. Ram was made the king and all the works were completed in this way.678.

ਬੁਲੈ ਬਿਪ ਲੀਨੇ ॥
bulai bip leene |

(Then) the Brahmins called,

ਸ੍ਰੁਤੋਚਾਰ ਕੀਨੇ ॥
srutochaar keene |

The Brahmins were called in and with the recitation of Vedic mantras Ram was enthroned

ਭਏ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
bhe raam raajaa |

Thus, when Ramji became king

ਬਜੇ ਜੀਤ ਬਾਜਾ ॥੬੭੯॥
baje jeet baajaa |679|

On all the four sides resounded the musical instruments denoting victory.679.

ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ ॥
bhujang prayaat chhand |

BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA

ਚਹੂੰ ਚਕ ਕੇ ਛਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ ਬੁਲਾਏ ॥
chahoon chak ke chhatradhaaree bulaae |

Umbrella kings called from all four sides

ਧਰੇ ਅਤ੍ਰ ਨੀਕੇ ਪੁਰੀ ਅਉਧ ਆਏ ॥
dhare atr neeke puree aaudh aae |

The sovereigns were called from all the four directions and they all reached Avadhpuri

ਗਹੇ ਰਾਮ ਪਾਯੰ ਪਰਮ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥
gahe raam paayan param preet kai kai |

They held the feet of Sri Ram out of great love.

ਮਿਲੇ ਚਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਸੀ ਬਡੀ ਭੇਟ ਦੈ ਕੈ ॥੬੮੦॥
mile chatr desee baddee bhett dai kai |680|

They all fell at the feet of Ram, exhibiting their supreme love and met him with great presents.680.

ਦਏ ਚੀਨ ਮਾਚੀਨ ਚੀਨੰਤ ਦੇਸੰ ॥
de cheen maacheen cheenant desan |

The kings gave gifts (Chinant) of the land of China.

ਮਹਾ ਸੁੰਦ੍ਰੀ ਚੇਰਕਾ ਚਾਰ ਕੇਸੰ ॥
mahaa sundree cherakaa chaar kesan |

The kings presented gifts from various and beautiful maidens of elegant hair.

ਮਨੰ ਮਾਨਕੰ ਹੀਰ ਚੀਰੰ ਅਨੇਕੰ ॥
manan maanakan heer cheeran anekan |

There were many beads, jewels, diamonds and clothes. (j) be searched

ਕੀਏ ਖੇਜ ਪਈਯੈ ਕਹੂੰ ਏਕ ਏਕੰ ॥੬੮੧॥
kee khej peeyai kahoon ek ekan |681|

They also presented rare gems. Jewels and garments 681.

ਮਨੰ ਮੁਤੀਯੰ ਮਾਨਕੰ ਬਾਜ ਰਾਜੰ ॥
manan muteeyan maanakan baaj raajan |

(Someone) loves, pearls, precious, noble horses

ਦਏ ਦੰਤਪੰਤੀ ਸਜੇ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਜੰ ॥
de dantapantee saje sarab saajan |

They presented winsome horses, jewels, gems, pearls as well as elephants

ਰਥੰ ਬੇਸਟੰ ਹੀਰ ਚੀਰੰ ਅਨੰਤੰ ॥
rathan besattan heer cheeran anantan |

Rows of elephants were given. (Someone) gave armor studded with diamonds and infinite chariots

ਮਨੰ ਮਾਨਕੰ ਬਧ ਰਧੰ ਦੁਰੰਤੰ ॥੬੮੨॥
manan maanakan badh radhan durantan |682|

The chariots, diamonds, raiments and invaluable precious stones were also presented.682.

ਕਿਤੇ ਸ੍ਵੇਤ ਐਰਾਵਤੰ ਤੁਲਿ ਦੰਤੀ ॥
kite svet aairaavatan tul dantee |

How many gave elephants like the white Aravat

ਦਏ ਮੁਤਯੰ ਸਾਜ ਸਜੇ ਸੁਪੰਤੀ ॥
de mutayan saaj saje supantee |

Somewhere the whit elephants bedecked with gems are being presented

ਕਿਤੇ ਬਾਜ ਰਾਜੰ ਜਰੀ ਜੀਨ ਸੰਗੰ ॥
kite baaj raajan jaree jeen sangan |

Some gave excellent horses with zari saddles

ਨਚੈ ਨਟ ਮਾਨੋ ਮਚੇ ਜੰਗ ਰੰਗੰ ॥੬੮੩॥
nachai natt maano mache jang rangan |683|

Somewhere the horses tightened with brocaded thick cloth are dancing exhibiting a spectacle of war. 683.

ਕਿਤੇ ਪਖਰੇ ਪੀਲ ਰਾਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ॥
kite pakhare peel raajaa pramaanan |

How many elephants with political fab sides

ਦਏ ਬਾਜ ਰਾਜੀ ਸਿਰਾਜੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੰ ॥
de baaj raajee siraajee nripaanan |

And several kings gave excellent horses to the city of Shiraz.

ਦਈ ਰਕਤ ਨੀਲੰ ਮਣੀ ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗੰ ॥
dee rakat neelan manee rang rangan |
