ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਲਉ ਪੌਤ੍ਰ ਲਉ ਪੈ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੇ ਅਨਤੈ ਨਹਿ ਮਾਗਨ ਧਾਏ ॥
putr lau pauatr lau pai tin ke grih ke anatai neh maagan dhaae |They were given so much charity that their sons and grandsons never begged any more
ਪੂਰਨ ਜਗਿ ਕਰਾਇ ਕੈ ਯੌ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇ ਸਭੈ ਮਿਲਿ ਡੇਰਨ ਆਏ ॥੨੩੫੪॥
pooran jag karaae kai yau sukh paae sabhai mil dderan aae |2354|In this way, completing the Yajna, all of them returned to their homes.2354.

ਜਬੈ ਆਪਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਬਿਖੈ ਆਏ ਭੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ॥
jabai aapane greh bikhai aae bhoop prabeen |When the great king (Yudhisthara) came to his house,
ਜਗ੍ਯ ਕਾਜ ਬੋਲੇ ਜਿਤੇ ਸਭੈ ਬਿਦਾ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਨ ॥੨੩੫੫॥
jagay kaaj bole jite sabhai bidaa kar deen |2355|When these efficient kings came to their home, then they bade farewell to all the invitees for the Yajna.2355.

ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਰਹੇ ਬਹੁ ਦਿਵਸ ਤਹਾ ਸੁ ਬਧੂ ਅਪਨੀ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਸੰਗ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
kaanrah rahe bahu divas tahaa su badhoo apanee sabh hee sang lai kai |Krishna stayed there for a long time with his wife
ਕੰਚਨ ਦੇਹ ਦਿਪੈ ਜਿਨ ਕੀ ਤਿਨ ਮੈਨ ਰਹੇ ਪਿਖਿ ਲਜਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ॥
kanchan deh dipai jin kee tin main rahe pikh lajat hvai kai |Seeing his gold-like body, the god of love felt shy
ਭੂਖਨ ਅੰਗ ਸਜੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਸਭ ਆਵਤ ਭੀ ਦ੍ਰੁਪਤੀ ਸਿਰਿ ਨਿਐ ਕੈ ॥
bhookhan ang saje apane sabh aavat bhee drupatee sir niaai kai |Dropati, who is adorned with jewels on all her limbs, has come (there) with her head bowed.
ਕੈਸੇ ਬਿਵਾਹਿਓ ਹੈ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਤੁਮੈ ਸਭ ਮੋਹ ਕਹੋ ਤੁਮੈ ਆਨੰਦ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥੨੩੫੬॥
kaise bivaahio hai sayaam tumai sabh moh kaho tumai aanand kai kai |2356|Wearing her ornaments on her limbs Draupadi also came and stayed there and she asked Krishna and Rukmani about their marriage.2356.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਜਬ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਯੌ ਦ੍ਰੋਪਤੀ ਪੂਛਿਯੋ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਬਢਾਇ ॥
jab tin kau yau dropatee poochhiyo prem badtaae |When Draupadi increased her love and asked them like this
ਅਪਨੀ ਅਪਨੀ ਤਿਹ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਸਭ ਹੂ ਕਹੀ ਸੁਨਾਇ ॥੨੩੫੭॥
apanee apanee tih brithaa sabh hoo kahee sunaae |2357|When Draupadi asked all this affectionately, then everyone related his/her story.2357.
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

ਜਗਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਜੁਧਿਸਟਰ ਕੋ ਮਨ ਭੀਤਰ ਕਉਰਨ ਕੋਪ ਬਸਾਯੋ ॥
jag nihaar judhisattar ko man bheetar kauran kop basaayo |Seeing Yudhishthara's Yagya, the Kauravas felt anger in their hearts.
ਪੰਡੁ ਕੈ ਪੁਤ੍ਰਨ ਜਗ ਕੀਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਤੇ ਇਨ ਕੋ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਜਸੁ ਛਾਯੋ ॥
pandd kai putran jag keeyo tih te in ko jag mai jas chhaayo |Seeing the Yajna of Yudhishtar, Kauravas got angry in their mind and said, “Because of the performance of Yajna by Pandavas, their fame has spread throughout the world
ਐਸੋ ਨ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਖੈ ਹਮਰੋ ਜਸੁ ਹੋਤ ਭਯੋ ਕਹਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
aaiso na lok bikhai hamaro jas hot bhayo keh sayaam sunaayo |This kind of success did not happen to us in the world. (The poet) recites Shyam (by saying).
ਭੀਖਮ ਤੇ ਸੁਤ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇ ਸੁ ਨਹੀ ਹਮ ਤੇ ਐਸੋ ਜਗ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਆਯੋ ॥੨੩੫੮॥
bheekham te sut sooraj te su nahee ham te aaiso jag hvai aayo |2358|We have the mighty heroes like Bhishma and Karan with us, even then we could not perform such a Yajna and we could not be renowned in the world.”2358.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਸਿਕੰਧ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਾਵਤਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਜੁਧਿਸਟਰ ਰਾਜਸੂਇ ਜਗ ਸੰਪੂਰਨੰ ॥

mai ik dait huto tin aae kai sundar ek sabhaa su banaaee |There was a demon named Mai
ਲਜਤ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੇ ਅਮਰਾਵਤਿ ਐਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਇਹ ਭੂਮਹਿ ਆਈ ॥
lajat hoe rahe amaraavat aaisee prabhaa ih bhoomeh aaee |He, on reaching there constructed such a Court-Building, on seeing which the abode of gods felt shy
ਬੈਠਿ ਬਿਰਾਜਤ ਭੂਪ ਤਹਾ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਲੀਏ ਸੰਗ ਚਾਰੋ ਈ ਭਾਈ ॥
baitth biraajat bhoop tahaa jadubeer lee sang chaaro ee bhaaee |Yudhishtar was seated there alongwith his four brothers and Krihsna,
ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਤਿਹ ਆਭਹਿ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਬਰਨੀ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਈ ॥੨੩੫੯॥
sayaam bhanai tih aabheh kee upamaa mukh te baranee nahee jaaee |2359|The poet Shyam says that that elegance was indescribable.2359
ਨੀਰ ਢਰੇ ਕਹੂ ਚਾਦਰ ਛਤਨ ਛੂਟਤ ਹੈ ਕਹੂ ਠਉਰ ਫੁਹਾਰੇ ॥
neer dtare kahoo chaadar chhatan chhoottat hai kahoo tthaur fuhaare |In the Court-construction, somewhere there were fountains of water on the roofs and somewhere the water was flowing
ਮਲ ਭਿਰੈ ਕਹੂ ਮਤ ਕਰੀ ਕਹੂ ਨਾਚਤ ਬੇਸਯਨ ਕੇ ਸੁ ਅਖਾਰੇ ॥
mal bhirai kahoo mat karee kahoo naachat besayan ke su akhaare |Somewhere the wrestlers were fighting, and somewhere the intoxicated elephants were clashing among themselves, somewhere the female dancers were dancing
ਬਾਜ ਲਰੈ ਕਹੂ ਸਾਜ ਸਜੈ ਭਟ ਛਾਜਤ ਹੈ ਅਤਿ ਡੀਲ ਡਿਲਾਰੇ ॥
baaj larai kahoo saaj sajai bhatt chhaajat hai at ddeel ddilaare |Somewhere the horses were colliding and somewhere sturdy and shapely warriors looked splendid
ਰਾਜਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਤਹਾ ਜਿਮ ਤਾਰਨ ਮੈ ਸਸਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥੨੩੬੦॥
raajat sree brijanaath tahaa jim taaran mai sas sayaam uchaare |2360|Krishna was there like moon among the stars.2360.
ਜੋਤਿ ਲਸੈ ਕਹੂ ਬਜ੍ਰਨ ਕੀ ਕਹੂ ਲਾਲ ਲਗੇ ਛਬਿ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
jot lasai kahoo bajran kee kahoo laal lage chhab mandir paavai |Somewhere the splendour of stones and somewhere of jewels was seen
ਨਾਗਨ ਕੋ ਪੁਰ ਲੋਕ ਪੁਰੀ ਸੁਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਜਿਹ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਵਾਵੈ ॥
naagan ko pur lok puree sur dekh prabhaa jih sees nivaavai |Seeing the elegance of precious stones, the abodes of gods bowed there heads
ਰੀਝਿ ਰਹੇ ਜਿਹ ਦੇਖਿ ਚਤੁਰਮੁਖ ਹੇਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਸਿਵ ਸੋ ਲਲਚਾਵੈ ॥
reejh rahe jih dekh chaturamukh her prabhaa siv so lalachaavai |Seeing the magnificence of that Court-Building, Brahma was getting pleased and Shiva was also allured in his mind
ਭੂਮਿ ਜਹਾ ਤਹਾ ਨੀਰ ਸੋ ਲਾਗਤ ਨੀਰ ਜਹਾ ਨਹੀ ਚੀਨਬੋ ਆਵੈ ॥੨੩੬੧॥
bhoom jahaa tahaa neer so laagat neer jahaa nahee cheenabo aavai |2361|Where there was earth, there was deception of water there, and somewhere there was water, it could not be ascertained.2361.
ਜੁਧਿਸਟਰ ਬਾਚ ਦ੍ਰਜੋਧਨ ਸੋ ॥
judhisattar baach drajodhan so |Speech of Yudhishtar addressed to Duryodhana:

ਐਸੀ ਸਭਾ ਰਚਿ ਕੈ ਸੁ ਜੁਧਿਸਟਰ ਅੰਧ ਕੋ ਬਾਲਕੁ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥
aaisee sabhaa rach kai su judhisattar andh ko baalak bol patthaayo |After the construction of this Court-Building, Yudhistar invited Duryodhana
ਸੂਰਜ ਕੋ ਸੁਤ ਸੰਗ ਲੀਏ ਅਰੁ ਭੀਖਮ ਮਾਨ ਭਰਿਯੋ ਸੋਊ ਆਯੋ ॥
sooraj ko sut sang lee ar bheekham maan bhariyo soaoo aayo |He reached there proudly alongwith Bhishma and Karan,
ਭੂਮਿ ਜਹਾ ਹੁਤੀ ਤਾਹਿ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਜਲ ਬਾਰਿ ਹੁਤੋ ਜਹ ਭੂਮਿ ਜਨਾਯੋ ॥
bhoom jahaa hutee taeh lakhiyo jal baar huto jah bhoom janaayo |And he saw water, where there was earth and where there was water, he considered it as earth
ਜਾਇ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਪਰਿਯੋ ਜਲ ਮੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਕਛੁ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੨੩੬੨॥
jaae nisank pariyo jal mai kab sayaam kahai kachh bhed na paayo |2362|In this way, without understanding the mystery, he fell into the water.2362.
ਜਾਇ ਪਰਿਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਸਰ ਮੈ ਤਨ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਰੇ ਪੁਨਿ ਬੂਡ ਗਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
jaae pariyo tab hee sar mai tan basatr dhare pun boodd gayo hai |He fell down in the tank and with all his clothes, he became drenched
ਬੂਡਤ ਜੋ ਨਿਕਸਿਯੋ ਸੋਊ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਚਿਤ ਬਿਖੈ ਅਤਿ ਕੋਪ ਕਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
booddat jo nikasiyo soaoo bhoopat chit bikhai at kop kayo hai |When he came out after getting drowned in water, he became extremely enraged in his mind
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਭਾਰ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਕੇ ਹਿਤ ਆਂਖ ਸੋ ਭੀਮਹਿ ਭੇਦ ਦਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
kaanrah joo bhaar utaaran ke hit aankh so bheemeh bhed dayo hai |Sri Krishna beckoned Bhima with his eye to remove the load (of a previously lifted Vari).
ਸੋ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੋ ਬੋਲਿ ਉਠਿਓ ਅਰੇ ਅੰਧ ਕੇ ਅੰਧ ਹੀ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਭਯੋ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੬੩॥
so ih bhaat so bol utthio are andh ke andh hee putr bhayo hai |2363|Then Krishna hinted to Bhima with his eye, who immediately said, “the sons of blind are also blind.”2363.
ਯੌ ਜਬ ਭੀਮ ਹਸਿਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਕਉ ਤੁ ਘਨੋ ਚਿਤ ਭੀਤਰ ਭੂਪ ਰਿਸਾਯੋ ॥
yau jab bheem hasiyo tih kau tu ghano chit bheetar bhoop risaayo |When Bhima laughed, saying this, the king (Duryodhana) got extremely infuriated in his mind
ਮੋ ਕਹੁ ਪੰਡੁ ਕੇ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਹਸੈ ਅਬ ਹੀ ਬਧ ਯਾ ਕੋ ਕਰੋ ਜੀਅ ਆਯੋ ॥
mo kahu pandd ke putr hasai ab hee badh yaa ko karo jeea aayo |“The sons of Pandu are laughing over me, I shall kill Bhima just now.”
ਭੀਖਮ ਦ੍ਰੋਣ ਰਿਸੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਜੜ ਭੀਮ ਭਯੋ ਕਹ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
bheekham dron rise man mai jarr bheem bhayo kah sayaam sunaayo |Bhishma and Dronacharya were furious in their hearts, (but) Sri Krishna told them that Bhima had become a fool.
ਧਾਮਿ ਗਯੋ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਕੈ ਸੁ ਸਭਾ ਇਹ ਭੀਤਰ ਫੇਰਿ ਨ ਆਯੋ ॥੨੩੬੪॥
dhaam gayo apune fir kai su sabhaa ih bheetar fer na aayo |2364|When Bhishma and Karan also got angry, Bhima became fearful and ran away to his home and did not return.2364.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਾਵਤਾਰੇ ਦੁਰਜੋਧਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੇਖਿ ਧਾਮਿ ਗਏ ਧਯਾਇ ਸਮਾਪਤੰ ॥
