ਕਹਤ ਦੈਤਜਾ ਹਮ ਹੀ ਬਰਿ ਹੈਂ ॥
kahat daitajaa ham hee bar hain |The daughters of the giants started saying that we are the same
ਦੇਵ ਸੁਤਾ ਭਾਖੈ ਹਮ ਕਰਿ ਹੈਂ ॥
dev sutaa bhaakhai ham kar hain |And the daughters of the gods say we will marry.
ਜਛ ਕਿੰਨ੍ਰਜਾ ਕਹਿ ਹਮ ਲੈ ਹੈਂ ॥
jachh kinrajaa keh ham lai hain |Yakshas and kinnars say that we will get,
ਨਾਤਰ ਪਿਯ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਿਯ ਦੈ ਹੈਂ ॥੨੨॥
naatar piy kaaran jiy dai hain |22|Otherwise, they will give their lives for the beloved. 22.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਜਛ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬੀ ਕਿੰਨ੍ਰਨੀ ਲਖਿ ਛਬਿ ਗਈ ਬਿਕਾਇ ॥
jachh gandhrabee kinranee lakh chhab gee bikaae |Yaksha, Gandharb and Kinnar women were sold after seeing his face.
ਸੁਰੀ ਆਸੁਰੀ ਨਾਗਨੀ ਨੈਨਨ ਰਹੀ ਲਗਾਇ ॥੨੩॥
suree aasuree naaganee nainan rahee lagaae |23|The wives of gods, giants, snakes (stood still) by putting nainas with nainas. 23.

chauapee |twenty four:
ਇਕ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਰੂਪ ਬਿਸਨ ਕੋ ਧਰਾ ॥
eik triy roop bisan ko dharaa |A woman assumed the form of Vishnu
ਏਕਨ ਰੂਪ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਕੋ ਕਰਾ ॥
ekan roop brahamaa ko karaa |And one took the form of Brahma.
ਇਕ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਭੇਸ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਕੋ ਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
eik triy bhes rudr ko dhaariyo |A woman took the form of Rudra
ਇਕਨ ਧਰਮ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਸੁਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੨੪॥
eikan dharam ko roop sudhaariyo |24|And one created the form of Dharma Raj. 24.
ਏਕੈ ਭੇਸ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੋ ਕਿਯਾ ॥
ekai bhes indr ko kiyaa |One disguised as Indra
ਏਕਨ ਰੂਪ ਸੂਰਜ ਕੋ ਲਿਯਾ ॥
ekan roop sooraj ko liyaa |And one took the form of the sun.
ਏਕਨ ਭੇਸ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੌ ਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
ekan bhes chandr kau dhaariyo |One disguised as the moon,
ਮਨਹੁ ਮਦਨ ਕੌ ਮਾਨ ਉਤਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੨੫॥
manahu madan kau maan utaariyo |25|As if Kam Dev's pride has been broken. 25.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥
arril |adamant:
ਸਾਤ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਚਲੀ ਭੇਸ ਇਹ ਧਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥
saat kumaaree chalee bhes ih dhaar kai |The seven virgins took this form
ਵਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਹ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀਯਾ ਸੁਧਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥
vaa raajaa kah darasan deeyaa sudhaar kai |And gave that king good vision.
ਸਾਤ ਸੁਤਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹਮਰੀ ਏ ਬਰੁ ਅਬੈ ॥
saat sutaa raajaa hamaree e bar abai |(and said) O king! Marry these seven daughters of ours now
ਹੋ ਰਾਜ ਪਾਟ ਪੁਨਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਜੀਤਿ ਖਲ ਦਲ ਸਭੈ ॥੨੬॥
ho raaj paatt pun karahu jeet khal dal sabhai |26|And then conquer all the enemy's parties and break the kingdom. 26.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਜਬ ਰਾਜੈ ਉਨ ਰੂਪ ਨਿਹਰਾ ॥
jab raajai un roop niharaa |When the king saw their form
ਸਟਪਟਾਇ ਪਾਇਨ ਪਰ ਪਰਾ ॥
sattapattaae paaein par paraa |And immediately fell on his feet.
ਧਕ ਧਕ ਅਧਿਕ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਤਿਹ ਭਈ ॥
dhak dhak adhik hridai tih bhee |His heart started pounding
ਚਟਪਟ ਸਕਲ ਬਿਸਰ ਸੁਧਿ ਗਈ ॥੨੭॥
chattapatt sakal bisar sudh gee |27|And suddenly (his) senses were lost. 27.
ਧੀਰਜ ਧਰਾ ਜਬੈ ਸੁਧਿ ਆਈ ॥
dheeraj dharaa jabai sudh aaee |When he regained consciousness, he was patient
ਪੁਨਿ ਪਾਇਨ ਲਪਟਾਨਾ ਧਾਈ ॥
pun paaein lapattaanaa dhaaee |And then proceeded to grasp (their) feet.
ਧੰਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਭਾਗ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਭਏ ॥
dhan dhan bhaag hamaare bhe |(Also said) I am blessed
ਸਭ ਦੇਵਨ ਦਰਸਨ ਮੁਹਿ ਦਏ ॥੨੮॥
sabh devan darasan muhi de |28|All the gods have given me darshan. 28.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਪਾਪੀ ਤੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਭਯੋ ਚਰਨ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ਲਾਗ ॥
paapee te dharamee bhayo charan tihaare laag |(I) have become righteous from a sinner by clinging to your feet.
ਰੰਕ ਹੁਤੋ ਰਾਜਾ ਭਯੋ ਧੰਨ੍ਯ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਭਾਗ ॥੨੯॥
rank huto raajaa bhayo dhanay hamaare bhaag |29|(I was) rank (nirdhan), (now) have become a king. (Truly) I am blessed. 29.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਮੈ ਸੁਈ ਕਰੌ ਜੁ ਤੁਮ ਮੁਹਿ ਭਾਖੌ ॥
mai suee karau ju tum muhi bhaakhau |I will do whatever you tell me.
ਚਰਨਨ ਧ੍ਯਾਨ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ਰਾਖੌ ॥
charanan dhayaan tihaare raakhau |(I will always) meditate at your feet.
ਨਾਥ ਸਨਾਥ ਅਨਾਥਹਿ ਕਿਯਾ ॥
naath sanaath anaatheh kiyaa |O Nath! (You have made me) an orphan.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਦਰਸਨ ਮੁਹਿ ਦਿਯਾ ॥੩੦॥
kripaa karee darasan muhi diyaa |30|Please give me darshan. 30.
ਯੌ ਬਚ ਸੁਨਿ ਲੋਪਿਤ ਤੇ ਭਈ ॥
yau bach sun lopit te bhee |Hearing this (of the king) they disappeared
ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕਰ ਸਾਤ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਗਈ ॥
hvai kar saat kumaaree gee |And (then) seven virgins came.
ਚਲਿ ਕਰਿ ਤੀਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕੇ ਆਈ ॥
chal kar teer nripat ke aaee |She went and came to the king
ਕਹਿਯੋ ਆਜੁ ਮੁਹਿ ਬਰੋ ਇਹਾਈ ॥੩੧॥
kahiyo aaj muhi baro ihaaee |31|And started saying that marry us here today. 31.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਯੌ ਜਬ ਤਿਨ ਉਚਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਲਹਾ ਅਗ੍ਯਾਨ ॥
yau jab tin uchare bachan kachh na lahaa agayaan |When they (the virgins) said these words, (that) fool could not understand anything.
ਤਿਹ ਕਹ ਤੁਰਤ ਬਰਤ ਭਯੋ ਬਚ ਕਰਿ ਸੁਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ॥੩੨॥
tih kah turat barat bhayo bach kar suran pramaan |32|Accepting the word of the gods as valid, he immediately married them. 32.

ਤਬ ਤਿਹ ਠੌਰ ਬਧਾਈ ਬਾਜੀ ॥
tab tih tthauar badhaaee baajee |Then at that place at the hour of congratulation
ਸੁਰੀ ਆਸੁਰੀ ਜਹਾ ਬਿਰਾਜੀ ॥
suree aasuree jahaa biraajee |Where the wives of gods and giants were sitting.
