ਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਤਿਹੂੰ ਪੁਰ ਮਾਨੈ ॥੩੩੨॥
roop anoop tihoon pur maanai |332|She considered all of them as Cupid-incarnate and believed in her mind that no one equaled them in beauty.332.
ਧਾਇ ਕਹਯੋ ਰਘੁਰਾਇ ਭਏ ਤਿਹ ॥
dhaae kahayo raghuraae bhe tih |Where Rama was, (there she) ran and reached (and thus said).
ਜੈਸ ਨ੍ਰਿਲਾਜ ਕਹੈ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਕਿਹ ॥
jais nrilaaj kahai na koaoo kih |Coming before Ram, without feeling ashamed, she said :
ਹਉ ਅਟਕੀ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਛਬਿ ਕੇ ਬਰ ॥
hau attakee tumaree chhab ke bar |(She started saying-) O dear! I am infatuated with your beauty.
ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗੀ ਰੰਗਏ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਦੂਪਰ ॥੩੩੩॥
rang rangee range drig doopar |333|“I have halted here because of your beauty and my mind is dyed with the dye of your intoxicated eyes.”333.

ਜਾਹ ਤਹਾ ਜਹ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਿ ਹਮਾਰੇ ॥
jaah tahaa jah bhraat hamaare |Go to where my younger brother is sitting,
ਵੈ ਰਿਝਹੈ ਲਖ ਨੈਨ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ॥
vai rijhahai lakh nain tihaare |“You go to the place of my brother who will be bewitched on seeing your beautiful eyes
ਸੰਗ ਸੀਆ ਅਵਿਲੋਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਸੋਦਰ ॥
sang seea avilok krisodar |With me is Sita with thin skin,
ਕੈਸੇ ਕੈ ਰਾਖ ਸਕੋ ਤੁਮ ਕਉ ਘਰਿ ॥੩੩੪॥
kaise kai raakh sako tum kau ghar |334|“You can see that with me there is Sita of beautiful waist and in such a situation how can I keep you in my house.334.
ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਹ ਮੋਹ ਤਜਯੋ ਮਨ ॥
maat pitaa kah moh tajayo man |(Sita who) has left the attachment of mother and father from her mind
ਸੰਗ ਫਿਰੀ ਹਮਰੇ ਬਨ ਹੀ ਬਨ ॥
sang firee hamare ban hee ban |“She has abandoned the attachment towards her parents and is roaming with me in the forest
ਤਾਹਿ ਤਜੌ ਕਸ ਕੈ ਸੁਨਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ॥
taeh tajau kas kai sun sundar |O beauty! How can I leave him?
ਜਾਹੁ ਤਹਾ ਜਹਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਸੋਦਰਿ ॥੩੩੫॥
jaahu tahaa jahaa bhraat krisodar |335|“O beautiful lady! How can I forsake her, you go there where my brother is sitting.”335.
ਜਾਤ ਭਈ ਸੁਨ ਬੈਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਤਹ ॥
jaat bhee sun bain triyaa tah |Hearing (this) the woman went there,
ਬੈਠ ਹੁਤੇ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਜਤੀ ਜਹ ॥
baitth hute ranadheer jatee jah |Hearing these words of Ram, that lady Surpanakha went there were Lakshman was sitting.
ਸੋ ਨ ਬਰੈ ਅਤਿ ਰੋਸ ਭਰੀ ਤਬ ॥
so na barai at ros bharee tab |At that time (Shurpanakha) was filled with anger because of (Lachman's) not writing,
ਨਾਕ ਕਟਾਇ ਗਈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੋ ਸਭ ॥੩੩੬॥
naak kattaae gee grih ko sabh |336|When he also refused to wed her, then she was filled with great rage and went to her home after getting her nose chopped.336.

ਲੰਕਸ ਧੀਰ ਬਜੀਰ ਬੁਲਾਏ ॥
lankas dheer bajeer bulaae |Ravana called (and with their advice) patient ministers.
ਦੂਖਨ ਔ ਖਰ ਦਈਤ ਪਠਾਏ ॥੩੩੭॥
dookhan aau khar deet patthaae |337|The king of Lanka called his ministers for consultations and sent two demons Khar and Dushan for killing ram etc. 337.
ਸਾਜ ਸਨਾਹ ਸੁਬਾਹ ਦੁਰੰ ਗਤ ॥
saaj sanaah subaah duran gat |Sundar walked with hard armor on his arms.
ਬਾਜਤ ਬਾਜ ਚਲੇ ਗਜ ਗਜਤ ॥
baajat baaj chale gaj gajat |Wearing their armours all the long-armed warriors marched forward with the resounding of musical instruments and the roaring of elephants.
ਮਾਰ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਸੋ ਦਿਸ ਕੂਕੇ ॥
maar hee maar daso dis kooke |There was a sound of beating in ten directions.
ਸਾਵਨ ਕੀ ਘਟ ਜਯੋਂ ਘੁਰ ਢੂਕੇ ॥੩੩੮॥
saavan kee ghatt jayon ghur dtooke |338|There was noise of “kill, kill” from all the four sides and the army gushed forward like the clouds of the month of sawan.338.
ਗਜਤ ਹੈ ਰਣਬੀਰ ਮਹਾ ਮਨ ॥
gajat hai ranabeer mahaa man |Warriors of great endurance roared in the battle
ਤਜਤ ਹੈਂ ਨਹੀ ਭੂਮਿ ਅਯੋਧਨ ॥
tajat hain nahee bhoom ayodhan |The mighty warriors thundered and stood firmly on the ground.
ਛਾਜਤ ਹੈ ਚਖ ਸ੍ਰੋਣਤ ਸੋ ਸਰ ॥
chhaajat hai chakh sronat so sar |Whose nains were adorned like pools of blood
ਨਾਦਿ ਕਰੈਂ ਕਿਲਕਾਰ ਭਯੰਕਰ ॥੩੩੯॥
naad karain kilakaar bhayankar |339|The pools of blood flourished and the warriors raised terrible shrieks.339.

ਰਨਿ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਬਿਰਚਹਿਗੇ ॥
ran raaj kumaar birachahige |Ran will star Raj Kumar (Ram and Laxman).
ਸਰ ਸੇਲ ਸਰਾਸਨ ਨਚਹਿਗੇ ॥
sar sel saraasan nachahige |When the princes will begin the battle, there will be the dance of lances and shafts.
ਸੁ ਬਿਰੁਧ ਅਵਧਿ ਸੁ ਗਾਜਹਿਗੇ ॥
su birudh avadh su gaajahige |(The warriors) will roar against Rama (Avadhisu).
ਰਣ ਰੰਗਹਿ ਰਾਮ ਬਿਰਾਜਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੪੦॥
ran rangeh raam biraajahige |340|The warriors will roar on seeing the opposing forces and Ram will be absorbed in the fighting mood.340.
ਸਰ ਓਘ ਪ੍ਰਓਘ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੈਗੇ ॥
sar ogh progh prahaaraige |will shoot as many arrows as possible,
ਰਣਿ ਰੰਗ ਅਭੀਤ ਬਿਹਾਰੈਗੇ ॥
ran rang abheet bihaaraige |There will be showers of arrows and the fighters will roam in the battlefield fearlessly.
ਸਰ ਸੂਲ ਸਨਾਹਰਿ ਛੁਟਹਿਗੇ ॥
sar sool sanaahar chhuttahige |Arrows, tridents and khargs (Sanahari) will go
ਦਿਤ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਪਰਾ ਪਰ ਲੁਟਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੪੧॥
dit putr paraa par luttahige |341|The tridents and arrows will be struck and the sons of demons will roll in dust.341.
ਸਰ ਸੰਕ ਅਸੰਕਤ ਬਾਹਹਿਗੇ ॥
sar sank asankat baahahige |They will shoot arrows in fear of doubt
ਬਿਨੁ ਭੀਤ ਭਯਾ ਦਲ ਦਾਹਹਿਗੇ ॥
bin bheet bhayaa dal daahahige |They will discharge arrows undoubtedly and destroy the forces of the enemy.
ਛਿਤਿ ਲੁਥ ਬਿਲੁਥ ਬਿਥਾਰਹਿਗੇ ॥
chhit luth biluth bithaarahige |Lots and lots will scatter on the earth
ਤਰੁ ਸਣੈ ਸਮੂਲ ਉਪਾਰਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੪੨॥
tar sanai samool upaarahige |342|The corpses will be scattered on the earth and the great warriors will uproot the trees.342.
