ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਕੌ ਮੁਖ ਮੈ ਨ ਦਿਖਾਯੋ ॥
rav sas kau mukh mai na dikhaayo |I did not even face the sun and the moon
ਪਿਯ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਮੋ ਕਹ ਭਾਯੋ ॥੭॥
piy bin kachhoo na mo kah bhaayo |7|And I did not find anyone good without the Beloved. 7.
ਪਤਿ ਤਿਹ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਤਹਾ ਤੁਮ ਜੈਯਹੁ ॥
pat tih kahiyo tahaa tum jaiyahu |(Then) the husband said that you go there
ਯਾ ਕੌ ਬਾਗ ਦੇਖਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਐਯਹੁ ॥
yaa kau baag dekh fir aaiyahu |And came back after seeing its garden.
ਬੀਤੀ ਰੈਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਜਬ ਭਈ ॥
beetee rain praat jab bhee |When the night passed and the morning came
ਤਿਸੀ ਖਾਨ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਮੈ ਗਈ ॥੮॥
tisee khaan ke ghar mai gee |8|(So that woman) went to that Khan's house.8.
ਤਾ ਹੀ ਬਾਗ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਗਯੋ ॥
taa hee baag niranjan gayo |In that garden, Niranjan Rai,
ਪਾਵਤ ਤਹਾ ਨਾਰਿ ਨਹਿ ਭਯੋ ॥
paavat tahaa naar neh bhayo |But did not see the woman there.
ਖੋਜਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਤਹਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਪਾਈ ॥
khojat adhik tahaa triy paaee |After further searching, the woman was found there
ਜਹਾ ਹਵੇਲੀ ਖਾਨ ਬਨਾਈ ॥੯॥

ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਨਿਕਸੀ ਤਿਹ ਖਾਨ ਸੌ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਇ ॥
triy nikasee tih khaan sau at hee bhog kamaae |(That) woman came out after having indulged a lot with that Khan.
ਬਦਨ ਲਾਗਿ ਪਤਿ ਹੀ ਗਯੋ ਸੰਕਿ ਰਹੀ ਮੁਖ ਨ੍ਯਾਇ ॥੧੦॥

ਮੁਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਸੰਗ ਨ ਮੋਰੇ ਭਈ ॥

ਮੋ ਕੌ ਪਕਰਿ ਪਠਾਨਨ ਲੀਨੋ ॥
mo kau pakar patthaanan leeno |was captured by the Pathans
ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਬਹੁ ਮੋ ਸੌ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
kaam kel bahu mo sau keeno |And played with me a lot.
ਤਬ ਬਲ ਚਲੈ ਤੌ ਯਾ ਕੌ ਮਾਰੋ ॥
tab bal chalai tau yaa kau maaro |(Now if) your inhabitants depart, kill them,
ਨਹਿ ਕਾਜੀ ਪੈ ਜਾਇ ਪੁਕਾਰੋ ॥੧੨॥
neh kaajee pai jaae pukaaro |12|Otherwise go to the Qazi and call. 12.
ਯਾ ਮੈ ਚੂਕ ਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਈ ॥
yaa mai chook na teree bhee |(Husband said) There is nothing wrong with you.
ਪੈਡਿ ਚੂਕਿ ਪਰ ਘਰ ਮੈ ਗਈ ॥
paidd chook par ghar mai gee |Having lost your way, you went to someone else's house.
ਪੈਠਾਨਨ ਤੋ ਕੌ ਗਹਿ ਲੀਨੋ ॥
paitthaanan to kau geh leeno |The Pathans caught you
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤੋਰੇ ਸੰਗ ਕੀਨੋ ॥੧੩॥
kaam bhog tore sang keeno |13|And had sex with you. 13.
ਭਲੋ ਭਯੋ ਤੂ ਘਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਅਈ ॥
bhalo bhayo too ghar fir aee |It is good that you have returned home.
ਪਕਰਿ ਤੁਰਕਨੀ ਕਰਿ ਨਹਿ ਲਈ ॥
pakar turakanee kar neh lee |(Thankfully, they did not make Turkani by catching you).
ਜੌ ਕੋਊ ਧਾਮ ਮਲੇਛਨ ਆਵੈ ॥
jau koaoo dhaam malechhan aavai |Whoever comes to Malechha's house,
ਧਰਮ ਸਹਿਤ ਫਿਰਿ ਜਾਨ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੧੪॥
dharam sahit fir jaan na paavai |14|Then he does not return with (his) religion. 14.
ਤੁਮ ਪਤਿ ਮਾਥ ਨ ਅਪਨੋ ਧੁਨੋ ॥
tum pat maath na apano dhuno |(Music said) O Pati Dev! Do not bow your head
ਮੇਰੀ ਸਕਲ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਕਹ ਸੁਨੋ ॥
meree sakal brithaa kah suno |And hear all my birth.
ਸਕਲ ਕਥਾ ਮੈ ਤੁਮੈ ਸੁਨਾਊ ॥
sakal kathaa mai tumai sunaaoo |Let me tell you the whole story.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਤੁਮਰੋ ਭ੍ਰਮਹਿ ਮਿਟਾਊ ॥੧੫॥
taa te tumaro bhrameh mittaaoo |15|I remove your illusion with that. 15.
ਜਬ ਮੈ ਭੂਲ ਧਾਮ ਤਿਹ ਗਈ ॥
jab mai bhool dhaam tih gee |When I forgot and went to their house
ਤਬਹਿ ਪਕਰਿ ਤੁਰਕਨ ਮੁਹਿ ਲਈ ॥
tabeh pakar turakan muhi lee |Only then did the Turks capture me.
ਤਬ ਮੈ ਤਿਨ ਸੋ ਐਸ ਉਚਾਰੋ ॥
tab mai tin so aais uchaaro |Then I said to them thus,
ਤੁਮੈ ਨ ਸੂਝਤ ਨਾਥ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥੧੬॥
tumai na soojhat naath hamaaro |16|You do not know my husband. 16.
ਐਸੇ ਕਹਹਿ ਹੋਹਿ ਤੂ ਤੁਰਕਨਿ ॥
aaise kaheh hohi too turakan |(Me) started saying like this that you are going to be a Turk.
ਮੋ ਕੌ ਲਗੇ ਲੋਗ ਮਿਲਿ ਘੁਰਕਨਿ ॥
mo kau lage log mil ghurakan |All those people started snoring me together.
ਕੈ ਤੂ ਹੋਹਿ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
kai too hohi hamaaree naaree |Either you become our lady,
ਨਾਤਰ ਦੇਤਿ ਠੌਰਿ ਤੁਹਿ ਮਾਰੀ ॥੧੭॥
naatar det tthauar tuhi maaree |17|Otherwise they will kill you here. 17.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਤਬ ਮੈ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਚਰਿਤ ਭਾਤਿ ਐਸੋ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
tab mai taa sau charit bhaat aaiso kiyo |Then I behaved like this with them.
ਨਿਜੁ ਭਗ ਤੇ ਨਖ ਸਾਥਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਸ੍ਰੋਨਤ ਦਯੋ ॥
nij bhag te nakh saath kaadt sronat dayo |I hit my fingernails and drew blood.
ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਅਲਿੰਗਨ ਖਾਨ ਸਾਥ ਹਸਿ ਮੈ ਕਰਿਯੋ ॥
pratham alingan khaan saath has mai kariyo |First I laughed and hugged Khan.
ਹੋ ਬਹੁਰੌ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਬਚਨ ਤਾਹਿ ਮੈ ਉਚਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੮॥
ho bahurau mukh te bachan taeh mai uchariyo |18|Then I said this thing to him. 18.
ਰਿਤੁ ਆਈ ਹੈ ਮੋਹਿ ਸੁ ਮੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਜਾਤ ਹੋ ॥
rit aaee hai mohi su mai grih jaat ho |I have my period, so I go home.
