ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਚੜ੍ਯੋ ਅਸੰਭ ਜਗਤ ਕਵਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਬਾਚ ਹੈ ॥
kalijug charrayo asanbh jagat kavan bidh baach hai |

The impossible Iron Age has come

ਰੰਗਹੁ ਏਕਹਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਤਬ ਛੁਟਿ ਹੋ ਕਲਿ ਕਾਲ ਤੇ ॥੧੧੮॥
rangahu ekeh rang tab chhutt ho kal kaal te |118|

In what way the world will be saved?’ till the time they are not imbued in the love of the one Lord, upto that time there will be no safety from the impact of the Iron Age.118.

ਹੰਸਾ ਛੰਦ ॥

HANSA STANZA

ਜਹ ਤਹ ਬਢਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਾ ਕਰਮ ॥
jah tah badtaa paap kaa karam |

Where the karma of sin has increased a lot

ਜਗ ਤੇ ਘਟਾ ਧਰਮ ਕਾ ਭਰਮ ॥੧੧੯॥
jag te ghattaa dharam kaa bharam |119|

The sinful acts increased here and there and the religious karmas ended in the world.119.

ਪਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਜਗਿ ਭਇਓ ॥
paap prachur jah tah jag bheio |

Where in the world is there sin?

ਪੰਖਨ ਧਾਰ ਧਰਮ ਉਡਿ ਗਇਓ ॥੧੨੦॥
pankhan dhaar dharam udd geio |120|

The sin increased to a large extent in the world and the dharma took wings and flew away.120.

ਨਈ ਨਈ ਹੋਨ ਲਗੀ ਨਿਤ ਬਾਤ ॥
nee nee hon lagee nit baat |

Every day something new is happening.

ਜਹ ਤਹ ਬਾਢਿ ਚਲਿਓ ਉਤਪਾਤ ॥੧੨੧॥
jah tah baadt chalio utapaat |121|

New things began to happen always and there were misfortunes here and there.121.

ਸਬ ਜਗਿ ਚਲਤ ਔਰ ਹੀ ਕਰਮ ॥
sab jag chalat aauar hee karam |

The whole world is moving in more karma.

ਜਹ ਤਹ ਘਟ ਗਇਓ ਧਰਾ ਤੇ ਧਰਮ ॥੧੨੨॥
jah tah ghatt geio dharaa te dharam |122|

The whole world began to perform the contrary karmas and the universal religion ended from the world.122.

ਮਾਲਤੀ ਛੰਦ ॥
maalatee chhand |

MAALTI STANZA

ਜਹ ਤਹ ਦੇਖੀਅਤ ॥
jah tah dekheeat |

wherever we look,

ਤਹ ਤਹ ਪੇਖੀਅਤ ॥
tah tah pekheeat |

There (sin) is seen there.

ਸਕਲ ਕੁਕਰਮੀ ॥
sakal kukaramee |

All are criminals,

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਧਰਮੀ ॥੧੨੩॥
kahoon na dharamee |123|

Wherever you see, there are only people committing wicked deeds and no one who accepts religion is seen.123.

ਜਹ ਤਹ ਗੁਨੀਅਤ ॥
jah tah guneeat |

Wherever we consider,

ਤਹ ਤਹ ਸੁਨੀਅਤ ॥
tah tah suneeat |

We hear (the talk of iniquity) there.

ਸਬ ਜਗ ਪਾਪੀ ॥
sab jag paapee |

The whole world is sinful

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਜਾਪੀ ॥੧੨੪॥
kahoon na jaapee |124|

Upto the limit where we can see and listen, the whole world appears as sinner.124.

ਸਕਲ ਕੁਕਰਮੰ ॥
sakal kukaraman |

All men are criminals,

ਭਜਿ ਗਇਓ ਧਰਮੰ ॥
bhaj geio dharaman |

Religion has fled.

ਜਗ ਨ ਸੁਨੀਅਤ ॥
jag na suneeat |

(no one anywhere) listens to the yagya,

ਹੋਮ ਨ ਗੁਨੀਅਤ ॥੧੨੫॥
hom na guneeat |125|

Because of vicious karmas, the dharma has fled away and no one talks about the Havana and yajna.125.

ਸਕਲ ਕੁਕਰਮੀ ॥
sakal kukaramee |

All (people) have bad deeds,

ਜਗੁ ਭਇਓ ਅਧਰਮੀ ॥
jag bheio adharamee |

All have become wicked and unrighteous

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਪੂਜਾ ॥
kahoon na poojaa |

There is no worship anywhere,

ਬਸ ਰਹ੍ਯੋ ਦੂਜਾ ॥੧੨੬॥
bas rahayo doojaa |126|

There is no meditation anywhere and only the duality resides in their minds.126.

ਅਤਿ ਮਾਲਤੀ ਛੰਦ ॥
at maalatee chhand |

ATMAALTI STANZA

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਅਰਚਾ ॥
kahoon na poojaa kahoon na arachaa |

There is neither worship nor archa anywhere.

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਸ੍ਰੁਤਿ ਧੁਨਿ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨ ਚਰਚਾ ॥
kahoon na srut dhun sinmrit na charachaa |

There is no worship and offerings anywhere

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਹੋਮੰ ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਦਾਨੰ ॥
kahoon na homan kahoon na daanan |

There is no home anywhere, nor charity.

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਸੰਜਮ ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਇਸਨਾਨੰ ॥੧੨੭॥
kahoon na sanjam kahoon na isanaanan |127|

There is no discussion about Vedas and Smritis anywhere there is no hom and charity anywhere and nowhere the restraint and bath are seen.127.

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਬੇਦੰ ॥
kahoon na charachaa kahoon na bedan |

There is no (religion) discussion anywhere, nor Veda (text).

ਕਹੂੰ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਨ ਕਹੂੰ ਕਤੇਬੰ ॥
kahoon nivaaj na kahoon kateban |

Somewhere the prayer is not performed, nor is the reading of the scriptures.

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਤਸਬੀ ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਮਾਲਾ ॥
kahoon na tasabee kahoon na maalaa |

Nowhere is (any) tasbi (turned) nor rosary.

ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਹੋਮੰ ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਜ੍ਵਾਲਾ ॥੧੨੮॥
kahoon na homan kahoon na jvaalaa |128|

No discussion about Vedas, no prayer no Semitic scriptures, no rosary and no sacrificial fire are seen anywhere.128.

ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਕਰਮੰ ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਧਰਮੰ ॥
aaur hee karaman aaur hee dharaman |

There are other (types) of karma and other (types of) religion.

ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਭਾਵੰ ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਮਰਮੰ ॥
aaur hee bhaavan aaur hee maraman |

Others (types) have meanings and others (types) are only bhed ('Maram').

ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਰੀਤਾ ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਚਰਚਾ ॥
aaur hee reetaa aaur hee charachaa |

There are other (types of) rituals and other (types) of discussion.

ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਰੀਤੰ ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਅਰਚਾ ॥੧੨੯॥
aaur hee reetan aaur hee arachaa |129|

The contrary religious actions, feelings, secrets, rites, customs, discussion, worship and offerings are only visible.129.

ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਭਾਤੰ ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਬਸਤ੍ਰੰ ॥
aaur hee bhaatan aaur hee basatran |

There are other (types of) methods and other (types) of armor.

ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਅਸਤ੍ਰੰ ॥
aaur hee baanee aaur hee asatran |

Others (strings) are verses and others (strings) are astras.

ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਰੀਤਾ ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਭਾਯੰ ॥
aaur hee reetaa aaur hee bhaayan |

There are other (types) of rituals and other (types) of meaning.

ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਉਰ ਹੀ ਨ੍ਰਯਾਯੰ ॥੧੩੦॥
aaur hee raajaa aaur hee nrayaayan |130|

The strange clothes, speech, arms, weapons, rites, customs, love, king and his justice are visible.130.

ਅਭੀਰ ਛੰਦ ॥
abheer chhand |

ABHIR STANZA

ਅਤਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਅਤਿ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
at saadhoo at raajaa |

Monks and kings are doing extremes

ਕਰਨ ਲਗੇ ਦੁਰ ਕਾਜਾ ॥
karan lage dur kaajaa |

And have started doing bad deeds.
