ਛੂਹਨਿ ਸਹਸ ਅਸੁਰ ਕੀ ਸੈਨਾ ॥
chhoohan sahas asur kee sainaa |A thousand untouchable army of demons,
ਧਾਵਤ ਭਈ ਅਰੁਨ ਕਰਿ ਨੈਨਾ ॥
dhaavat bhee arun kar nainaa |She went ahead with red eyes.
ਧਾਵਤ ਕੋਪ ਅਮਿਤ ਕਰਿ ਭਏ ॥
dhaavat kop amit kar bhe |Amit (Sena Dal) got angry
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਕੇ ਖਟ ਪਟ ਉਡਿ ਗਏ ॥੭੮॥
prithavee ke khatt patt udd ge |78|And the six parts of Prithvi (became dust) flew away.78.
ਏਕੈ ਪੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਰਹਿ ਗਈ ॥
ekai pur prithavee reh gee |The earth was left as a crater.
ਖਟ ਪਟ ਹਯਨ ਪਗਨ ਉਡਿ ਗਈ ॥
khatt patt hayan pagan udd gee |Six pieces flew away with the horses' hooves.
ਜਨੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਏਕੈ ਰਚਾ ਪਯਾਰਾ ॥
jan bidh ekai rachaa payaaraa |(It seemed like this) as if the Creator had created only one hell
ਗਗਨ ਰਚੇ ਦਸ ਤੀਨਿ ਸੁਧਾਰਾ ॥੭੯॥
gagan rache das teen sudhaaraa |79|And have created thirteen heavens. 79.
ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਆਸਨ ਤੇ ਟਰਾ ॥
mahaadev aasan te ttaraa |Mahadev fell from his seat.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਤ੍ਰਸਤ ਬੂਟ ਮਹਿ ਦੁਰਾ ॥
brahamaa trasat boott meh duraa |Brahma got scared and entered the bush (meaning lotus navel).
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਬਿਸਨ ਰਨ ਅਧਿਕ ਡਰਾਨਾ ॥
nirakh bisan ran adhik ddaraanaa |Vishnu also got very scared after seeing Ran-Bhumi
ਦੁਰਾ ਸਿੰਧ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਲਜਾਨਾ ॥੮੦॥
duraa sindh ke beech lajaanaa |80|And killed the lodge and went to hide in the sea. 80.
ਕੜਾ ਕੜੀ ਮਾਚਾ ਘਮਸਾਨਾ ॥
karraa karree maachaa ghamasaanaa |A terrible war broke out
ਨਿਰਖਤ ਦੇਵ ਦੈਤ ਜਾ ਨਾਨਾ ॥
nirakhat dev dait jaa naanaa |Which was seen by many gods and giants.
ਮਹਾ ਘੋਰ ਆਹਵ ਤਹ ਪਰਾ ॥
mahaa ghor aahav tah paraa |A fierce war took place there.
ਕਾਪੀ ਭੂਮਿ ਗਗਨ ਥਰਹਰਾ ॥੮੧॥
kaapee bhoom gagan tharaharaa |81|The earth trembled and the sky trembled. 81.
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਜੁਧ ਕਾਪਾ ਕਮਲੇਸਾ ॥
nirakh judh kaapaa kamalesaa |Seeing the war, Vishnu ('Kamalesa') trembled.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਧਰਾ ਨਾਰਿ ਕਾ ਭੇਸਾ ॥
taa te dharaa naar kaa bhesaa |By doing this, he disguised himself as a woman.
ਪਰਬਤੀਸ ਲਖਿ ਡਰਾ ਲਰਾਈ ॥
parabatees lakh ddaraa laraaee |Shiva also got scared after seeing the fight
ਬਾਸਾ ਬਨ ਬਿਖੈ ਅਤਿਥ ਕਹਾਈ ॥੮੨॥
baasaa ban bikhai atith kahaaee |82|And called Jogi and settled in the forest. 82.
ਕਾਰਤਿਕੇਯ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਾ ਬਿਹੰਡਲ ॥
kaaratikey hvai rahaa bihanddal |Kartikeya became bihandal (bare or impotent).
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਛਾਡਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਗਯੋ ਕਮੰਡਲ ॥
braham chhaadd grih gayo kamanddal |Brahma left the house and hid in Kamandal.
ਪਬ ਪਿਸਾਨ ਪਗਨ ਭੇ ਤਬ ਹੀ ॥
pab pisaan pagan bhe tab hee |Since then, the mountains have been trampled under foot
ਜਾਇ ਬਸੇ ਉਤਰ ਦਿਸਿ ਸਬ ਹੀ ॥੮੩॥
jaae base utar dis sab hee |83|And all of them settled in the north direction. 83.
ਡਗੀ ਧਰਨਿ ਅੰਬਰਿ ਘਹਰਾਨਾ ॥
ddagee dharan anbar ghaharaanaa |The earth shook and the sky thundered.
ਬਾਜ ਖੁਰਨ ਤੇ ਪਬ ਪਿਸਾਨਾ ॥
baaj khuran te pab pisaanaa |The mountains were crushed by the hoofs of horses.
ਅੰਧ ਗੁਬਾਰ ਭਯੋ ਬਾਨਨ ਤਨ ॥
andh gubaar bhayo baanan tan |(With the abundance of arrows) the blind cannon was shot
ਹਾਥ ਬਿਲੋਕ੍ਯੋ ਜਾਤ ਨ ਆਪਨ ॥੮੪॥
haath bilokayo jaat na aapan |84|And his hand is not being seen. 84.
ਬਿਛੂਆ ਬਾਨ ਬਜ੍ਰ ਰਨ ਬਰਖਤ ॥
bichhooaa baan bajr ran barakhat |Scorpions, arrows, thunderbolts etc. started raining in the war
ਰਿਸਿ ਰਿਸਿ ਸੁਭਟ ਧਨੁਖ ਕਹ ਕਰਖਤ ॥
ris ris subhatt dhanukh kah karakhat |And the warriors came in anger and began to torture Dhunsha.
ਤਕਿ ਤਕਿ ਬਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਕੋਪ ਚਲਾਵੈ ॥
tak tak baan prakop chalaavai |(They) used to shoot the arrows with bound binding and full of fury,
ਭੇਦਿ ਤ੍ਰਾਨ ਤਨ ਪਰੈ ਪਰਾਵੈ ॥੮੫॥
bhed traan tan parai paraavai |85|Who used to pierce the armor ('Tran Tan') and get across.85.
ਜਬ ਹੀ ਭਏ ਅਮਿਤ ਰਣ ਜੋਧਾ ॥
jab hee bhe amit ran jodhaa |When many warriors (gathered) in the battlefield,
ਬਾਢ੍ਯੋ ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ ਕੈ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਾ ॥
baadtayo mahaa kaal kai krodhaa |So the wrath of Maha Kala increased.
ਮਹਾ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਬਿਸਿਖ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
mahaa kop kar bisikh prahaare |(He) got very angry and shot arrows
ਅਧਿਕ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਛਿਨ ਮਾਝ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ॥੮੬॥
adhik satru chhin maajh sanghaare |86|And killed a lot of enemies. 86.
ਰਕਤ ਸੰਬੂਹ ਧਰਨਿ ਤਬ ਪਰਾ ॥
rakat sanbooh dharan tab paraa |Then a lot of blood fell on the ground.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਬਹੁ ਦਾਨ੍ਵਨ ਬਪੁ ਧਰਾ ॥
taa te bahu daanvan bap dharaa |Many giants assumed bodies from him.
ਏਕ ਏਕ ਸਰ ਸਭਹਿ ਚਲਾਏ ॥
ek ek sar sabheh chalaae |(They) each shot an arrow.
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਅਸੁਰ ਅਨਿਕ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਧਾਏ ॥੮੭॥
tin te asur anik hvai dhaae |87|Many giants were born from them and fell. 87.
ਆਏ ਜਿਤਕ ਤਿਤਕ ਤਹ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
aae jitak titak tah maare |As many as came (forward), as many (the great age) killed.
ਬਹੇ ਧਰਨਿ ਪਰ ਰਕਤ ਪਨਾਰੇ ॥
bahe dharan par rakat panaare |Blood flowed on the ground.
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਅਮਿਤ ਅਸੁਰਨ ਬਪੁ ਧਰਾ ॥
tin te amit asuran bap dharaa |Innumerable giants assumed bodies from him,
ਹਮ ਤੇ ਜਾਤ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਨ ਕਰਾ ॥੮੮॥
ham te jaat bichaar na karaa |88|Those who are not considered by me. 88.
ਡਗਮਗ ਲੋਕ ਚਤੁਰਦਸ ਭਏ ॥
ddagamag lok chaturadas bhe |Fourteen people staggered
ਅਸੁਰਨ ਸਾਥ ਸਕਲ ਭਰਿ ਗਏ ॥
asuran saath sakal bhar ge |And filled with giants.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਬਿਸਨ ਸਭੈ ਡਰਪਾਨੇ ॥
brahamaa bisan sabhai ddarapaane |Brahma and Vishnu etc all got scared
ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ ਕੀ ਸਰਨਿ ਸਿਧਾਨੇ ॥੮੯॥
mahaa kaal kee saran sidhaane |89|And went for refuge (into) the great age. 89.
