ਚੇਰੀ ਬਾਚ ॥
cheree baach |The maid said:
ਮਿਲ੍ਯੋ ਬੈਦ ਮੁਹਿ ਏਕ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਰਾ ॥
milayo baid muhi ek nripaaraa |O Rajan! I have found a doctor.
ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਦਈ ਤਿਨ ਮੋਹਿ ਸੁਧਾਰਾ ॥
kriyaa dee tin mohi sudhaaraa |He has told me (a method of medicine) very well.
ਮੈ ਇਹ ਕਰੀ ਚਕਿਤਸਾ ਤਾ ਤੇ ॥
mai ih karee chakitasaa taa te |So I have done that treatment.
ਲੀਜੈ ਸਕਲ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਸੁਨਿ ਯਾ ਤੇ ॥੭॥
leejai sakal brithaa sun yaa te |7|Hear about this (from me) completely.7.
ਖਈ ਰੋਗ ਇਹ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿ ॥
khee rog ih kahiyo raaj meh |He (the doctor) told me that the king had tuberculosis.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਮਾਰਿ ਦਾਸ ਤੂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ॥
taa te maar daas too ih keh |So kill this slave.
ਕਰਿ ਮਿਮਿਯਾਈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਹਿ ਖਵਾਵੈ ॥
kar mimiyaaee nripeh khavaavai |Take out the fat (of his brain) and feed it to the king.
ਤਬ ਤਿਹ ਦੋਖ ਦੂਰ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਜਾਵੈ ॥੮॥
tab tih dokh door hvai jaavai |8|Then his sorrow will be removed. 8.
ਤਿਹ ਨਿਮਿਤ ਯਾ ਕੋ ਮੈ ਘਾਯੋ ॥
tih nimit yaa ko mai ghaayo |So I hit it
ਮਿਮਿਯਾਈ ਕੋ ਬਿਵਤ ਬਨਾਯੋ ॥
mimiyaaee ko bivat banaayo |And made a fat (removal) plan.
ਜੌ ਤੁਮ ਭਛਨ ਕਰਹੁ ਤੇ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
jau tum bhachhan karahu te keejai |If you want to eat (this fat) then should I remove it?
ਨਾਤਰ ਛਾਡਿ ਆਜੁ ਹੀ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੯॥
naatar chhaadd aaj hee deejai |9|Otherwise, leave (it) now. 9.
ਜਬ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
jab ih bhaat nripat sun paayo |When the king heard this
ਤਾਹਿ ਬੈਦਨੀ ਕਰਿ ਠਹਰਾਯੋ ॥
taeh baidanee kar tthaharaayo |So accepted him as a physician.
ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਭਲੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਕੀਨੀ ॥
man meh kahiyo bhalee bidh keenee |He started saying in his mind that Vidhata has done well
ਘਰ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਰੋਗਿਹਾ ਦੀਨੀ ॥੧੦॥
ghar meh naar rogihaa deenee |10|That it is given to the woman to cure the disease at home. 10.
ਧੰਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਕਹਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਖਾਨਾ ॥
dhan dhan keh taeh bakhaanaa |(The king) blessed him (and said that)
ਤੇਰੋ ਗੁਨ ਹਮ ਆਜੁ ਪਛਾਨਾ ॥
tero gun ham aaj pachhaanaa |I have recognized your quality today.
ਪਛਮ ਦਿਸਿ ਹਮ ਸੁਨੀ ਬਨੈਯਤ ॥
pachham dis ham sunee banaiyat |I have heard (of this kind of medicine) being made in (the countries of) the west direction.
ਹਮਰੇ ਦੇਸ ਨ ਢੂੰਡੀ ਪੈਯਤ ॥੧੧॥
hamare des na dtoonddee paiyat |11|But in our country, we do not find any dirt. 11.
ਤੁਹਿ ਜਾਨਤ ਮੁਹਿ ਕਹਤ ਬਤਾਈ ॥
tuhi jaanat muhi kahat bataaee |You know and you are telling me
ਮਿਮਿਆਈ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ ਬਨਾਈ ॥
mimiaaee ih des banaaee |That even in this country fat (medicine) is made.
ਕਹਾ ਭਯੋ ਇਕ ਦਾਸ ਸੰਘਾਰਾ ॥
kahaa bhayo ik daas sanghaaraa |What happened if a slave was killed?
ਹਮਰੋ ਰੋਗ ਬਡੋ ਤੈ ਟਾਰਾ ॥੧੨॥
hamaro rog baddo tai ttaaraa |12|You have ended my big disease. 12.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਚੌਹਤਰ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੭੪॥੫੩੦੨॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau chauahatar charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |274|5302|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 274th charitra of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 274.5302. goes on

ਬੰਦਰ ਬਸ ਤਹ ਬਾਸੀ ਜਹਾ ॥
bandar bas tah baasee jahaa |Where there is a colony called Bandar Bas,
ਹਬਸੀ ਰਾਇ ਨਰਾਧਿਪ ਤਹਾ ॥
habasee raae naraadhip tahaa |There was a king named Habshi Rai.
ਹਬਸ ਮਤੀ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਘਰ ਰਾਨੀ ॥
habas matee taa kai ghar raanee |In his house there was a queen named Habsh Mati,
ਜਨੁ ਪੁਰ ਖੋਜਿ ਚੌਦਹੂੰ ਆਨੀ ॥੧॥
jan pur khoj chauadahoon aanee |1|As if fourteen people were searched and brought. 1.
ਹਾਸਿਮ ਖਾਨ ਪਠਾਨ ਇਕ ਤਹਾ ॥
haasim khaan patthaan ik tahaa |There was a Pathan named Hashim Khan
ਜਾ ਸਮ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕੋਊ ਨ ਕਹਾ ॥
jaa sam sundar koaoo na kahaa |Whose beauty was nowhere else.
ਰਾਨੀ ਤਾਹਿ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਉਰਝਾਨੀ ॥
raanee taeh nirakh urajhaanee |Rani was confused seeing him.
ਬਿਰਹ ਬਿਕਲ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਈ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ॥੨॥
birah bikal hvai gee divaanee |2|(And in his) separation, she became distraught and crazy. 2.
ਰਾਨੀ ਜਤਨ ਅਨੇਕ ਬਨਾਏ ॥
raanee jatan anek banaae |Rani made many efforts
ਛਲ ਬਲ ਸੌ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਬੁਲਾਏ ॥
chhal bal sau grih mitr bulaae |And Val cunningly invited Mitra home.
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਕਮਾਨਾ ॥
kaam bhog tih sang kamaanaa |Had sex with him
ਆਸਨ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਕੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਾ ॥੩॥
aasan chunban kee pramaanaa |3|And did many kisses and postures. 3.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਅਨਿਕ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਜਿ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਕਹ ਗਰੇ ਰਹੀ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥
anik bhaat bhaj mitr kah gare rahee lapattaae |After playing various games with (her) friend, she embraced him.
ਜਾਨੁ ਨਿਰਧਨੀ ਪਾਇ ਧਨ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਹੀਯ ਸੌ ਲਾਇ ॥੪॥
jaan niradhanee paae dhan rahiyo heey sau laae |4|(It seemed like this) as if a poor person, after receiving money, keeps it attached to his heart. 4.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਤਬ ਰਾਜਾ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਆਯੋ ॥
tab raajaa taa ke grih aayo |Then the king came to her house.
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਸੇਜ ਪਰ ਤਾਹਿ ਰਿਸਾਯੋ ॥
nirakh sej par taeh risaayo |Seeing him sitting on the sage, he was very angry.
ਅਸਿ ਗਹਿ ਧਯੋ ਹਾਥ ਗਹਿ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
as geh dhayo haath geh naaree |(He) grabbed the sword and swooped down but the woman caught (his) hand
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਸੌ ਹਸਿ ਬਾਤ ਉਚਾਰੀ ॥੫॥
eih bidh sau has baat uchaaree |5|And laughed and spoke like this. 5.
ਤੈ ਰਾਜਾ ਇਹ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਜਾਨਾ ॥
tai raajaa ih bhed na jaanaa |O Rajan! You did not understand the secret of this (thing).
