ਊਚ ਨੀਚ ਰਾਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਜਿਯਤ ਨ ਰਹਸੀ ਕੋਇ ॥੪੪॥
aooch neech raajaa prajaa jiyat na rahasee koe |44|High, the low, the rulers, the subject, attain emancipation.’(44)
ਰਾਨੀ ਐਸੇ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਨਿ ਭੂਮਿ ਪਰੀ ਮੁਰਛਾਇ ॥
raanee aaise bachan sun bhoom paree murachhaae |
ਪੋਸਤਿਯਾ ਕੀ ਨੀਦ ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਸੋਇ ਨ ਸੋਯੋ ਜਾਇ ॥੪੫॥
posatiyaa kee need jayon soe na soyo jaae |45|
ਜੋ ਉਪਜਿਯੋ ਸੋ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਹੈ ਜਗ ਰਹਿਬੋ ਦਿਨ ਚਾਰਿ ॥
jo upajiyo so binas hai jag rahibo din chaar |Listening such talks, Rani became unconscious,
ਸੁਤ ਬਨਿਤਾ ਦਾਸੀ ਕਹਾ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ॥੪੬॥
sut banitaa daasee kahaa dekhahu tat beechaar |46|And was over powered by imperturbable sleep.(46)

ਪਤਿ ਪੂਤਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੈ ਬਿਜੈ ਪੂਤਨ ਤੇ ਪੈਯੈ ॥
pat pootan te rahai bijai pootan te paiyai |(Rani) With the offspring comes the honour in the world.
ਦਿਰਬੁ ਕਪੂਤਨ ਜਾਇ ਰਾਜ ਸਪੂਤਨੁ ਬਹੁਰੈਯੈ ॥
dirab kapootan jaae raaj sapootan bahuraiyai |Due to spurious progeny the wealth is lost.
ਪਿੰਡ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਹੀ ਦੇਹਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਪੂਤੋ ਉਪਜਾਵਹਿ ॥
pindd putr hee dehi preet pooto upajaaveh |The dead are honoured through sons.
ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਨਨ ਕੋ ਬੈਰ ਗਯੋ ਪੂਤੈ ਬਹੁਰਾਵਹਿ ॥
bahut dinan ko bair gayo pootai bahuraaveh |The age-old enmities are eliminated by dint of the sons.
ਜੋ ਪੂਤਨ ਕੌ ਛਾਡਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਤਪਸ੍ਯਾ ਕੋ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
jo pootan kau chhaadd nripat tapasayaa ko jaavai |The Raja who abandons his offspring and become an ascetic,
ਪਰੈ ਨਰਕ ਸੋ ਜਾਇ ਅਧਿਕ ਤਨ ਮੈ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੪੭॥
parai narak so jaae adhik tan mai dukh paavai |47|He is thrown in the hell and remains in misery.(47)
ਨ ਕੋ ਹਮਾਰੋ ਪੂਤ ਨ ਕੋ ਹਮਰੀ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
n ko hamaaro poot na ko hamaree koee naaree |(Raja) Neither I have any son, nor I have any wife.
ਨ ਕੋ ਹਮਾਰੋ ਪਿਤਾ ਨ ਕੋ ਹਮਰੀ ਮਹਤਾਰੀ ॥
n ko hamaaro pitaa na ko hamaree mahataaree |Neither I have my father, nor any mother.
ਨ ਕੋ ਹਮਰੀ ਭੈਨ ਨ ਕੋ ਹਮਰੋ ਕੋਈ ਭਾਈ ॥
n ko hamaree bhain na ko hamaro koee bhaaee |Neither I have a sister, nor I have any brother.
ਨ ਕੋ ਹਮਾਰੋ ਦੇਸ ਨ ਹੌ ਕਾਹੂ ਕੌ ਰਾਈ ॥
n ko hamaaro des na hau kaahoo kau raaee |Neither I Own a Country, nor I am the ruler.
ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਜਗਤ ਮੈ ਆਇ ਜੋਗ ਬਿਨੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਗਵਾਯੋ ॥
brithaa jagat mai aae jog bin janam gavaayo |Without yoga I have obliterated my birth.
ਤਜ੍ਯੋ ਰਾਜ ਅਰੁ ਪਾਟ ਯਹੈ ਜਿਯਰੇ ਮੁਹਿ ਭਾਯੋ ॥੪੮॥
tajayo raaj ar paatt yahai jiyare muhi bhaayo |48|To abandon the kingship, would satisfy me most now.(48)
ਜਨਨਿ ਜਠਰ ਮਹਿ ਆਇ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਹੁਤੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਹਿ ॥
janan jatthar meh aae purakh bahuto dukh paaveh |Then, when he gets access to a urinary place (vagina), he exclaims, ‘I had sex.’
ਮੂਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਮ ਕੌ ਪਾਇ ਕਹਤ ਹਮ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ ॥
mootr dhaam kau paae kahat ham bhog kamaaveh |Man enters the mother’s womb and faces agony.
ਥੂਕ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕੌ ਚਾਟਿ ਕਹਤ ਅਧਰਾਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
thook triyaa kau chaatt kahat adharaamrit paayo |He licks the spit from woman’s lips and thinks he is honoured with nectar.
ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਜਗਤ ਮੈ ਜਨਮੁ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਗਵਾਯੋ ॥੪੯॥
brithaa jagat mai janam binaa jagadees gavaayo |49|But he does not reflect that he has lost the worth of his birth.(49)

ਰਿਖਿ ਯਾਹੀ ਤੇ ਭਏ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਯਾਹੀ ਉਪਜਾਏ ॥
rikh yaahee te bhe nripat yaahee upajaae |Rajas and sages were born through her,
ਬ੍ਰਯਾਸਾਦਿਕ ਸਭ ਚਤੁਰ ਇਹੀ ਮਾਰਗ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਆਏ ॥
brayaasaadik sabh chatur ihee maarag hvai aae |Sage Viyas and the other wise men had all passed through this course.
ਪਰਸੇ ਯਾ ਕੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਹੋ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਕੋ ਆਯੋ ॥
parase yaa ke binaa kaho jag mai ko aayo |Without her enterprise, how can one come into this world?
ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਐਤ ਭਵ ਪਾਇ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੫੦॥
pratham aait bhav paae bahur paramesvar paayo |50|Pristinely, only coming through this way, one attained Godly bliss.(50)
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਅਤਿ ਚਾਤੁਰਿ ਰਾਨੀ ਸੁਮਤਿ ਬਾਤੈ ਕਹੀ ਅਨੇਕ ॥
at chaatur raanee sumat baatai kahee anek |The wise Rani talked very sensibly,
ਰੋਗੀ ਕੇ ਪਥ ਜ੍ਯੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਮਾਨਤ ਭਯੋ ਨ ਏਕ ॥੫੧॥
rogee ke path jayo nripat maanat bhayo na ek |51|But like the preventions detailed to a sick-man, Raja did not concede to any.(51)

ਪੁਨਿ ਰਾਜੈ ਯੌ ਕਹੀ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਨ ਮੇਰੋ ਰਾਨੀ ॥
pun raajai yau kahee bachan sun mero raanee |Raja spoke again, ‘Listen to me, Rani,
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਕਛੂ ਤੈ ਨੈਕੁ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
braham gayaan kee baat kachhoo tai naik na jaanee |‘You have not understood an iota of the celestial cognisance,
ਕਹਾ ਬਾਪੁਰੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਨੇਹ ਜਾ ਸੌ ਅਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਹੈ ॥
kahaa baapuree triyaa neh jaa sau at kar hai |‘What is the criteria of a woman who is loved so much?
ਮਹਾ ਮੂਤ੍ਰ ਕੋ ਧਾਮ ਬਿਹਸਿ ਆਗੇ ਤਿਹ ਧਰਿ ਹੈ ॥੫੨॥
mahaa mootr ko dhaam bihas aage tih dhar hai |52|‘Yes, just this that she presents the urinary place.’(52)
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਪੁਨਿ ਰਾਜੈ ਐਸੇ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਸੁਨੁ ਹੋ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰਿ ॥
pun raajai aaise kahiyo sun ho raaj kumaar |Then Raja further added, Listen, Oh the princess,
ਜੋ ਜੋਗੀ ਤੁਮ ਸੌ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਸੋ ਮੁਹਿ ਕਹੌ ਸੁਧਾਰਿ ॥੫੩॥
jo jogee tum sau kahiyo so muhi kahau sudhaar |53|Whatever Yogi has told you, you reveal it to me.’(53)
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਦੁਤਿਯ ਬਚਨ ਜੋਗੀ ਜੋ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥
dutiy bachan jogee jo kahiyo |
ਸੋ ਮੈ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਬੀਚ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਗਹਿਯੋ ॥
so mai hridai beech drirr gahiyo |‘What the other things Yogi said, I had kept in my heart,
ਜੋ ਤੁਮ ਕਹੌ ਸੁ ਬਚਨ ਬਖਾਨੋ ॥
jo tum kahau su bachan bakhaano |
ਤੁਮ ਜੋ ਸਾਚੁ ਜਾਨਿ ਜਿਯ ਮਾਨੋ ॥੫੪॥
tum jo saach jaan jiy maano |54|‘I will tell you but only if you appraise it truthfully.(54)
ਮੰਦਰ ਏਕ ਉਜਾਰ ਉਸਰਿਯਹੁ ॥
mandar ek ujaar usariyahu |
ਬੈਠੇ ਤਹਾ ਤਪਸ੍ਯਾ ਕਰਿਯਹੁ ॥
baitthe tahaa tapasayaa kariyahu |“In the wilderness, build up a temple, sitting where you do the
ਹੌ ਤਹ ਔਰ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਧਰ ਐਹੋ ॥
hau tah aauar moorat dhar aaiho |
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੋ ਸਮੁਝੈਹੋ ॥੫੫॥
braham gayaan nrip ko samujhaiho |55|Meditation. “Keeping an idol there, impart the celestial knowledge to the Raja.”(55)
