ਪੋਸਤ ਭਾਗ ਅਫੀਮ ਸਰਾਬ ਖਵਾਇ ਤੁਮੈ ਤਬ ਆਪੁ ਚੜੈਹੌ ॥
posat bhaag afeem saraab khavaae tumai tab aap charraihau |After feeding you poppy seed, hemp, opium and liquor, then I will offer it myself.
ਕੋਟ ਉਪਾਵ ਕਰੌ ਕ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਮੀਤ ਪੈ ਕੇਲ ਕਰੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਜਾਨ ਨ ਦੈਹੌ ॥੧੩॥
kott upaav karau kayo na meet pai kel kare bin jaan na daihau |13|O friend! Even if you don't do crores of measures, I will not let (you) go without having sex. 13.
ਕੇਤਿਯੈ ਬਾਤ ਬਨਾਇ ਕਹੌ ਕਿਨ ਕੇਲ ਕਰੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਮੈ ਨ ਟਰੌਗੀ ॥
ketiyai baat banaae kahau kin kel kare bin mai na ttarauagee |Why don't you make up so many things and say, I will not leave without playing Rati-Kreeda.
ਆਜੁ ਮਿਲੇ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਮੈ ਤਵ ਰੂਪ ਚਿਤਾਰਿ ਚਿਤਾਰਿ ਜਰੌਗੀ ॥
aaj mile tumare bin mai tav roop chitaar chitaar jarauagee |Without meeting you today, I will continue to burn by meditating on your form.
ਹਾਰ ਸਿੰਗਾਰ ਸਭੈ ਘਰ ਬਾਰ ਸੁ ਏਕਹਿ ਬਾਰ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਧਰੌਗੀ ॥
haar singaar sabhai ghar baar su ekeh baar bisaar dharauagee |All necklaces and ornaments will be forgotten at once.
ਕੈ ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਯਾਰ ਮਿਲੋ ਇਕ ਬਾਰ ਕਿ ਯਾਰ ਬਿਨਾ ਉਰ ਫਾਰਿ ਮਰੌਗੀ ॥੧੪॥
kai kar payaar milo ik baar ki yaar binaa ur faar marauagee |14|Either meet once with love, otherwise I will tear my chest apart without a friend. 14.
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕੇਲ ਕਰੋ ਹਮਰੇ ਸੰਗ ਮੈ ਤੁਮਰੌ ਲਖਿ ਰੂਪ ਬਿਕਾਨੀ ॥
sundar kel karo hamare sang mai tumarau lakh roop bikaanee |(O Rajan!) Play with me, I am sold by seeing your form.
ਠਾਵ ਨਹੀ ਜਹਾ ਜਾਉ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਿਧਿ ਆਜੁ ਭਈ ਦੁਤਿ ਦੇਖ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ॥
tthaav nahee jahaa jaau kripaanidh aaj bhee dut dekh divaanee |O Please Nidhan! No place to go (I) have become crazy seeing your beauty today.
ਹੌ ਅਟਕੀ ਤਵ ਹੇਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਤੁਮ ਬਾਧਿ ਰਹੈ ਕਸਿ ਮੌਨ ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ॥
hau attakee tav her prabhaa tum baadh rahai kas mauan gumaanee |I am enchanted by your beauty and O Gumani! Why are you silent?
ਜਾਨਤ ਘਾਤ ਨ ਮਾਨਤ ਬਾਤ ਸੁ ਜਾਤ ਬਿਹਾਤ ਦੁਹੂੰਨ ਕੀ ਜ੍ਵਾਨੀ ॥੧੫॥
jaanat ghaat na maanat baat su jaat bihaat duhoon kee jvaanee |15|(You) are neither understanding the opportunity nor obeying the matter, the youth of both is passing in vain. 15.
ਜੇਤਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕੀ ਰੀਤਿ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਸੁ ਸਾਹ ਸੁਤਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਤੀਰ ਬਖਾਨੀ ॥
jetik preet kee reet kee baat su saah sutaa nrip teer bakhaanee |Shah's daughter told the king that there was much talk about the custom of love.
ਚੌਕ ਰਹਾ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਚਿਤੈ ਕਰਿ ਬਾਧਿ ਰਹਾ ਮੁਖ ਮੌਨ ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ॥
chauak rahaa chahoon or chitai kar baadh rahaa mukh mauan gumaanee |(The king) was looking around in surprise and Gumani had a silent expression on his face.
ਹਾਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਕਹਿ ਪਾਇ ਰਹੀ ਗਹਿ ਗਾਇ ਥਕੀ ਗੁਨ ਏਕ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
haeh rahee keh paae rahee geh gaae thakee gun ek na jaanee |(She) went on holding her feet saying 'Hi Hi' and got tired of singing Guna, (but she) did not hear one.
ਬਾਧਿ ਰਹਾ ਜੜ ਮੋਨਿ ਮਹਾ ਓਹਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਹੀ ਇਹ ਏਕ ਨ ਮਾਨੀ ॥੧੬॥
baadh rahaa jarr mon mahaa ohi kott kahee ih ek na maanee |16|That fool remained silent. He said many things, but he did not accept even one. 16.

ਜਬ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਇਕ ਬਾਤ ਨ ਮਾਨੀ ॥
jab bhoopat ik baat na maanee |When the king did not agree to a single thing,
ਸਾਹ ਸੁਤਾ ਤਬ ਅਧਿਕ ਰਿਸਾਨੀ ॥
saah sutaa tab adhik risaanee |Then the Shah's daughter became very angry.
ਸਖਿਯਨ ਨੈਨ ਸੈਨ ਕਰਿ ਦਈ ॥
sakhiyan nain sain kar dee |(He) winked at the friends
ਰਾਜਾ ਕੀ ਬਹੀਯਾ ਗਹਿ ਲਈ ॥੧੭॥
raajaa kee baheeyaa geh lee |17|And (they) took hold of the king's arms. 17.
ਪਕਰਿ ਰਾਵ ਕੀ ਪਾਗ ਉਤਾਰੀ ॥
pakar raav kee paag utaaree |Grabbed the king and took off his feet
ਪਨਹੀ ਮੂੰਡ ਸਾਤ ਸੈ ਝਾਰੀ ॥
panahee moondd saat sai jhaaree |And hit seven hundred shoes on the head.
ਦੁਤਿਯ ਪੁਰਖ ਕੋਈ ਤਿਹ ਨ ਨਿਹਾਰੌ ॥
dutiy purakh koee tih na nihaarau |There was no other man to be seen,
ਆਨਿ ਰਾਵ ਕੌ ਕਰੈ ਸਹਾਰੌ ॥੧੮॥
aan raav kau karai sahaarau |18|Who came and helped the king. 18.
ਭੂਪ ਲਜਤ ਨਹਿ ਹਾਇ ਬਖਾਨੈ ॥
bhoop lajat neh haae bakhaanai |The slain king of the lodge was not even saying hi
ਜਿਨਿ ਕੋਈ ਨਰ ਮੁਝੈ ਪਛਾਨੈ ॥
jin koee nar mujhai pachhaanai |So that no one recognizes me.
ਸਾਹ ਸੁਤਾ ਇਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਹਿ ਨ ਛੋਰੈ ॥
saah sutaa it nripeh na chhorai |Shah's daughter was not leaving the king like this
ਪਨਹੀ ਵਾਹਿ ਮੂੰਡ ਪਰ ਤੋਰੈ ॥੧੯॥
panahee vaeh moondd par torai |19|And the shoe was breaking on his head. 19.
ਰਾਵ ਲਖਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਮੁਝੈ ਸੰਘਾਰੋ ॥
raav lakhaa triy mujhai sanghaaro |The king understood that the woman would kill me
ਕੋਈ ਨ ਪਹੁਚਾ ਸਿਵਕ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥
koee na pahuchaa sivak hamaaro |And none of my servants have arrived.
ਅਬ ਯਹ ਮੁਝੈ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਦੈ ਹੈ ॥
ab yah mujhai na jaanai dai hai |Now it won't let me go
ਪਨੀ ਹਨਤ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਲੋਕ ਪਠੈ ਹੈ ॥੨੦॥
panee hanat mrit lok patthai hai |20|And by kicking the shoes, she will deliver it to the people of the dead. 20.
ਪਨਹੀ ਜਬ ਸੋਰਹ ਸੈ ਪਰੀ ॥
panahee jab sorah sai paree |When sixteen hundred shoes have fallen
ਤਬ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੀ ਆਖਿ ਉਘਰੀ ॥
tab raajaa kee aakh ugharee |Then the king's eyes opened.
ਇਹ ਅਬਲਾ ਗਹਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਸੰਘਰਿ ਹੈ ॥
eih abalaa geh mohi sanghar hai |(thinking that) this Abla will catch me and kill me,
ਕਵਨ ਆਨਿ ਹ੍ਯਾਂ ਮੁਝੈ ਉਬਰਿ ਹੈ ॥੨੧॥
kavan aan hayaan mujhai ubar hai |21|Who will come here and save me. 21.
ਪੁਨਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਖਾਨੋ ॥
pun raajaa ih bhaat bakhaano |Then the king said thus,
ਮੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਤੋਰ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਜਾਨੋ ॥
mai triy tor charitr na jaano |O woman! I did not know your character.
ਅਬ ਜੂਤਿਨ ਸੌ ਮੁਝੈ ਨ ਮਾਰੋ ॥
ab jootin sau mujhai na maaro |Don't hit me with your shoes now,
ਜੌ ਚਾਹੌ ਤੌ ਆਨਿ ਬਿਹਾਰੋ ॥੨੨॥
jau chaahau tau aan bihaaro |22|Come and enjoy (with me) as you wish. 22.
ਸਾਹ ਸੁਤਾ ਜਬ ਯੌ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
saah sutaa jab yau sun paaee |Shah's daughter heard this
ਨੈਨ ਸੈਨ ਦੈ ਸਖੀ ਹਟਾਈ ॥
nain sain dai sakhee hattaaee |So with the gesture of the eye removed the sakhis.
ਆਪੁ ਗਈ ਰਾਜਾ ਪਹਿ ਧਾਇ ॥
aap gee raajaa peh dhaae |She ran away to the king
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਕੀਨਾ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥੨੩॥
kaam bhog keenaa lapattaae |23|And he had sex with his arms around his arms. 23.
ਪੋਸਤ ਭਾਗ ਅਫੀਮ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
posat bhaag afeem milaae |Poppy, hemp and opium mixed (consumed)
ਆਸਨ ਤਾ ਤਰ ਦਿਯੋ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
aasan taa tar diyo banaae |And sit well under it.
ਚੁੰਬਨ ਰਾਇ ਅਲਿੰਗਨ ਲਏ ॥
chunban raae alingan le |The king received kisses and hugs
ਲਿੰਗ ਦੇਤ ਤਿਹ ਭਗ ਮੋ ਭਏ ॥੨੪॥
ling det tih bhag mo bhe |24|And he did mortal deeds with him. 24.
ਭਗ ਮੋ ਲਿੰਗ ਦਿਯੋ ਰਾਜਾ ਜਬ ॥
bhag mo ling diyo raajaa jab |When the king behaved like a man,
ਰੁਚਿ ਉਪਜੀ ਤਰਨੀ ਕੇ ਜਿਯ ਤਬ ॥
ruch upajee taranee ke jiy tab |Then a lot of interest arose in the woman's mind.
ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਆਸਨ ਤਰ ਗਈ ॥
lapatt lapatt aasan tar gee |He did asanas with his arms folded
ਚੁੰਬਨ ਕਰਤ ਭੂਪ ਕੇ ਭਈ ॥੨੫॥
chunban karat bhoop ke bhee |25|And began to kiss the king. 25.
ਗਹਿ ਗਹਿ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਗਰੇ ਲਗਾਵਾ ॥
geh geh tih ko gare lagaavaa |He grabbed her and hugged her
ਆਸਨ ਸੌ ਆਸਨਹਿ ਛੁਹਾਵਾ ॥
aasan sau aasaneh chhuhaavaa |And touched posture with posture.
ਅਧਰਨ ਸੌ ਦੋਊ ਅਧਰ ਲਗਾਈ ॥
adharan sau doaoo adhar lagaaee |Kissed with both lips
ਦੁਹੂੰ ਕੁਚਨ ਸੌ ਕੁਚਨ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥੨੬॥
duhoon kuchan sau kuchan milaaee |26|And mixed with both of them. 26.
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਭੋਗ ਕਿਯਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਤਨ ॥
eih bidh bhog kiyaa raajaa tan |He did this kind of indulgence with the king
ਜਿਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਰੁਚਾ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਕੇ ਮਨ ॥
jih bidh ruchaa chanchalaa ke man |Just like a woman's mind.
ਬਹੁਰੌ ਰਾਵ ਬਿਦਾ ਕਰਿ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
bahurau raav bidaa kar diyo |(He) then sent the king away
ਅਨਤ ਦੇਸ ਕੋ ਮਾਰਗ ਲਿਯੋ ॥੨੭॥
anat des ko maarag liyo |27|And took the path of another country. 27.
ਰਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਵ ਬਿਦਾ ਕਰਿ ਦਿਯਾ ॥
rat kar raav bidaa kar diyaa |After performing Rati-Kira, the king was sent away.
ਐਸਾ ਚਰਿਤ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਕਿਯਾ ॥
aaisaa charit chanchalaa kiyaa |This kind of playfulness characterized.
ਅਵਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਸੌ ਰਾਵ ਨ ਭਾਖਾ ॥
avar purakh sau raav na bhaakhaa |The king did not tell any other man.
ਜੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕਿਯ ਸੋ ਜਿਯ ਮੋ ਰਾਖਾ ॥੨੮॥
jo triy kiy so jiy mo raakhaa |28|What the woman did, she kept it in her mind. 28.

ਕਿਤਕ ਦਿਨਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਪੁਨਿ ਵਹੁ ਲਈ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥
kitak dinan nrip chanchalaa pun vahu lee bulaae |After some days, the king called that woman again
ਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਖੀ ਸਦਨ ਸਕਾ ਨ ਕੋ ਛਲ ਪਾਇ ॥੨੯॥
raanee kar raakhee sadan sakaa na ko chhal paae |29|And kept her as queen in the palace. No one could understand (his) deception. 29.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਸੌ ਦੋਇ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੪੦੨॥੭੧੨੩॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade chaar sau doe charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |402|7123|afajoon|Here ends the 402nd chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 402.7123. goes on

ਅਨਦਾਵਤੀ ਨਗਰ ਇਕ ਸੋਹੈ ॥
anadaavatee nagar ik sohai |There used to be a town called Andavati.
