ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦ ਤ੍ਰਿਦਿਵੇਸ ਬਖਾਨੋ ॥

aad sabad tridives bakhaano |

First recite 'Tridives' (Indra, king of heaven).

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨੋ ॥

teen baar nrip padeh pramaano |

(Then) add the word 'Nrip' three times.

ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਭਨੀਜੈ ॥

ar pad taa ke ant bhaneejai |

Say the word 'ari' at the end of it.

ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਲਹਿ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੧੨੬੩॥

sabh sree naam tupak leh leejai |1263|

Saying firstly the word “Tridevesh, add the word “Nrip” three times, and then uttering the word “ari” at the end, know all the names of Tupak.1263.

ਬ੍ਰਿੰਦਾਰਕ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਹੁ ॥

brindaarak sabadaad uchaarahu |

First pronounce the word 'brindarak' (god).

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨਾਇਕ ਪਦ ਡਾਰਹੁ ॥

teen baar naaeik pad ddaarahu |

(Then) add the word 'Nayak' three times.

ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਦੀਜੋ ॥

ar pad ant tavan ke deejo |

Add the term 'ari' at the end of it.

ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਲਹਿ ਲੀਜੋ ॥੧੨੬੪॥

naam tupak ke sabh leh leejo |1264|

Saying the word “Vrindraarak, add the word “naayak” three times and then adding the word “ari” at the end, know all the names of Tupak.1264.

ਗਤਿ ਬਿਵਾਨ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਬਖਾਣਹੁ ॥

gat bivaan sabadaad bakhaanahu |

First recite the word 'Gati Biwan'.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਪਤਿ ਪਦਿਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਹੁ ॥

teen baar pat padihi pramaanahu |

(Then) add the word 'Pati' three times.

ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਕਹੀਐ ॥

ar pad ant tavan ke kaheeai |

At the end of that say the word 'ari'.

ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਲਹੀਐ ॥੧੨੬੫॥

sabh sree naam tupak ke laheeai |1265|

Saying firstly the word “Gatibivaan”, add the word “Padihi” three times and then uttering the word “ari” at the end know all the names of Tupak.1265.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੇਸ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

amrites sabadaad uchaaran keejeeai |

First chant the word 'amrites' (god).

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਪਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥

teen baar pat sabad tavan ke deejeeai |

Add the word 'husband' three times to it.

ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਪੁਨਿ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥

satru sabad pun taa ke ant bakhaaneeai |

Finally pronounce the word 'Satru' in it.

ਹੋ ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਚਤੁਰ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੬੬॥

ho sakal tupak ke naam chatur jeea jaaneeai |1266|

Saying firstly the word “Amartesh”, add the word “Pati” three times and then uttering the word “shatru” at the end and in this way, now al the names of Tupak in your mind.1266.

ਮਧੁ ਪਦ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈ ਨੀਕੇ ਭਾਖੀਐ ॥

madh pad mukh te prithamai neeke bhaakheeai |

First pronounce the word 'madhu' (nectar) well from the mouth.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਪਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਰਾਖੀਐ ॥

teen baar pat sabad tavan ke raakheeai |

(Then) add the word 'Pati' three times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨੀਐ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke chatur pachhaaneeai |

(Then) identify it as the name of the drop by saying the word 'Ari'.

ਹੋ ਜਹ ਜਹ ਚਹੀਐ ਸਬਦ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੬੭॥

ho jah jah chaheeai sabad nisank bakhaaneeai |1267|

Saying firstly the word “Madhu”, add the word “Pati” three times and then the word “ari” and know the names of Tupak.1267.

ਸੁਧਾ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

sudhaa sabad ko aad uchaaran keejeeai |

First pronounce the word 'Sudha'.

ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਾਰ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥

nrip pad taa ke ant baar trai deejeeai |

(Then) use the word 'Nrip' three times at the end of it.

ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਭਾਖਿ ਤੁਫੰਗ ਨਾਮ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥

rip pad bhaakh tufang naam jeea jaaneeai |

(Then) learn the name of Tufang in your mind by adding the word Ripu.

ਹੋ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਚਉਪਈ ਮਾਝ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੬੮॥

ho sukab chaupee maajh nisank bakhaaneeai |1268|

Saying firstly the word “Sudhaa”, and the word “Nrip” three times at the end and then uttering the word “Ripu”, know the names of Tupak for using them unhesitatingly.1268.

ਸਬਦ ਪਯੂਖ ਸੁ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ॥

sabad payookh su mukh te pritham uchaareeai |

First pronounce the word 'Pyukh' from the mouth.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਿਹ ਡਾਰੀਐ ॥

teen baar nrip sabad ant tih ddaareeai |

(Then) add the word 'Nrip' three times.

ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਭਾਖਿ ਤੁਪਕ ਨਾਮ ਲਹੀਜੀਐ ॥

rip pad bhaakh tupak naam laheejeeai |

(Then) add the term 'Ripu' and assume it as the name of the drop.

ਹੋ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਦੋਹਰਾ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੁਇ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥੧੨੬੯॥

ho sukab doharaa maeh niddar hue deejeeai |1269|

Saying firstly the word “Payukh”, add the word “Nrip” three times and then adding the word “Ripu”, know the names of Tupak.1269.

ਅਸੁਦਾ ਸਬਦ ਸੁ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥

asudaa sabad su mukh te aad uchaar kai |

First pronounce the word 'asuda' (nectar) from the mouth.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਡਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥

teen baar nrip sabad tavan ke ddaar kai |

(Then) add the word 'Nrip' to it three times.

ਰਿਪੁ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਬਿਚਾਰੀਐ ॥

rip keh naam tupak ke chatur bichaareeai |

Then think of Tupak's name by saying 'Ripu'.

ਹੋ ਛੰਦ ਸੋਰਠਾ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ॥੧੨੭੦॥

ho chhand soratthaa maeh nisank uchaareeai |1270|

Saying the word “Asudaa”, add the word “Nrip” three times and then the word “Ripu”, know the names of Tupak for using them in the Sorathaa stanza.1270.

ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਦਾ ਪਦ ਕੋ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥

pritham praanadaa pad ko sukab bakhaaneeai |

First chant the 'Pranada' (Amrit)! make a statement

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਠਾਨੀਐ ॥

chaar baar nrip sabad tavan ke tthaaneeai |

Add the word 'Nrip' to it four times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਪਛਾਨੀਐ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke hridai pachhaaneeai |

(Then) say 'Ari' and understand the name of the drop in the heart.

ਹੋ ਸੁਧਨਿ ਸਵੈਯਾ ਭੀਤਰ ਨਿਡਰ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੭੧॥

ho sudhan savaiyaa bheetar niddar bakhaaneeai |1271|

Saying firstly the wod “Praan”, add the word “Nrip” four times and then uttering the word “ari” t the end, know the names of Tupak.1271.

ਜੀਵਦਤ ਪਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

jeevadat pad pritham uchaaran keejeeai |

First chant the word 'Jivadat' (Amrit).

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਭਣੀਜੀਐ ॥

chaar baar nrip sabadeh ant bhaneejeeai |

Recite the word 'Nrip' four times at (its) end.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੇ ਪਛਾਨ ਲੈ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke hride pachhaan lai |

(Then) recognize Tupak's name in your heart by saying Ari.

ਹੋ ਕਹੀ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਆਜ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੇ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ਲੈ ॥੧੨੭੨॥

ho kahee hamaaree aaj hride pahichaan lai |1272|

Saying firstly the word “Jeevdat, add the word “Nrip” four times and considering my words as true to-day and adding the word “ari” at the end know all the names of Tupak.1272.
