ਮੋਹਨਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੇ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਕਰਿ ॥
mohanaasatr kete mohit kar |Bewitched (impure) many with Mohan Astra
ਬਰੁਣਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਭੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਕਿਤਨ ਹਰਿ ॥
barunaasatr bhe praan kitan har |And Varuna took the lives of many with his astra.
ਪਾਵਕਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਭੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਜਰਾਏ ॥
paavakaasatr bhe adhik jaraae |Agan threw fire and burnt many (warriors).
ਅਮਿਤ ਸੁਭਟ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਲੋਕ ਪਠਾਏ ॥੧੯੧॥
amit subhatt mrit lok patthaae |191|Innumerable warriors were delivered to Yama-Loka. 191.
ਜਾ ਪਰ ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ ਅਸਿ ਝਾਰਾ ॥
jaa par mahaa kaal as jhaaraa |On whom the Great Age struck with the sword,
ਏਕ ਸੁਭਟ ਤੇ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਕਰਿ ਡਾਰਾ ॥
ek subhatt te dvai kar ddaaraa |He cut (that) warrior in two (i.e. cut him in two).
ਜੌ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਨਰ ਪਰ ਟੁਕ ਅਸਿ ਧਰਾ ॥
jau dvai nar par ttuk as dharaa |If a little bit of sword was thrown at the two men
ਚਾਰਿ ਟੂਕ ਤਿਨ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ਕਰਾ ॥੧੯੨॥
chaar ttook tin dvai kai karaa |192|So they cut two to four pieces. 192.
ਕੇਤਿਕ ਪਰੇ ਸੁਭਟ ਬਿਲਲਾਹੀ ॥
ketik pare subhatt bilalaahee |How many warriors were lamenting.
ਜੰਬੁਕ ਗਿਧ ਮਾਸੁ ਲੈ ਜਾਹੀ ॥
janbuk gidh maas lai jaahee |(Their) meat was being carried away by jackals and vultures.
ਭੈਰਵ ਆਨਿ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਭਭਕਾਰੈ ॥
bhairav aan duhoon bhabhakaarai |Somewhere Bhairo was coming and shouting
ਕਹੂੰ ਮਸਾਨ ਕਿਲਕਟੀ ਮਾਰੈ ॥੧੯੩॥
kahoon masaan kilakattee maarai |193|And somewhere Masan (ghosts) were screaming. 193.
ਕੇਤਿਕ ਸੁਭਟ ਆਨਿ ਹੀ ਢੂਕੈ ॥
ketik subhatt aan hee dtookai |How many heroes were ready to come again
ਮਾਰਹਿ ਮਾਰਿ ਦਸੋ ਦਿਸਿ ਕੂਕੈ ॥
maareh maar daso dis kookai |And they were shouting 'Maro Maro' in ten directions.
ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ ਪਰ ਜੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਣ ਕਰਹੀ ॥
mahaa kaal par je brin karahee |Whatever (weapon) used to strike the great age,
ਕੁੰਠਤ ਹੋਇ ਧਰਨਿ ਗਿਰ ਪਰਹੀ ॥੧੯੪॥
kuntthat hoe dharan gir parahee |194|He used to get lost and fall on the ground. 194.
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਅਸੁਰ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
bahur kop kar asur apaaraa |By enraging countless giants
ਅ ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ ਕਹ ਕਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਾ ॥
a mahaa kaal kah karat prahaaraa |Then they were attacking Maha Kal.
ਤੇ ਵੈ ਏਕ ਰੂਪ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਜਾਹੀ ॥
te vai ek roop hvai jaahee |They used to become one form with that great age
ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ ਕੇ ਮਧ੍ਯ ਸਮਾਹੀ ॥੧੯੫॥
mahaa kaal ke madhay samaahee |195|And used to get absorbed in it. 195.
ਜਿਮਿ ਕੋਈ ਬਾਰਿ ਬਾਰਿ ਪਰ ਮਾਰੈ ॥
jim koee baar baar par maarai |As someone pours water on water
ਹੋਤ ਲੀਨ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਝ ਸੁਧਾਰੈ ॥
hot leen tih maajh sudhaarai |So he gets absorbed in that.
ਪੁਨਿ ਕੋਈ ਤਾਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਤ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥
pun koee taeh na sakat pachhaanee |Then no one can recognize him
ਆਗਿਲ ਆਹਿ ਕਿ ਮੋਰਾ ਪਾਨੀ ॥੧੯੬॥
aagil aaeh ki moraa paanee |196|Which was the first water and which is my water. 196.
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਭਏ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਜਬ ਲੀਨਾ ॥
eih bidh bhe sasatr jab leenaa |Thus when all the weapons were absorbed (in the great age),
ਅਸੁਰਨ ਕੋਪ ਅਮਿਤ ਤਬ ਕੀਨਾ ॥
asuran kop amit tab keenaa |Then the giants became very angry.
ਕਾਪਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਚਿਤ ਮੋ ਗਏ ॥
kaapat adhik chit mo ge |(They) became very afraid in mind
ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਆਵਤ ਭਏ ॥੧੯੭॥
sasatr asatr lai aavat bhe |197|And came with arms and armor. 197.
ਜ੍ਵਾਲ ਤਜੀ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਨਿਸਾਚਰ ॥
jvaal tajee kar kop nisaachar |Enraged, the demons spewed fire (from their mouths),
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਭਏ ਪਠਾਨ ਧਨੁਖ ਧਰ ॥
tin te bhe patthaan dhanukh dhar |From him the archer Pathans were born.
ਪੁਨਿ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਉਲਕਾ ਜੇ ਕਾਢੇ ॥
pun mukh te ulakaa je kaadte |(They) then drew fire (embers) from their mouths,
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਮੁਗਲ ਉਪਜਿ ਭੇ ਠਾਢੇ ॥੧੯੮॥
taa te mugal upaj bhe tthaadte |198|The Mughals were born from him and survived. 198.
ਪੁਨਿ ਰਿਸਿ ਤਨ ਤਿਨ ਸ੍ਵਾਸ ਨਿਕਾਰੇ ॥
pun ris tan tin svaas nikaare |Then they breathed a sigh of relief,
ਸੈਯਦ ਸੇਖ ਭਏ ਰਿਸ ਵਾਰੇ ॥
saiyad sekh bhe ris vaare |From them were born angry Sayyids and Sheikhs.
ਧਾਏ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਰ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
dhaae sasatr asatr kar lai kai |He took weapons and armor in his hands
ਤਮਕਿ ਤੇਜ ਰਨ ਤੁਰੀ ਨਚੈ ਕੈ ॥੧੯੯॥
tamak tej ran turee nachai kai |199|And inciting the horses to dance, they rushed in the field. 199.
ਖਾਨ ਪਠਾਨ ਢੁਕੇ ਰਿਸਿ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥
khaan patthaan dtuke ris kai kai |The Khans and the Pathans were furious
ਕੋਪਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਨਗਨ ਕਰ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
kop kripaan nagan kar lai kai |And they came with drawn swords in their hands.
ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ ਕੌ ਕਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਾ ॥
mahaa kaal kau karat prahaaraa |They used to attack the great age,
ਏਕ ਨ ਉਪਰਤ ਰੋਮ ਉਪਾਰਾ ॥੨੦੦॥
ek na uparat rom upaaraa |200|But they could not uproot even a single hair of him. 200.
ਅਮਿਤ ਖਾਨ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਸਿਧਾਰੇ ॥
amit khaan kar kop sidhaare |Completely drunk in alcohol
ਮਦ ਕਰਿ ਭਏ ਸਕਲ ਮਤਵਾਰੇ ॥
mad kar bhe sakal matavaare |Beshumar Khan came and left in anger.
ਉਮਡੇ ਅਮਿਤ ਮਲੇਛਨ ਕੇ ਗਨ ॥
aumadde amit malechhan ke gan |Innumerable bands of soldiers (of warriors) arose.
ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕਹਤ ਤੁਮ ਸੌ ਭਨਿ ॥੨੦੧॥
tin ke naam kahat tum sau bhan |201|I tell you their names. 201.
ਨਾਹਰ ਖਾਨ ਝੜਾਝੜ ਖਾਨਾ ॥
naahar khaan jharraajharr khaanaa |Nahar Khan, Jharajhar Khan,
ਖਾਨ ਨਿਹੰਗ ਭੜੰਗ ਜੁਆਨਾ ॥
khaan nihang bharrang juaanaa |Nihang Khan, Bharang (Khan)
ਔਰ ਝੜੰਗ ਖਾਨ ਰਨ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
aauar jharrang khaan ran dhaayo |and Jharang Khan (the original fighting warrior)
ਅਮਿਤ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਸਿਧਾਯੋ ॥੨੦੨॥
amit sasatr kar le sidhaayo |202|They came to the battlefield with countless weapons in their hands. 202.
