ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਸਕਲ ਜਗਤ ਤੇ ਰਹਈ ॥
sundar sakal jagat te rahee |She was the most beautiful of all the worlds
ਬੇਦ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਭ ਕਹਈ ॥੨॥
bed saasatr sinmrit sabh kahee |2|And she knew Vedas, Shastras and Smritis. 2.
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਨਾਥ ਅਧਿਕ ਡਰੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
taa ko naath adhik ddar paavai |Her husband was very afraid (of Jogi).
ਏਕ ਪੁਰਖ ਤਿਹ ਨਿਤ ਖਵਾਵੈ ॥
ek purakh tih nit khavaavai |(Therefore) a man used to eat him daily.
ਚਿਤ ਕੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਅਤਿ ਧਰੈ ॥
chit ke bikhai traas at dharai |He used to fear a lot in Chit
ਮੇਰੋ ਭਛ ਜੁਗਿਸ ਮਤਿ ਕਰੈ ॥੩॥
mero bhachh jugis mat karai |3|May Jogi eat him only. 3.
ਤਬ ਰਾਨੀ ਹਸਿ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥
tab raanee has bachan uchaare |Then the queen laughed and said,
ਸੁਨੁ ਰਾਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਨ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਯਾਰੇ ॥
sun raajaa praanan te payaare |O king dear to mortals! listen
ਐਸੋ ਜਤਨ ਕ੍ਯੋਨ ਨਹੀ ਕਰੀਯੈ ॥
aaiso jatan kayon nahee kareeyai |Why not make such an effort
ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਉਬਾਰਿ ਜੋਗਿਯਹਿ ਮਰੀਯੈ ॥੪॥
prajaa ubaar jogiyeh mareeyai |4|That the people should be saved by killing the Jogi. 4.
ਰਾਜਾ ਤਨ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
raajaa tan ih bhaat uchaariyo |By saying this to the king
ਅਭਰਨ ਸਕਲ ਅੰਗ ਮੈ ਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
abharan sakal ang mai dhaariyo |(He) decorated his whole body with beautiful ornaments.
ਬਲਿ ਕੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਮਗ੍ਰੀ ਲਈ ॥
bal kee bahut samagree lee |Took a lot of sacrificial material
ਅਰਧ ਰਾਤ੍ਰੀ ਜੋਗੀ ਪਹਿ ਗਈ ॥੫॥
aradh raatree jogee peh gee |5|And went to Jogi at midnight.5.
ਭਛ ਭੋਜ ਤਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਖਵਾਯੋ ॥
bhachh bhoj tih pratham khavaayo |First he ate food
ਅਧਿਕ ਮਦ੍ਰਯ ਲੈ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਪਿਵਾਯੋ ॥
adhik madray lai bahur pivaayo |And then drank a lot of alcohol.
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਆਪੁ ਹਸਿ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥
bahur aap has bachan uchaare |Then you started laughing and saying
ਹੌ ਆਈ ਹਿਤ ਭਜਨ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੬॥
hau aaee hit bhajan tihaare |6|That I have come to enjoy with you. 6.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਜਿਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਤੁਮ ਭਛਤ ਪੁਰਖ ਸੋ ਮੁਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਬਤਾਇ ॥
jih bidh tum bhachhat purakh so muhi pratham bataae |First tell me the way you eat man.
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਰੁਚਿ ਮਾਨਿ ਕਰਿ ਭੋਗ ਕਰੋ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥੭॥
bahur adhik ruch maan kar bhog karo lapattaae |7|Then embrace me with great interest and indulge.7.
ਜਬ ਜੋਗੀ ਐਸੇ ਸੁਨਿਯੋ ਫੂਲ ਗਯੋ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
jab jogee aaise suniyo fool gayo man maeh |When the Jogi heard this, he was very happy
ਆਜ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਸੁਖ ਕਹੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਤਲ ਮੈ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੮॥
aaj baraabar sukh kahoon prithavee tal mai naeh |8|(And began to say that) there is no happiness like today anywhere on earth. 8.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਭਰਭਰਾਇ ਠਾਢਾ ਉਠ ਭਯੋ ॥
bharabharaae tthaadtaa utth bhayo |He stood up in awe
ਰਾਨਿਯਹਿ ਸੰਗ ਆਪੁਨੇ ਲਯੋ ॥
raaniyeh sang aapune layo |and took the queen with him.
ਗਹਿ ਬਹਿਯਾ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਹਰਖਾਯੋ ॥
geh bahiyaa man mai harakhaayo |Holding (his) arm, he was very happy in his heart.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਛੂ ਨਹਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੯॥
bhed abhed kachhoo neh paayo |9|(But he) didn't think anything of difference. 9.
ਬਡੋ ਕਰਾਹ ਬਿਲੋਕਤ ਭਯੋ ॥
baddo karaah bilokat bhayo |(There he saw a) big whole pot
ਸਾਤ ਭਾਵਰਨਿ ਤਾ ਪਰ ਲਯੋ ॥
saat bhaavaran taa par layo |And took seven rounds of it.
ਰਾਨੀ ਪਕਰਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਤਹ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
raanee pakar taeh tah ddaariyo |The queen caught him and threw him into the cauldron.
ਜੀਵਤ ਹੁਤੋ ਭੂੰਜਿ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੦॥
jeevat huto bhoonj kar maariyo |10|They killed the living ones by roasting them. 10.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਆਪਨੋ ਆਪੁ ਬਚਾਇ ਕੈ ਭੂੰਨਿ ਜੋਗਿਯਹਿ ਦੀਨ ॥
aapano aap bachaae kai bhoon jogiyeh deen |Saving herself (the queen) roasted Jogi.
ਲੀਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਉਬਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਚਰਿਤ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਕੀਨ ॥੧੧॥
leenee prajaa ubaar kai charit chanchalaa keen |11|(In this way) the woman saved the people by performing character. 11.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਸੋਲਹ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੧੬॥੪੧੩੪॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau solah charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |216|4134|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 216th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 216.4134. goes on

ਫੈਲਕੂਸ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ਕੇ ਸੂਰ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਪੂਤ ॥
failakoos paatisaah ke soor sikandar poot |Phallucus was the son of a valiant king named Alexander.
ਸੰਬਰਾਰਿ ਲਾਜਤ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਸੀਰਤਿ ਸੂਰਤਿ ਸਪੂਤ ॥੧॥
sanbaraar laajat nirakh seerat soorat sapoot |1|Even Kama Dev ('Sambrari') used to be ashamed to see the character and appearance of that son. 1.

ਰਾਜ ਸਾਜ ਜਬ ਹੀ ਤਿਨ ਧਰਿਯੋ ॥
raaj saaj jab hee tin dhariyo |When he assumed the throne,
ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਜੰਗ ਜੰਗਿਰ ਸੌ ਕਰਿਯੋ ॥
pratham jang jangir sau kariyo |So the first battle was fought with Jangir.
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਦੇਸ ਛੀਨਿ ਕਰਿ ਲੀਨੋ ॥
taa ko des chheen kar leeno |His country was taken away
ਨਾਮੁ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਸਾਹ ਕੋ ਕੀਨੋ ॥੨॥
naam sikandar saah ko keeno |2|And kept his name Sikandar Shah. 2.
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸਾਹ ਦਾਰਾ ਕੌ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
bahur saah daaraa kau maariyo |Then he killed King Darius
ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾ ਕੌ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਪਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
hindusataa kau bahur padhaariyo |And then came up to India.
ਕਨਕਬਜਾ ਏਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੌ ਜਿਨਿਯੋ ॥
kanakabajaa esvar kau jiniyo |(First) conquered the king of Kankubja (or Ashwarja).
ਸਾਮੁਹਿ ਭਯੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਤਿਹ ਝਿਨਿਯੋ ॥੩॥
saamuhi bhayo taeh tih jhiniyo |3|(And whoever) came forward, overcame him. 3.
