ਕਿ ਘਲੈਤਿ ਘਾਯੰ ॥
ki ghalait ghaayan |

They hurt somewhere,

ਕਿ ਝਲੇਤਿ ਚਾਯੰ ॥
ki jhalet chaayan |

(the wounds of others) suffer with anger,

ਕਿ ਡਿਗੈਤਿ ਧੁਮੀ ॥
ki ddigait dhumee |

They fall due to thrashing

ਕਿ ਝੁਮੈਤਿ ਝੁਮੀ ॥੨੫੯॥
ki jhumait jhumee |259|

The blows are being endured with pleasure, the warriors are falling down while swinging and thundering.259.

ਕਿ ਛਡੈਤਿ ਹੂਹੰ ॥
ki chhaddait hoohan |

Somewhere (the wounded warriors) are hungry,

ਕਿ ਸੁਭੇਤਿ ਬ੍ਰਯੂਹੰ ॥
ki subhet brayoohan |

Adorned in marriage,

ਕਿ ਡਿਗੈਤਿ ਚੇਤੰ ॥
ki ddigait chetan |

The fallen are conscious

ਕਿ ਨਚੇਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਤੰ ॥੨੬੦॥
ki nachet pretan |260|

Contacting the numberless spirits, the warriors are lamenting, they are getting unconscious and falling down, the ghosts are dancing.260.

ਕਿ ਬੁਠੇਤਿ ਬਾਣੰ ॥
ki butthet baanan |

Somewhere they shoot arrows,

ਕਿ ਜੁਝੇਤਿ ਜੁਆਣੰ ॥
ki jujhet juaanan |

young men fight,

ਕਿ ਮਥੇਤਿ ਨੂਰੰ ॥
ki mathet nooran |

There is light on (their) heads,

ਕਿ ਤਕੇਤਿ ਹੂਰੰ ॥੨੬੧॥
ki taket hooran |261|

The warriors are fighting catching hold of arrows, the beauty is resplendent on all the faces and the heavenly damsels are looking at the warriors.261.

ਕਿ ਜੁਜੇਤਿ ਹਾਥੀ ॥
ki jujet haathee |

Somewhere they fight by climbing on elephants,

ਕਿ ਸਿਝੇਤਿ ਸਾਥੀ ॥
ki sijhet saathee |

The (adjacent) companions are slain,

ਕਿ ਭਗੇਤਿ ਵੀਰੰ ॥
ki bhaget veeran |

(Those) warriors have fled

ਕਿ ਲਗੇਤਿ ਤੀਰੰ ॥੨੬੨॥
ki laget teeran |262|

The warriors are fighting with the elephants after killing the enemies, they are running away after being hit by the arrows.262.

ਕਿ ਰਜੇਤਿ ਰੋਸੰ ॥
ki rajet rosan |

Somewhere filled with anger,

ਕਿ ਤਜੇਤਿ ਹੋਸੰ ॥
ki tajet hosan |

Consciousness has been abandoned,

ਕਿ ਖੁਲੇਤਿ ਕੇਸੰ ॥
ki khulet kesan |

cases are open,

ਕਿ ਡੁਲੇਤਿ ਭੇਸੰ ॥੨੬੩॥
ki ddulet bhesan |263|

The warriors are lying down unconscious and in their fury, their hair have been loosened and their attires have been damaged.263.

ਕਿ ਜੁਝੇਤਿ ਹਾਥੀ ॥
ki jujhet haathee |

Somewhere they fight on elephants,

ਕਿ ਲੁਝੇਤਿ ਸਾਥੀ ॥
ki lujhet saathee |

(Their) comrades have died fighting,

ਕਿ ਛੁਟੇਤਿ ਤਾਜੀ ॥
ki chhuttet taajee |

The horses are loose,

ਕਿ ਗਜੇਤਿ ਗਾਜੀ ॥੨੬੪॥
ki gajet gaajee |264|

The worriers have been destroyed while fighting with the elephants, the horses are roaming openly and the worriers are thundering. 264.

ਕਿ ਘੁੰਮੀਤਿ ਹੂਰੰ ॥
ki ghunmeet hooran |

Somewhere the hoors are spinning,

ਕਿ ਭੁੰਮੀਤਿ ਪੂਰੰ ॥
ki bhunmeet pooran |

(with them) the earth is filled,

ਕਿ ਜੁਝੇਤਿ ਵੀਰੰ ॥
ki jujhet veeran |

Heroes are being killed,

ਕਿ ਲਗੇਤਿ ਤੀਰੰ ॥੨੬੫॥
ki laget teeran |265|

The heavenly damsels are roaming over the whole earth, on being hit by the arrows the warriors are embracing martyrdom.265.

ਕਿ ਚਲੈਤਿ ਬਾਣੰ ॥
ki chalait baanan |

Somewhere arrows go,

ਕਿ ਰੁਕੀ ਦਿਸਾਣੰ ॥
ki rukee disaanan |

The four directions (with arrows) are stopped,

ਕਿ ਝਮਕੈਤਿ ਤੇਗੰ ॥
ki jhamakait tegan |

Swords shine

ਕਿ ਨਭਿ ਜਾਨ ਬੇਗੰ ॥੨੬੬॥
ki nabh jaan began |266|

With the discharge of the arrows the directions have been hidden from view and the swords are gleaming high up in the sky.266.

ਕਿ ਛੁਟੇਤਿ ਗੋਰੰ ॥
ki chhuttet goran |

Somewhere the bullets are released

ਕਿ ਬੁਠੇਤਿ ਓਰੰ ॥
ki butthet oran |

(as if) it were hailing,

ਕਿ ਗਜੈਤਿ ਗਾਜੀ ॥
ki gajait gaajee |

The warriors are roaring

ਕਿ ਪੇਲੇਤਿ ਤਾਜੀ ॥੨੬੭॥
ki pelet taajee |267|

The ghosts, arising from the graves, are coming towards the battlefield, the warriors are thundering and the horses are running.267.

ਕਿ ਕਟੇਤਿ ਅੰਗੰ ॥
ki kattet angan |

Somewhere limbs are being amputated,

ਕਿ ਡਿਗੇਤਿ ਜੰਗੰ ॥
ki ddiget jangan |

have fallen on the battlefield,

ਕਿ ਮਤੇਤਿ ਮਾਣੰ ॥
ki matet maanan |

There have been resolutions in honor,

ਕਿ ਲੁਝੇਤਿ ਜੁਆਣੰ ॥੨੬੮॥
ki lujhet juaanan |268|

The warriors whose limbs have been chopped, are falling in the war arena and the intoxicated warriors are being killed.268.

ਕਿ ਬਕੈਤਿ ਮਾਰੰ ॥
ki bakait maaran |

Somewhere they say 'kill' 'kill',

ਕਿ ਚਕੈਤਿ ਚਾਰੰ ॥
ki chakait chaaran |

All the four are shocked,

ਕਿ ਢੁਕੈਤਿ ਢੀਠੰ ॥
ki dtukait dteetthan |

Hathi ('Dhithan') is covered,

ਨ ਦੇਵੇਤਿ ਪੀਠੰ ॥੨੬੯॥
n devet peetthan |269|

The cries of “kill, kill” are being heard in all the four directions, the warriors are closing in and are not backing out.269.

ਕਿ ਘਲੇਤਿ ਸਾਗੰ ॥
ki ghalet saagan |

Somewhere spears strike,

ਕਿ ਬੁਕੈਤਿ ਬਾਗੰ ॥
ki bukait baagan |

Goats call,

ਕਿ ਮੁਛੇਤਿ ਬੰਕੀ ॥
ki muchhet bankee |

have crooked moustaches,

ਕਿ ਹਠੇਤਿ ਹੰਕੀ ॥੨੭੦॥
ki hatthet hankee |270|

They are striking blows with their lances, while shouting, the whiskers of those egoists are also charming.270.
