ਭ੍ਰਿਗੰ ਅੰਗੁਰਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਬਿਸਿਸਟੰ ॥
bhrigan anguraa biaas te lai bisisattan |All the sages including Agastya, Bhring, Angira, Vyasa, Vasishtha,
ਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਅਉ ਬਾਲਮੀਕੰ ਸੁ ਅਤ੍ਰੰ ॥
bisvaamitr aau baalameekan su atran |Vishwamitra, Balmik, Atri,
ਦੁਰਬਾਸਾ ਸਭੈ ਕਸਪ ਤੇ ਆਦ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥੬੯੬॥
durabaasaa sabhai kasap te aad lai kai |696|Along with Vishvamitra, Valmiki, Durvasa, Kashyap and Atri came to him.696.
ਜਭੈ ਰਾਮ ਦੇਖੈ ਸਭੈ ਬਿਪ ਆਏ ॥
jabhai raam dekhai sabhai bip aae |When Sri Rama saw that all the Brahmins had come
ਪਰਯੋ ਧਾਇ ਪਾਯੰ ਸੀਆ ਨਾਥ ਜਗਤੰ ॥
parayo dhaae paayan seea naath jagatan |When Ram saw all the Brahmins coming to him, then Ram, the Lord of Sita and the world ran to touch their feet.
ਦਯੋ ਆਸਨੰ ਅਰਘੁ ਪਾਦ ਰਘੁ ਤੇਣੰ ॥
dayo aasanan aragh paad ragh tenan |(Then) Sri Ram gave them a seat to sit on and took Charnamrit
ਦਈ ਆਸਿਖੰ ਮੌਨਨੇਸੰ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੰਨਯੰ ॥੬੯੭॥
dee aasikhan mauananesan prasinayan |697|He gave them seats, washes their feet and all the great sages blessed him with delight.697.
ਭਈ ਰਿਖ ਰਾਮੰ ਬਡੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਚਰਚਾ ॥
bhee rikh raaman baddee giaan charachaa |A great knowledge discussion took place between Rama and the sages.
ਕਹੋ ਸਰਬ ਜੌਪੈ ਬਢੈ ਏਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾ ॥
kaho sarab jauapai badtai ek granthaa |Great discussions pertaining to divine knowledge were held between the sages and ram and if all of it is described, this granth (book) will become voluminous.
ਬਿਦਾ ਬਿਪ੍ਰ ਕੀਨੇ ਘਨੀ ਦਛਨਾ ਦੈ ॥
bidaa bipr keene ghanee dachhanaa dai |(Then) he sent away all the Brahmins after giving many blessings.
ਚਲੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸੰ ਮਹਾ ਚਿਤ ਹਰਖੰ ॥੬੯੮॥
chale des desan mahaa chit harakhan |698|All the sages were bestowed with suitable presents on bidding farewell to them who went away to their places happily.698.
ਇਹੀ ਬੀਚ ਆਯੋ ਮ੍ਰਿਤੰ ਸੂਨ ਬਿਪੰ ॥
eihee beech aayo mritan soon bipan |At the same time there came a Brahmin whose son had died.
ਜੀਐ ਬਾਲ ਆਜੈ ਨਹੀ ਤੋਹਿ ਸ੍ਰਾਪੰ ॥
jeeai baal aajai nahee tohi sraapan |During this period a sage came with the corpse of his dead son and said to Ram, “If my child is not revived, I shall curse you.”
ਸਭੈ ਰਾਮ ਜਾਨੀ ਚਿਤੰ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਾਤਾ ॥
sabhai raam jaanee chitan taeh baataa |Because sons have started dying while still parents due to your fault). Rama took all his words to heart
ਦਿਸੰ ਬਾਰਣੀ ਤੇ ਬਿਬਾਣੰ ਹਕਾਰਯੋ ॥੬੯੯॥
disan baaranee te bibaanan hakaarayo |699|Ram ruminated about it in his mind and started towards the westerly direction in his air-vehicle.699.
ਹੁਤੋ ਏਕ ਸੂਦ੍ਰੰ ਦਿਸਾ ਉਤ੍ਰ ਮਧੰ ॥
huto ek soodran disaa utr madhan |(The reason was that) in the north direction there lived a Shudra,
ਝੁਲੈ ਕੂਪ ਮਧੰ ਪਰਯੋ ਔਧ ਮੁਖੰ ॥
jhulai koop madhan parayo aauadh mukhan |In the north-western direction a Shudra was hanging overturned in a well
ਮਹਾ ਉਗ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਜਾਪ ਪਸਯਾਤ ਉਗ੍ਰੰ ॥
mahaa ugr te jaap pasayaat ugran |(He) the great fast one was doing very heavy penance.
ਹਨਯੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਰਾਮੰ ਅਸੰ ਆਪ ਹਥੰ ॥੭੦੦॥
hanayo taeh raaman asan aap hathan |700|He was performing a penance Ram killed him with his own hand.700.
ਜੀਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੰ ਹਰਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸੋਗੰ ॥
jeeyo braham putran harayo braham sogan |(As soon as the Shudra died) the Brahmin's son died and the Brahmin's grief ended.
ਬਢੀ ਕੀਰਤ ਰਾਮੰ ਚਤੁਰ ਕੁੰਟ ਮਧੰ ॥
badtee keerat raaman chatur kuntt madhan |The son of Brahmin regained his life and his agony ended. The praise of Ram spread in all the four directions.
ਕਰਯੋ ਦਸ ਸਹੰਸ੍ਰ ਲਉ ਰਾਜ ਅਉਧੰ ॥
karayo das sahansr lau raaj aaudhan |(Sri Ram) ruled Ayodhya for ten thousand years
ਫਿਰੀ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਚਾਰੋ ਬਿਖੈ ਰਾਮ ਦੋਹੀ ॥੭੦੧॥
firee chakr chaaro bikhai raam dohee |701|In this way Ram was eulogized all over and the ruled over his kingdom for ten thousand years.701.
ਜਿਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸੰ ਨਰੇਸੰ ਤ ਰਾਮੰ ॥
jine des desan naresan ta raaman |Rama, the king of nations, won.
ਮਹਾ ਜੁਧ ਜੇਤਾ ਤਿਹੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਨਯੋ ॥
mahaa judh jetaa tihoon lok jaanayo |Ram conquered the kings of various countries and he was considered a great conqueror in the three worlds.
ਦਯੋ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਤ੍ਰੰ ਮਹਾਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਭਰਥੰ ॥
dayo mantree atran mahaabhraat bharathan |(He gave his) brother Bharat the post of chief minister
ਕੀਯੋ ਸੈਨ ਨਾਥੰ ਸੁਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਕੁਮਾਰੰ ॥੭੦੨॥
keeyo sain naathan sumitraa kumaaran |702|He made Bharat his ministers and made Lakshman and Shatrughan, the sons of Sumitra, his generals.702.
ਮ੍ਰਿਤਗਤ ਛੰਦ ॥
mritagat chhand |MRITGAT STANZA
ਸੁਮਤਿ ਮਹਾ ਰਿਖ ਰਘੁਬਰ ॥
sumat mahaa rikh raghubar |Sri Rama was a Maharishi of great wisdom.
ਦੁੰਦਭ ਬਾਜਤਿ ਦਰ ਦਰ ॥
dundabh baajat dar dar |The drum is resounding on the door of the great sage Raghuvir (Ram),
ਜਗ ਕੀਅਸ ਧੁਨ ਘਰ ਘਰ ॥
jag keeas dhun ghar ghar |In the homes of the world and in God's people
ਪੂਰ ਰਹੀ ਧੁਨ ਸੁਰਪੁਰ ॥੭੦੩॥
poor rahee dhun surapur |703|And in the whole world, in all houses and in the abode of gods, he was hailed.703.
ਸੁਢਰ ਮਹਾ ਰਘੁਨੰਦਨ ॥
sudtar mahaa raghunandan |Sri Ram's deal doll is very beautiful,
ਜਗਪਤ ਮੁਨ ਗਨ ਬੰਦਨ ॥
jagapat mun gan bandan |Being known with the name of Raghunandan, ram is the lord os the world and is worshipped by the sages..
ਧਰਧਰ ਲੌ ਨਰ ਚੀਨੇ ॥
dharadhar lau nar cheene |Rama has been known by men as the support of all up to the mountain,
ਸੁਖ ਦੈ ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨ ਕੀਨੇ ॥੭੦੪॥
sukh dai dukh bin keene |704|He identified the people on the earth and comforted them, removing their agony.704.
ਅਰ ਹਰ ਨਰ ਕਰ ਜਾਨੇ ॥
ar har nar kar jaane |Sri Ram is known by men as the destroyer of enemies
ਦੁਖ ਹਰ ਸੁਖ ਕਰ ਮਾਨੇ ॥
dukh har sukh kar maane |All the people considered him as the destroyer of enemies, remover of sufferings and the giver of comforts
ਪੁਰ ਧਰ ਨਰ ਬਰਸੇ ਹੈ ॥
pur dhar nar barase hai |The good men serve Rama as the refuge of Ayodhya Puri,
ਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਅਭੈ ਹੈ ॥੭੦੫॥
roop anoop abhai hai |705|All the city of Ayodhya is living in comfort because of his unique personality and the fearless blessings.705.
ਅਨਕਾ ਛੰਦ ॥
anakaa chhand |ANKA STANZA
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ ॥
prabhoo hai |(Sri Rama) is the lord of all,
ਅਜੂ ਹੈ ॥
ajoo hai |are free from lice,
ਅਜੈ ਹੈ ॥
ajai hai |are not won,
ਅਭੈ ਹੈ ॥੭੦੬॥
abhai hai |706|That Ram is God, Infinite, Unconquerable and Fearless.706.
ਅਜਾ ਹੈ ॥
ajaa hai |are unborn
ਅਤਾ ਹੈ ॥
ataa hai |(Supreme) Purusha is,
ਅਲੈ ਹੈ ॥
