ਖੜਗ ਕਾਢ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਲਯੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਨ ਪਕਰਿਯੋ ਕੋਇ ॥
kharrag kaadt kar mai layo mohi na pakariyo koe |(The king) took out a sword in his hand and said, "Don't let anyone catch me."
ਕੈ ਕਾਢੌਂ ਇਹ ਕੈ ਜਰੌਂ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰੈ ਸੋ ਹੋਇ ॥੨੫॥
kai kaadtauan ih kai jarauan karataa karai so hoe |25|Or I'll pull it, or burn. (Before) whatever the doer does, that will happen. 25.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਖੜਗ ਕਾਢਿ ਕਰ ਮਾਝ ਧਵਾਵਤ ਹੈ ਭਯੋ ॥
kharrag kaadt kar maajh dhavaavat hai bhayo |(The king came there) driving the horse with a sword in his hand
ਜਰਤ ਜਹਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਹੁਤੀ ਚਿਤਾ ਮੈ ਪਤਿ ਗਯੋ ॥
jarat jahaa triy hutee chitaa mai pat gayo |Where the woman was burning and the husband entered the pyre.
ਪਕਰ ਭੁਜਾ ਤੇ ਐਂਚਿ ਤਰੁਨ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਲਿਯੋ ॥
pakar bhujaa te aainch tarun tarunee liyo |The king grabbed the woman by the arm and dragged her out
ਹੋ ਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਨ ਪਾਵ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਅਪਨੋ ਦਿਯੋ ॥੨੬॥
ho raaj singhaasan paav bahur apano diyo |26|And then put your feet on the throne. 26.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਨਿਰਖ ਰਾਵ ਤਨ ਕਹਿ ਉਠੇ ਧੰਨ੍ਯ ਧੰਨ੍ਯ ਸਭ ਸੂਰ ॥
nirakh raav tan keh utthe dhanay dhanay sabh soor |Seeing the king, all the warriors started saying blessed.
ਮਰੈ ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਬਾਸਾ ਤਿਨੈ ਜੀਵਤ ਬਾਚਾ ਪੂਰ ॥੨੭॥
marai svarag baasaa tinai jeevat baachaa poor |27|(Such heroes) go to heaven after death and fulfill their words while living. 27.

ਸਭ ਰਾਨਿਨ ਐਸੇ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
sabh raanin aaise sun paayo |When all the queens heard this
ਤਾਹਿ ਜਰਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਆਪੁ ਬਚਾਯੋ ॥
taeh jarat nrip aap bachaayo |That the king himself has saved that rotting woman. (see verb forms)
ਮਰਤ ਹੁਤੀ ਜੀਵਤ ਸੋ ਭਈ ॥
marat hutee jeevat so bhee |What was about to die, she became alive
ਜੀਵਤ ਹੁਤੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਈ ॥੨੮॥
jeevat hutee mritak hvai gee |28|And the one who lived, she died. 28.
ਅਬ ਹਮ ਕੌ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਚਿਤ ਨ ਲਯੈ ਹੈ ॥
ab ham kau nrip chit na layai hai |(The second queen thought) Now the king will not keep me in his palace
ਵਾਹੀ ਕੇ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ਬਸਿ ਜੈ ਹੈ ॥
vaahee ke hvai kai bas jai hai |And it will be inhabited by him.
ਅਬ ਕਛੁ ਐਸ ਉਪਾਇ ਬਨਾਊ ॥
ab kachh aais upaae banaaoo |Now let's do something like that
ਯਾ ਸੌ ਪਤਿ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਮਿਟਾਊ ॥੨੯॥
yaa sau pat kee preet mittaaoo |29|With which I can end my husband's love. 29.
ਦੇਖਹੁ ਇਹ ਰਾਵਹਿ ਕ੍ਯਾ ਕਹਿਯੈ ॥
dekhahu ih raaveh kayaa kahiyai |Look, what should be said to this king.
ਮਨ ਮੈ ਸਮੁਝਿ ਮੌਨਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਿਯੈ ॥
man mai samujh mauan hvai rahiyai |Understand in mind and remain silent.
ਜੋ ਲੈ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਜਾਰ ਕੀ ਜਰੀ ॥
jo lai moorat jaar kee jaree |She is burnt along with Yaar's idol.
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ ਇਤੀ ਇਨ ਕਰੀ ॥੩੦॥
taa ke het itee in karee |30|This (the king) has done so much for him. 30.
ਯਹ ਲੈ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਜਾਰ ਕੀ ਜਰੀ ॥
yah lai moorat jaar kee jaree |The idol of the man it wanted to burn,
ਹ੍ਵੈ ਹੈ ਅਰਧ ਜਰੀ ਹੂੰ ਪਰੀ ॥
hvai hai aradh jaree hoon paree |It is still half burnt.
ਜੌ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਇਹ ਰਾਵ ਨਿਹਾਰੈ ॥
jau taa kau ih raav nihaarai |If this king sees him
ਅਬ ਹੀ ਯਾ ਕੌ ਜਿਯਤੇ ਮਾਰੈ ॥੩੧॥
ab hee yaa kau jiyate maarai |31|So kill him alive now. 31.
ਯੌ ਜਬ ਬੈਨ ਰਾਵ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
yau jab bain raav sun paayo |When the king heard this
ਹੇਰਨ ਤਵਨ ਚਿਤਾ ਕਹ ਆਯੋ ॥
heran tavan chitaa kah aayo |So came to see his pyre.
ਅਰਧ ਜਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਮਾ ਲਹਿ ਲੀਨੀ ॥
aradh jaree pratimaa leh leenee |He took the half burnt idol
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਜੁ ਬਢੀ ਹੁਤੀ ਤਜਿ ਦੀਨੀ ॥੩੨॥
preet ju badtee hutee taj deenee |32|And (for that queen) the love that had increased, abandoned her. 32.
ਤਬ ਬਾਨੀ ਨਭ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਹੋਈ ॥
tab baanee nabh te ih hoee |Then the sky opened
ਉਡਗ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਮਹਿ ਦੋਸੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
auddag prabhaa meh dos na koee |That there is no guilt in 'Udag Prabha' (Udgindra Prabha).
ਬਿਸੁਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਯਹਿ ਚਰਿਤ ਬਨਾਯੋ ॥
bisus prabhaa yeh charit banaayo |Bisusi Prabha' (Bisunath Prabha) has created this character
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਚਿਤ ਤੁਮਰੋ ਡਹਿਕਾਯੋ ॥੩੩॥
taa te chit tumaro ddahikaayo |33|Due to which your mind has become delusional. 33.
ਜਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਤੁਮ ਤਨ ਜਰਿਯੋ ਨ ਗਯੋ ॥
jih triy tum tan jariyo na gayo |From the woman who did not burn for you,
ਤਵਨਿ ਬਾਲ ਅਸਿ ਚਰਿਤ ਬਨਯੋ ॥
tavan baal as charit banayo |That woman has created this character.
ਜਿਨਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੀ ਯਾ ਸੌ ਰੁਚਿ ਬਾਢੈ ॥
jin nrip kee yaa sau ruch baadtai |May the king's love for her increase
ਜੀਯਤ ਹਮੈ ਛੋਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਛਾਡੈ ॥੩੪॥
jeeyat hamai chhor kar chhaaddai |34|And leave us alive. 34.
ਤਬ ਰਾਜੇ ਐਸੇ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
tab raaje aaise sun paaee |Then the king heard this
ਸਾਚੀ ਹੀ ਸਾਚੀ ਠਹਰਾਈ ॥
saachee hee saachee tthaharaaee |Accept the true (verse) as true.
ਉਡਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਤਨ ਅਤਿ ਹਿਤ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
auddag prabhaa tan at hit keeno |(The king) took great interest in Udaga Prabha
ਵਾ ਸੌ ਤ੍ਯਾਗਿ ਨੇਹ ਸਭ ਦੀਨੋ ॥੩੫॥
vaa sau tayaag neh sabh deeno |35|And renounced all love with her (the other). 35.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਉਡਗਿੰਦ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਭਏ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਨ ॥
sree uddagindr prabhaa bhe raaj kariyo sukh maan |The king ruled happily with Sri Udgindra Prabha.
ਬਿਸੁਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਸੰਗ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਦੀਨੀ ਤ੍ਯਾਗ ਨਿਦਾਨ ॥੩੬॥
bisus prabhaa sang dosatee deenee tayaag nidaan |36|Friendship with Bisusi Prabha finally left. 36.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੦੦॥੩੭੬੩॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |200|3763|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 200th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 200.3763. goes on
