Royal Verses:
Then the king took a large army with him
In which crores of warriors and ministers (have joined) by collecting and wearing beautiful armor.
By sticking tridents, saihathis and being pierced with arrows
Warriors have been killed fighting in the battlefield. 10.
Bhujang Verse:
Many warriors have been killed since the start of the war
In the heavy fighting they moved like adherents
Many 'maro-maro' shout like this.
At some places they were inflicted death and at some they relaxed like women.(11)
When warriors from all four sides came and fought.
When the braves from both the sides bellowed, the trumpets and conch-shells started to blow.
When the crowd of fearless warriors ('abhitan') increased,
When the crowds of the fighters amalgamated, the goddess came in shrieking.(12) shrieking.(12)
There Shiva himself took the cord and played it
Shiva beat his drum too and all the sixty-four female yogis, began their singing.
Somewhere the postmen used to respond angrily
The witches honked here and the ghosts performed naked dances.(13)

Then Bikram got angry
Bikrim flew into the rage, and called every body in.
(He) by being more stubborn in Chit
With great determination they gathered there,(14)
There are more warriors coming
Many bravt ones marched forward to sacrifice their lives.
Many bells started ringing
Under recitation ofthe songs of death, the fighting was enhanced.(15)
twenty four:
All those who came (there) were killed.
(There) others, driven by famine, fell down.
who went to the war-ground,
(They) all died fighting and went to heaven. 16.
Thus when the army fought
So not even one hero survived.
Then both the kings stubbornly went on their own
And various bells were played. 17.
Trumpets, naads, lutes played
and Sankha, Dhol and Ran-Singhe Gajje.
At the same time
And all the gods came on planes to see. 18.
Whosoever Bikram attacks him,
Any action Bikrim took, Shri Chandika came and negated it.
He would not get a single injury.
She would let him hit and, considering him (Raja Salwan) as her devotee, always saved him.(19)
Dohira
Expecting him as the zealot ofthe goddess, she did not let him get hurt,
