My old sins are gone.
My birth is now successful.
(He) visited Jagan Nath
And touched the feet with the hands. 4.
Till then the king's daughter came there.
(He) narrating to the father said thus,
Listen! I will stay here today.
I will marry the one who will be called Jagan Nath. 5.
When (she) sleeping there wakes up in the morning
Then spoke to the father thus,
Sughar Sen, who is a chhattri,
Jagan Nath has given me to him. 6.
When the king heard the words like this,
Then the daughter began to say like this.
Jagan Nath whom you have given,
I cannot take it back from him.7.
That fool did not understand some secrets.
Shaved his head with this trick (means cheated).
(The king accepted him as) Jagannath's word.
Mitra (Sughar Sen) went away with Raj Kumari.8.

O Rajan! narrate (to you) an ancient tale,
As Pandits and Maha Munis have said.
There was a king named Mahesra Singh
Before which many kings used to pay taxes. 1.
There was a town called Mahesravati.
(That city looked like this) as if the second Amaravati was beautified.
His likeness cannot be described.
Even Alka (Kuber's Puri) used to get tired of seeing (him). 2.
His daughter was called Gaja Gamini's (Dei).
whose face was likened to the moon and the sun.
Her beauty cannot be overstated.
Even the king and the queen used to get tired (seeing his form) (i.e., they used to turn away from him).3.
He fell in love with one (person),
By doing that, his sleeplessness and hunger ended.
His (person's) name was Gaji Rai
Seeing which women used to get tired. 4.
When no other bets were placed,
So (Ghaji Rai) ordered a boat from him.
Named that (boat) 'Raj Kumari'.
(This matter) all women and men should know. 5.
Gaji Rai sat on that (boat).
And came (shuffling) under the palaces of the king.
(He came and said that) if you want to take a boat, take it
Otherwise, give me some answer. 6.
will take Raj Kumari (meaning boat).
And will sell in another village.
If you want to take a ferry, take it.
Otherwise send me away.7.
The foolish king did not understand.
Day passed and night came.
Raj Kumari then called for fire
And sat in it. 8.
(Deg's) mouth was closed and tied to a boat
And left (the boat) when it reached the middle (meaning - when the wind started blowing).
When the king installed the divan in the morning,
Then he (the ferryman) sent a man there. 9.
If you will not pay the price of the ferry
So I will take Raj Kumari (boat) and go in a bun.
(said the king) let him go, (we) have no value with him.
I have a lot of boats. 10.
After informing the king, he took away his maiden.
The fool (king) could not understand the secret.
When he found out about the daughter in the morning,
So he was sitting with his head down. 11.
