ਨਹੀ ਪਾਵ ਟਰਤ ॥
nahee paav ttarat |The feet do not turn back.
ਮਨਿ ਕੋਪ ਭਰਤ ॥੨੩੫॥
man kop bharat |235|They fall down on the earth after dying and the women of gods are wedding them, the warriors getting enraged in their mind, do not retrace even one step.235.
ਕਰ ਕੋਪ ਮੰਡਤ ॥
kar kop manddat |They fight in anger.
ਪਗ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਨ ਭਜਤ ॥
pag dvai na bhajat |Not even two steps back.
ਕਰਿ ਰੋਸ ਲਰਤ ॥
kar ros larat |They fight in anger.
ਗਿਰ ਭੂਮਿ ਪਰਤ ॥੨੩੬॥
gir bhoom parat |236|Getting infuriated, the warriors do not run for two steps and fighting in anger, they fall on the ground.236.
ਰਣ ਨਾਦ ਬਜਤ ॥
ran naad bajat |In war, sounds are played
ਸੁਣਿ ਮੇਘ ਲਜਤ ॥
sun megh lajat |Hearing (whose tune) the changelings are ashamed.
ਸਭ ਸਾਜ ਸਜਤ ॥
sabh saaj sajat |All (the warriors) are adorned with instruments.
ਪਗ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਨ ਭਜਤ ॥੨੩੭॥
pag dvai na bhajat |237|Because of the sound of the musical instruments of the battlefield the clouds are feeling shy and the bedecked warriors are not retracing, even slightly.237.
ਰਣਿ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਚਲਤ ॥
ran chakr chalat |Circles run across the battlefield
ਦੁਤਿ ਮਾਨ ਦਲਤ ॥
dut maan dalat |(Whose lashka) belittles even the dignity of light ('Duti').
ਗਿਰਿ ਮੇਰੁ ਹਲਤ ॥
gir mer halat |Sumer Parbat is moving.
ਭਟ ਸ੍ਰੋਣ ਪਲਤ ॥੨੩੮॥
bhatt sron palat |238|The striking discs are shattering the glory and pride of the warriors, because of the dreadfulness of war, the Sumeru mountain has also trembled and the steam of the blood of the warriors is flowing.238.
ਰਣ ਰੰਗਿ ਮਚਤ ॥
ran rang machat |The color of war freezes.
ਬਰ ਬੰਬ ਬਜਤ ॥
bar banb bajat |Big bangs sound.
ਰਣ ਖੰਭ ਗਡਤਿ ॥
ran khanbh gaddat |(Warriors) are being driven (like) poles in the field.

asivaar manddat |239|The dreadful war is going on with terrible explosions and the horse-riders are fixing their columns of victory.239.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਕਿਰਤ ॥
kripaan kirat |Swordsmen (warriors) perform feats.
ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਭਿਰਤ ॥
kar kop bhirat |They fight in anger.
ਨਹੀ ਫਿਰੈ ਫਿਰਤ ॥
nahee firai firat |They do not turn back.
ਅਤਿ ਚਿਤ ਚਿਰਤ ॥੨੪੦॥
at chit chirat |240|Holding their swords in fury, the warriors are fighting and fighting with the strength of their mind, they are not moving back.240.

risaavai |are angry,
ਉਠਾਵੈ ॥

chakhaavai |243|They are aiming at the target in fury and carrying the weapons, they are giving the relish of their edges the enemies.243.

apaare |Warriors are unaccountable.

hajaare |Thousands of stubborn

ariaare |244|There are thousands of staunch warriors.244.
ਸੁ ਢੂਕੇ ॥
su dtooke |(those warriors) fit close,
ਕਿ ਕੂਕੇ ॥
ki kooke |challenge,
ਭਭੂਕੇ ॥
bhabhooke |(with anger) are made of coals of fire,
ਕਿ ਝੂਕੇ ॥੨੪੫॥
ki jhooke |245|The shouting and crying warriors have gathered, they are excited and being chopped they are falling and bowing down.245.

su baanan |That of arrows
ਸੁਧਾਣੰ ॥
sudhaanan |Make a target
ਅਚਾਣੰ ॥
achaanan |And suddenly young
