ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੇ ਭੇ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੀ ॥
paarabraham ke bhe anuraagee |Those who abandoned the path of the Vedas and Katebs, they became the devotees of the Lord.
ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਗੂੜ ਮਤਿ ਜੇ ਚਲਹੀ ॥
tin ke goorr mat je chalahee |If (one) will walk according to the solemn principles of Parabraham,
ਭਾਤਿ ਅਨੇਕ ਦੂਖ ਸੋ ਦਲਹੀ ॥੨੦॥
bhaat anek dookh so dalahee |20|Whosoever follows their path, he crushes various types of sufferings.20.
ਜੇ ਜੇ ਸਹਿਤ ਜਾਤਨ ਸੰਦੇਹਿ ॥
je je sahit jaatan sandehi |Those who (sadhaks) endure pain ('jatan') on the body
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਛੋਡਤ ਨੇਹ ॥
prabh ke sang na chhoddat neh |Those who consider the castes illusory, they do not abandon the love of the Lord.
ਤੇ ਤੇ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰੀ ਕਹਿ ਜਾਹੀ ॥
te te param puree keh jaahee |They will all go to God's door (param-puri).
ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਅੰਤਰੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੨੧॥
tin har siau antar kichh naahee |21|When they leave the world, they go to the abode of the Lord, and there is no difference between them and the Lord.21.
ਜੇ ਜੇ ਜੀਯ ਜਾਤਨ ਤੇ ਡਰੇ ॥
je je jeey jaatan te ddare |Those who are afraid of suffering
ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਤਜਿ ਤਿਨ ਮਗਿ ਪਰੇ ॥
param purakh taj tin mag pare |Those who fear the castes and follow their path, abandoning the Supreme Lord.
ਤੇ ਤੇ ਨਰਕ ਕੁੰਡ ਮੋ ਪਰਹੀ ॥
te te narak kundd mo parahee |They will all fall into hell
ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਜਗ ਮੋ ਬਪੁ ਧਰਹੀ ॥੨੨॥
baar baar jag mo bap dharahee |22|They fall into hell and transmigrate again and again.22.
ਤਬ ਹਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਦਤ ਉਪਜਾਇਓ ॥
tab har bahur dat upajaaeio |Then again Hari produced Dattatreya,
ਤਿਨ ਭੀ ਅਪਨਾ ਪੰਥੁ ਚਲਾਇਓ ॥
tin bhee apanaa panth chalaaeio |Then I created Dutt, who also started his own path.
ਕਰ ਮੋ ਨਖ ਸਿਰ ਜਟਾ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥
kar mo nakh sir jattaa savaaree |(He) took nails in his hands and jatas on his head
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥੨੩॥
prabh kee kriaa kachh na bichaaree |23|His followed have long nail in their hands and matted hair on their heads . They did not understand the ways of the Lord.23
ਪੁਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਰਖ ਕੋ ਉਪਰਾਜਾ ॥
pun har gorakh ko uparaajaa |Then Hari produced Gorakh-nath,
ਸਿਖ ਕਰੇ ਤਿਨ ਹੂ ਬਡ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
sikh kare tin hoo badd raajaa |Then I ccreated Gorakh, who made great kings his disciples.
ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਫਾਰਿ ਮੁਦ੍ਰਾ ਦੁਐ ਡਾਰੀ ॥
sravan faar mudraa duaai ddaaree |(He) tore off his ears and put on two earrings,
ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਰੀਤਿ ਨ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥੨੪॥
har kee prat reet na bichaaree |24|His disciples wear rings in their ears and do not know the love of the lord.24.
ਪੁਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮਾਨੰਦ ਕੋ ਕਰਾ ॥
pun har raamaanand ko karaa |Then Hari gave birth to Ramananda
ਭੇਸ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਕੋ ਜਿਨਿ ਧਰਾ ॥
bhes bairaagee ko jin dharaa |Then I created Ramanand, who adopted the path of Bairagi.
ਕੰਠੀ ਕੰਠਿ ਕਾਠ ਕੀ ਡਾਰੀ ॥
kantthee kantth kaatth kee ddaaree |With a wooden stick around the neck,
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥੨੫॥
prabh kee kriaa na kachhoo bichaaree |25|Around his neck he wore necklace of wooden beads and did not comprehend the ways of the Lord.25.
ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਏ ॥
je prabh param purakh upajaae |Lord created those great people,
ਤਿਨ ਤਿਨ ਅਪਨੇ ਰਾਹ ਚਲਾਏ ॥
tin tin apane raah chalaae |All the great Purushas created by me started their own paths.
ਮਹਾਦੀਨ ਤਬਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਉਪਰਾਜਾ ॥
mahaadeen tab prabh uparaajaa |Then the Lord created Hazrat Muhammad ('Mahadin').
ਅਰਬ ਦੇਸ ਕੋ ਕੀਨੋ ਰਾਜਾ ॥੨੬॥
arab des ko keeno raajaa |26|Then I created Muhammed, who was made the master of Arabia.26.
ਤਿਨ ਭੀ ਏਕੁ ਪੰਥੁ ਉਪਰਾਜਾ ॥
tin bhee ek panth uparaajaa |He also ran a religion
ਲਿੰਗ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੀਨੇ ਸਭ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
ling binaa keene sabh raajaa |He started a religion and circumcised all the kings.
ਸਭ ਤੇ ਅਪਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਯੋ ॥
sabh te apanaa naam japaayo |He chanted his name from everyone
ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਾਹੂੰ ਨ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਯੋ ॥੨੭॥
sat naam kaahoon na drirraayo |27|He caused all to utter his name and did not give True Name of the Lord with firmness to anyone.27.
ਸਭ ਅਪਨੀ ਅਪਨੀ ਉਰਝਾਨਾ ॥
sabh apanee apanee urajhaanaa |All were engrossed in their own (ideology),
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਾਹੂੰ ਨ ਪਛਾਨਾ ॥
paarabraham kaahoon na pachhaanaa |Everyone placed his own interest first and foremost and did not comprehend the Supreme Brahman.
ਤਪ ਸਾਧਤ ਹਰਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਬੁਲਾਯੋ ॥
tap saadhat har mohi bulaayo |Hari called me to perform penance
ਇਮ ਕਹਿ ਕੈ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥੨੮॥
eim keh kai ih lok patthaayo |28|When I was busy in the austere devotion, the Lord called me and sent me to this world with the following words.28.
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਾਚ ॥
akaal purakh baach |The Word of the Non-Temporal Lord:
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |CHAUPAI
ਮੈ ਅਪਨਾ ਸੁਤ ਤੋਹਿ ਨਿਵਾਜਾ ॥
mai apanaa sut tohi nivaajaa |I have blessed you as my son
ਪੰਥੁ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ਕਰਬੇ ਕਹ ਸਾਜਾ ॥
panth prachur karabe kah saajaa |I have adopted you as my son and hath created you for the propagation of the path (Panth).
ਜਾਹਿ ਤਹਾ ਤੈ ਧਰਮੁ ਚਲਾਇ ॥
jaeh tahaa tai dharam chalaae |You have to go there and make a religious tour
ਕਬੁਧਿ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਟਾਇ ॥੨੯॥
kabudh karan te lok hattaae |29|“You go therefore for the spread of Dharma (righteousness) and cause people to retrace their steps from evil actions”.29.
ਕਬਿਬਾਚ ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
kabibaach doharaa |The World of the Poet: DOHRA
ਠਾਢ ਭਯੋ ਮੈ ਜੋਰਿ ਕਰ ਬਚਨ ਕਹਾ ਸਿਰ ਨਯਾਇ ॥
tthaadt bhayo mai jor kar bachan kahaa sir nayaae |I stood up with folded hands and bowing down my head, I said:
ਪੰਥ ਚਲੈ ਤਬ ਜਗਤ ਮੈ ਜਬ ਤੁਮ ਕਰਹੁ ਸਹਾਇ ॥੩੦॥
panth chalai tab jagat mai jab tum karahu sahaae |30|“The path (Panth) shall prevail only in the world, with THY ASSISTANCE.”30.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |CHAUPI
ਇਹ ਕਾਰਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੋਹਿ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥
eih kaaran prabh mohi patthaayo |For this reason, the Lord has sent me (to this world).
ਤਬ ਮੈ ਜਗਤਿ ਜਨਮੁ ਧਰਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
tab mai jagat janam dhar aayo |For this reason the Lord sent me and I was born in this world.
ਜਿਮ ਤਿਨ ਕਹੀ ਇਨੈ ਤਿਮ ਕਹਿਹੌ ॥
jim tin kahee inai tim kahihau |As the Lord has said, so will I say to the world;
