ਦਲਿਤੰ ਭੋਗੰ ॥
dalitan bhogan |These Yogis who had been immersed in Yoga and who had withdrawn from all enjoyments,
ਭਗਿਵੇ ਭੇਸੰ ॥
bhagive bhesan |saffron is armor,
ਸੁਫਿਲੇ ਦੇਸੰ ॥੪੧੯॥
sufile desan |419|Had been wearing the ochre-colored clothes of various countries. 419.
ਅਚਲ ਧਰਮੰ ॥
achal dharaman |There is stillness in religion,
ਅਖਿਲ ਕਰਮੰ ॥
akhil karaman |The group is composed of karmas,
ਅਮਿਤ ਜੋਗੰ ॥
amit jogan |Amit is from Yoga,
ਤਜਿਤ ਭੋਗੰ ॥੪੨੦॥
tajit bhogan |420|These Yogis of firm conduct and sinless Karmas had abandoned all enjoyments.420.
ਸੁਫਲ ਕਰਮੰ ॥
sufal karaman |successful in deeds,
ਸੁਬ੍ਰਿਤ ਧਰਮੰ ॥
subrit dharaman |A religious person is the best,
ਕੁਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੰਤਾ ॥
kukrit hantaa |Destroyer of evil deeds,
ਸੁਗਤੰ ਗੰਤਾ ॥੪੨੧॥
sugatan gantaa |421|These vow-observing Yogis of good conduct and sinless Karmas had given up all evil actions.421.
ਦਲਿਤੰ ਦ੍ਰੋਹੰ ॥
dalitan drohan |treasonable,
ਮਲਿਤੰ ਮੋਹੰ ॥
malitan mohan |These were the people who had destroyed attachment and deceit and
ਸਲਿਤੰ ਸਾਰੰ ॥
salitan saaran |The essence is the river ('Salitam'),
ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਚਾਰੰ ॥੪੨੨॥
sukrit chaaran |422|Performers of good actions like the waters of all the sacred rivers.422.
ਭਗਵੇ ਭੇਸੰ ॥
bhagave bhesan |Saffron is disguised,
ਸੁਫਲੰ ਦੇਸੰ ॥
sufalan desan |They were kind-hearted people, wearing ochre-coloured clothes,
ਸੁਹ੍ਰਿਦੰ ਸਰਤਾ ॥
suhridan sarataa |is a river of sincerity,
ਕੁਕ੍ਰਿਤੰ ਹਰਤਾ ॥੪੨੩॥
kukritan harataa |423|Purifying all the countries far and near were the destroyers of evil actions.423.
ਚਕ੍ਰਿਤੰ ਸੂਰੰ ॥
chakritan sooran |The gods ('surana') are wondering,
ਬਮਤੰ ਨੂਰੰ ॥
bamatan nooran |Seeing their radiance even the sun was wonder-struck
ਏਕੰ ਜਪਿਤੰ ॥
ekan japitan |Chanting to the One (God),
ਏਕੋ ਥਪਿਤੰ ॥੪੨੪॥
eko thapitan |424|And someone out of them was repeating the Name of the Lord, and someone was singing the Praises of the Lord.424.
ਰਾਜੰ ਤਜਿਤ੍ਵੰ ॥
raajan tajitvan |has abandoned the kingdom,
ਈਸੰ ਭਵਿਤ੍ਵੰ ॥
eesan bhavitvan |While remembering and repeating the Name of the Lord,
ਜਪੰ ਜਪਿਤ੍ਵੰ ॥
japan japitvan |In chanting the One (Supreme Power).
ਏਕੰ ਥਪਿਤ੍ਵੰ ॥੪੨੫॥
ekan thapitvan |425|They were firmly establishing the Lord in their mind.425.
ਬਜਤੰ ਨਾਦੰ ॥
bajatan naadan |sounds are played,
ਬਿਦਿਤੰ ਰਾਗੰ ॥
biditan raagan |The horns were being sounded and there was the singing of Ragas (musical modes)
ਜਪਤੰ ਜਾਪੰ ॥
japatan jaapan |By chanting the chant
ਤ੍ਰਸਿਤੰ ਤਾਪੰ ॥੪੨੬॥
trasitan taapan |426|The Name of the Lord was being repeated, which had frightened the sins.426.
ਚਕਿਤੰ ਚੰਦੰ ॥
chakitan chandan |The moon is wondering,
ਧਕਤੰ ਇੰਦੰ ॥
dhakatan indan |The moon was wondering and Indra, seeing their devotion, had been fearful
ਤਕਤੰ ਦੇਵੰ ॥
takatan devan |The gods have lived,
ਭਗਤੰ ਭੇਵੰ ॥੪੨੭॥
bhagatan bhevan |427|All the gods were looking at them.427.
ਭ੍ਰਮਤੰ ਭੂਤੰ ॥
bhramatan bhootan |The ghosts are roaming,
ਲਖਿਤੰ ਰੂਪੰ ॥
lakhitan roopan |The ghosts, fiends and ganas, seeing their beauty were wonder-struck
ਚਕ੍ਰਤੰ ਚਾਰੰ ॥
chakratan chaaran |The four (sides) are wondering,
ਸੁਹ੍ਰਿਦੰ ਸਾਰੰ ॥੪੨੮॥
suhridan saaran |428|And all were thinking about them with sincerity.428.
ਨਲਿਨੰ ਸੂਅੰ ॥
nalinan sooan |A parrot sitting on a pipe,
ਲਖਿ ਅਉਧੂਅੰ ॥
lakh aaudhooan |Avadhuta (Datta) saw.
ਚਟ ਦੇ ਛਟਾ ॥
chatt de chhattaa |(Take that parrot out of the cage and) it flew away,
ਭ੍ਰਮ ਤੇ ਜਟਾ ॥੪੨੯॥
bhram te jattaa |429|The Yogi Dut saw there a parrot, who was released from bondage and immediately flew away.429.
ਤਕਿਤੰ ਦੇਵੰ ॥
takitan devan |Seeing (this distinction).
ਬਕਿਤੰ ਭੇਵੰ ॥
bakitan bhevan |Dutt Dev said
ਦਸ ਨਵ ਸੀਸੰ ॥
das nav seesan |That this is my Nineteenth Guru ('Sisam').
ਕਰਮਕ ਦੀਸੰ ॥੪੩੦॥
karamak deesan |430|As soon as the pious Dutt saw him, he flew away and made known to Dutt this secret that the action-prone man with ten senses and none doors was superior amongst beings.430.
