ਨਾਮ ਸਕਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਰਾਖੁ ॥੪੦੭॥
naam sakal sree paas ke cheen chatur chit raakh |407|All the names of Paash are formed by uttering the word “Dusht” in the beginning and then adding “Antyantak”.407.
ਤਨ ਰਿਪੁ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਤ੍ਯਾਤਕ ਕੈ ਦੀਨ ॥
tan rip pritham bakhaan kai antayaatak kai deen |Saying the first 'tan ripu' (word) (then) add the word 'antak' at the end.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚਤੁਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਚੀਨ ॥੪੦੮॥
naam paas ke hot hai chatur leejeeahu cheen |408|Uttering primarily “Tanripu” and then adding “Antyantak”, the names of Paash are formed, which are recognized by the wise persons.408.
ਅਸੁ ਅਰਿ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਤ੍ਯਾਤਕ ਕਹੁ ਭਾਖੁ ॥
as ar aad bakhaan kai antayaatak kahu bhaakh |First say the word 'Asu' 'Ari' (enemy of the soul) and finally say the word 'Antak'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨਿ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਰਾਖੁ ॥੪੦੯॥

ਦਲਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਤ੍ਯਾਤਕ ਕੌ ਦੇਹੁ ॥
dalahaa pritham bakhaan kai antayaatak kau dehu |By first saying 'Dalha' (killer of the army), (then) put the word 'antak' at the end.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੪੧੦॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheen chatur chit lehu |410|The names of Paash are formed by uttering “Dalhaa” in the beginning and then adding “Antyantak”, which O wise men! You may recognize in your mind.410.
ਪ੍ਰਿਤਨਾਤਕ ਪਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤ੍ਯਾਤਕ ਕੈ ਦੀਨ ॥
pritanaatak pad pritham keh antayaatak kai deen |Saying the word 'Pritnantak' (destroyer of armies) first, recite the word 'Antak' at the end.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚਤੁਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਚੀਨ ॥੪੧੧॥
naam paas ke hot hai chatur leejeeahu cheen |411|The names of Paash are formed by uttering the word “Preetnantak” in the beginning and then adding “Antyantak”, which O wise men! You may recognize.411.
ਧੁਜਨੀ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤ੍ਰਯਾਤਕਹਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ॥
dhujanee ar pad pritham keh antrayaatakeh uchaar |First say 'Dhujani Ari' (enemy of the army) and add the word 'antak' at the end.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਸੁਧਾਰਿ ॥੪੧੨॥
naam paas ke hot hai leejahu sukab sudhaar |412|Saying the word “Dhujni-arei” primarily and then adding “Antyantak”, the names of Paash are formed, which O poets! comprehend correctly. 412.
ਆਦਿ ਬਾਹਨੀ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਸਬਦ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
aad baahanee sabad keh rip ar sabad bakhaan |Saying the word 'army' (army) first, (then) say the words 'ripu' and 'ari'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਤਿਵਾਨ ॥੪੧੩॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheen lehu mativaan |413|Uttering the word “Vaahini” and then saying “Ripu Ari”, O wise men! the names of Paash are formed.413.
ਬਾਹਨਿ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
baahan aad bakhaan kai rip ar bahur bakhaan |Say the word 'Bahni' first, then say the word 'Ripu Ari'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਬੁਧਿਵਾਨ ॥੪੧੪॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheen lehu budhivaan |414|Saying “Vaahan” in the beginning and then “Ripu Ari”, the names of Paash are formed, which O wise men! You may recognize.414.
ਸੈਨਾ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ॥
sainaa aad uchaar kai rip ar bahur bakhaan |Pronounce the word 'Sena' first, then say the word 'Ripu Ari'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੪੧੫॥
naam paas ke hot hai leejahu chatur pachhaan |415|The names of Paash are formed by uttering the word “Senaa” firstly and then adding “Ripu Ari”, O wise men! You may recognize them.415.
ਹਯਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਤ੍ਰਯੰਤਕ ਕੈ ਦੀਨ ॥
hayanee aad bakhaan kai antrayantak kai deen |By saying Hayani' (cavalry) first, add the word 'antak' at the end.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚਤੁਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਚੀਨ ॥੪੧੬॥
naam paas ke hot hai chatur leejeeahu cheen |416|The names of Paash are formed by uttering “Hayani” in the beginning and then adding “Antyantak”, which O wise men! You may recognize.416.
ਗੈਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਤ੍ਰਯੰਤਕ ਅਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ॥
gainee aad bakhaan kai antrayantak ar dehu |First add the words 'Gani' (army on elephants) (then) at the end 'Antak Ari'.

ਪਤਿਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ॥
patinee aad bakhaan kai ar pad bahur uchaar |First say the word 'Patini' (infantry) and then add the word 'Ari'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਜਾਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਨਿਰਧਾਰ ॥੪੧੮॥
naam paas ke hot hai jaan lehu niradhaar |418|Saying “Patini” in the beginning and then uttering the word “Ari”, the names of Paash are formed, which you may comprehend clearly.418.
ਰਥਨੀ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰੁ ॥
rathanee aad bakhaan kai rip ar ant uchaar |By saying the word 'Rathni' first, add the word 'Ripu Ari' at the end.
