ਤਨ ਸਾਵਰੇ ਰਾਵਰੇਅੰ ਹੁਲਸੰ ॥
tan saavare raavarean hulasan |

In the same manner Thy dark body hath its glow.

ਰਦ ਪੰਗਤਿ ਦਾਮਿਨੀਅੰ ਦਮੰਕੰ ॥
rad pangat daamineean damankan |

The chain of Thy teeth glitters like lightning

ਘਟ ਘੁੰਘਰ ਘੰਟ ਸੁਰੰ ਘਮਕੰ ॥੫੮॥
ghatt ghunghar ghantt suran ghamakan |58|

The melody of the small bells and gongs is like the thunder of the clouds. 58.

ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ ॥
bhujang prayaat chhand |

BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA

ਘਟਾ ਸਾਵਣੰ ਜਾਣ ਸ੍ਯਾਮੰ ਸੁਹਾਯੰ ॥
ghattaa saavanan jaan sayaaman suhaayan |

Thy beauty appears elegant like the dark clouds of the month of Sawan

ਮਣੀ ਨੀਲ ਨਗਿਯੰ ਲਖ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਆਯੰ ॥
manee neel nagiyan lakh sees niaayan |

Comprehending Thy beautiful form the mountain of blue gems hath bent its head.

ਮਹਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸ੍ਯਾਮੰ ਮਹਾ ਅਭਿਰਾਮੰ ॥
mahaa sundar sayaaman mahaa abhiraaman |

The most beautiful black colour highly fascinates the mind

ਮਹਾ ਰੂਪ ਰੂਪੰ ਮਹਾ ਕਾਮ ਕਾਮੰ ॥੫੯॥
mahaa roop roopan mahaa kaam kaaman |59|

Thou art the most beautiful of the beautiful once and the most passionate of he passionate once.59.

ਫਿਰੈ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਚਉਦਹ ਪੁਰੀਯੰ ਮਧਿਆਣੰ ॥
firai chakr chaudah pureeyan madhiaanan |

The Order of KAL is prevalent in all the fourteen worlds.

ਇਸੋ ਕੌਨ ਬੀਯੰ ਫਿਰੈ ਆਇਸਾਣੰ ॥
eiso kauan beeyan firai aaeisaanan |

Who is the other one who hath the audacity to refuse His Order?

ਕਹੋ ਕੁੰਟ ਕੌਨੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਭਾਜ ਬਾਚੇ ॥
kaho kuntt kauane bikhai bhaaj baache |

Tell me , in which direction you can flee and remain safe?

ਸਭੰ ਸੀਸ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਾਲ ਨਾਚੈ ॥੬੦॥
sabhan sees ke sang sree kaal naachai |60|

Since the KAL dances over the heads of all.60.

ਕਰੇ ਕੋਟ ਕੋਊ ਧਰੈ ਕੋਟਿ ਓਟੰ ॥
kare kott koaoo dharai kott ottan |

Through one may erect millions of forts and may remain under their protection

ਬਚੈਗੋ ਨ ਕਿਉਹੂੰ ਕਰੈ ਕਾਲ ਚੋਟੰ ॥
bachaigo na kiauhoon karai kaal chottan |

Even then in the case of a blow of KAL he will not be saved in any way.

ਲਿਖ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੇ ਪੜੰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਕੋਟੰ ॥
likh jantr kete parran mantr kottan |

Though one may write many Yantras and recite millions of mantras

ਬਿਨਾ ਸਰਨਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਨਹੀ ਔਰ ਓਟੰ ॥੬੧॥
binaa saran taa kee nahee aauar ottan |61|

Even then he cannot be saved. No other shelter can save one without His refuge.61.

ਲਿਖੰ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਥਾਕੇ ਪੜੰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਹਾਰੈ ॥
likhan jantr thaake parran mantr haarai |

The writers of Yantras have grown weary and the reciters of mantras have accepted defeat.

ਕਰੇ ਕਾਲ ਕੇ ਅੰਤ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਿਚਾਰੇ ॥
kare kaal ke ant lai ke bichaare |

But ultimately they all have been destroyed by KAL.

ਕਿਤਿਓ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਧੇ ਜੁ ਜਨਮ ਬਿਤਾਇਓ ॥
kitio tantr saadhe ju janam bitaaeio |

Many Tantras have been tamed and in such endeavours one hath wasted his birth.

ਭਏ ਫੋਕਟੰ ਕਾਜ ਏਕੈ ਨ ਆਇਓ ॥੬੨॥
bhe fokattan kaaj ekai na aaeio |62|

All have become useless and none hath proved useful.62.

ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾਸ ਮੂੰਦੇ ਭਏ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ॥
kite naas moonde bhe brahamachaaree |

Many have become Brahmacharis and have closed their nostrils (in their process of contemplation).

ਕਿਤੇ ਕੰਠ ਕੰਠੀ ਜਟਾ ਸੀਸ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
kite kantth kantthee jattaa sees dhaaree |

Many have worn Kanthi (necklace) on their necks and have matted hair on their heads.

ਕਿਤੇ ਚੀਰ ਕਾਨੰ ਜੁਗੀਸੰ ਕਹਾਯੰ ॥
kite cheer kaanan jugeesan kahaayan |

Many have got their ears perforated and caused others to call them great Yogis.

ਸਭੇ ਫੋਕਟੰ ਧਰਮ ਕਾਮੰ ਨ ਆਯੰ ॥੬੩॥
sabhe fokattan dharam kaaman na aayan |63|

All such religious observances were useless and none of them became useful.63.

ਮਧੁ ਕੀਟਭੰ ਰਾਛਸੇਸੰ ਬਲੀਅੰ ॥
madh keettabhan raachhasesan baleean |

There had been mighty demon-kings like Madhu and Kaitabh

ਸਮੇ ਆਪਨੀ ਕਾਲ ਤੇਊ ਦਲੀਅੰ ॥
same aapanee kaal teaoo daleean |

The KAL crushed them on their turn.

ਭਏ ਸੁੰਭ ਨੈਸੁੰਭ ਸ੍ਰੋਣੰਤਬੀਜੰ ॥
bhe sunbh naisunbh sronantabeejan |

Then there were Sumbah

ਤੇਊ ਕਾਲ ਕੀਨੇ ਪੁਰੇਜੇ ਪੁਰੇਜੰ ॥੬੪॥
teaoo kaal keene pureje purejan |64|

Nisumbh and Sranavat Beef. They were also chopped into bits by KAL.64.

ਬਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਥੀਅੰ ਮਾਨਧਾਤਾ ਮਹੀਪੰ ॥
balee pritheean maanadhaataa maheepan |

The mighty king Prithu and the great sovereign like Mandhata

ਜਿਨੈ ਰਥ ਚਕ੍ਰੰ ਕੀਏ ਸਾਤ ਦੀਪੰ ॥
jinai rath chakran kee saat deepan |

Who had demarcated seven continents with his chariot-wheel.

ਭੁਜੰ ਭੀਮ ਭਰਥੰ ਜਗੰ ਜੀਤ ਡੰਡਿਯੰ ॥
bhujan bheem bharathan jagan jeet ddanddiyan |

The king Bhim and the Bharat, who had conquered and brought the world under their control with the strength of arms

ਤਿਨੈ ਅੰਤ ਕੇ ਅੰਤ ਕੌ ਕਾਲ ਖੰਡਿਯੰ ॥੬੫॥
tinai ant ke ant kau kaal khanddiyan |65|

. They were all destroyed by KAL when they were nearing their end.65.

ਜਿਨੈ ਦੀਪ ਦੀਪੰ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਫਿਰਾਈ ॥
jinai deep deepan duhaaee firaaee |

He who hath created the frightening dominance of His Name.

ਭੁਜਾ ਦੰਡ ਦੈ ਛੋਣਿ ਛਤ੍ਰੰ ਛਿਨਾਈ ॥
bhujaa dandd dai chhon chhatran chhinaaee |

He who had snatched the earth from the Kshatriyas with the strength of staff-like arms.

ਕਰੇ ਜਗ ਕੋਟੰ ਜਸੰ ਅਨਿਕ ਲੀਤੇ ॥
kare jag kottan jasan anik leete |

He who had performed millions of Yajnas (sacrifices) and erned multi-faceted approbation.

ਵਹੈ ਬੀਰ ਬੰਕੇ ਬਲੀ ਕਾਲ ਜੀਤੇ ॥੬੬॥
vahai beer banke balee kaal jeete |66|

Even that winsome warrior (Parasuram) hath been conquered by KAL.66.

ਕਈ ਕੋਟ ਲੀਨੇ ਜਿਨੈ ਦੁਰਗ ਢਾਹੇ ॥
kee kott leene jinai durag dtaahe |

Those who had conquered millions of forts and razed them.

ਕਿਤੇ ਸੂਰਬੀਰਾਨ ਕੇ ਸੈਨ ਗਾਹੇ ॥
kite soorabeeraan ke sain gaahe |

Those who had treaded the forces of innumerable warriors.

ਕਈ ਜੰਗ ਕੀਨੇ ਸੁ ਸਾਕੇ ਪਵਾਰੇ ॥
kee jang keene su saake pavaare |

Those who had indulged in many wars events and disputes

ਵਹੈ ਦੀਨ ਦੇਖੈ ਗਿਰੇ ਕਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ॥੬੭॥
vahai deen dekhai gire kaal maare |67|

I have seen them subdued and killed by KAL.67

ਜਿਨੈ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੀ ਕਰੀ ਕੋਟਿ ਜੁਗਿਯੰ ॥
jinai paatisaahee karee kott jugiyan |

Those who had ruled for millions of ages

ਰਸੰ ਆਨਰਸੰ ਭਲੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਭੁਗਿਯੰ ॥
rasan aanarasan bhalee bhaat bhugiyan |

And had enjoyed nicely the pleasures and vicious tastes.

ਵਹੈ ਅੰਤ ਕੋ ਪਾਵ ਨਾਗੇ ਪਧਾਰੇ ॥
vahai ant ko paav naage padhaare |

They had ultimately gone with naked feet. I have seen them having been subdued

ਗਿਰੇ ਦੀਨ ਦੇਖੇ ਹਠੀ ਕਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ॥੬੮॥
gire deen dekhe hatthee kaal maare |68|

Fallen and killed by the persistent KAL.68.

ਜਿਨੈ ਖੰਡੀਅੰ ਦੰਡ ਧਾਰੰ ਅਪਾਰੰ ॥
jinai khanddeean dandd dhaaran apaaran |

He who had destroyed many kings

ਕਰੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਸੂਰ ਚੇਰੇ ਦੁਆਰੰ ॥
kare chandramaa soor chere duaaran |

He who had enslaved the moon and the sun in his house.

ਜਿਨੈ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਸੇ ਜੀਤ ਕੇ ਛੋਡਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
jinai indr se jeet ke chhodd ddaare |

He (as Ravana) had conquered the god Indra in war

ਵਹੈ ਦੀਨ ਦੇਖੇ ਗਿਰੇ ਕਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ॥੬੯॥
vahai deen dekhe gire kaal maare |69|

And later released him. I have seen (him and Meghnad) being subdued fallen and killed by KAL.69.
