ਰਾਨੀ ਭੂਪਤ ਸਹਿਤ ਪੁਕਾਰੀ ॥
raanee bhoopat sahit pukaaree |The king along with the queen began to shout
ਕਵਨ ਦੈਵ ਗਤਿ ਕਰੀ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥
kavan daiv gat karee hamaaree |Oh God! What condition have you made us?
ਖੇਲਤ ਅਗਿ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਇਨ ਦਈ ॥
khelat ag kuar in dee |In the course of the game he set fire (to the cannon).

ਅਛਲਾਪੁਰ ਇਕ ਭੂਪ ਭਨਿਜੈ ॥

ਸੁਨਤ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਬਚਨ ਸਜਨ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਗਈ ॥
sunat sahacharee bachan sajan ke grih gee |After hearing (Raj Kumari's) words, Sakhi went to Mitra's house.
ਜਿਮਿ ਤਿਮਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਬੋਧ ਤਹਾ ਲ੍ਯਾਵਤ ਭਈ ॥

ਮਿਲਤ ਛੈਲਨੀ ਛੈਲ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਯੋ ॥

ਮਨ ਮੈ ਭਏ ਅਨੰਦ ਨ ਕਾਹੂੰ ਤੇ ਡਰੈਂ ॥
man mai bhe anand na kaahoon te ddarain |He started enjoying in his heart without fearing anyone.
ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਕਰ ਜਾਹਿ ਸੁ ਛਿਨਿਕ ਨ ਛੋਰਹੀ ॥
lapatt lapatt kar jaeh su chhinik na chhorahee |(They were clinging to each other) and not letting go even for an inch.
ਹੋ ਸਕਲ ਦ੍ਰਪ ਕੰਦ੍ਰਪ ਕੋ ਤਹਾ ਮਰੋਰਹੀ ॥੬॥
ho sakal drap kandrap ko tahaa marorahee |6|(They) were breaking all the pride of Kam Dev there. 6.

ਭੋਗ ਕਰਤ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥

ਕਰਤ ਕੇਲ ਰਜਨਿਯਹਿ ਬਿਤਾਯੋ ॥

ਪਹਿਲੀ ਰਾਤਿ ਬੀਤ ਜਬ ਗਈ ॥
pahilee raat beet jab gee |When the first (half) night passed,
ਪਾਛਿਲ ਰੈਨਿ ਰਹਤ ਸੁਧਿ ਲਈ ॥੭॥
paachhil rain rahat sudh lee |7|Then during the last night (they) came to their senses. 7.
ਕਹਾ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਉਠਿ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਅਰ ਸੰਗ ॥
kahaa kuar utth raaj kuar sang |Kumar told Raj Kumari,
ਕਬਹੂੰ ਛਾਡ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਤੈ ਅੰਗ ॥
kabahoon chhaadd hamaaraa tai ang |Now leave my body.
ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਪੁਰਖ ਹਮੈ ਲਹਿ ਜੈਹੈ ॥
jo koee purakh hamai leh jaihai |If anyone sees us,
ਜਾਇ ਰਾਵ ਤਨ ਭੇਦ ਬਤੈਹੈ ॥੮॥
jaae raav tan bhed bataihai |8|Then he will go to the king and tell the secret. 8.
ਸਾਹੁ ਸੁਤਾ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਾ ॥
saahu sutaa ih bhaat uchaaraa |The Shah's daughter said (before) thus,
ਬੈਨ ਸੁਨੋ ਮਮ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰਾ ॥
bain suno mam raaj kumaaraa |Hey Raj Kumar! listen to me.
ਸਭਨ ਲਖਤ ਤੁਹਿ ਕੈਫ ਪਿਲਾਊਾਂ ॥
sabhan lakhat tuhi kaif pilaaooaan |(I will) make you drink in front of everyone,
ਤਬੈ ਸਾਹ ਕੀ ਸੁਤਾ ਕਹਾਊਾਂ ॥੯॥
tabai saah kee sutaa kahaaooaan |9|Only then will I be called Shah's daughter. 9.
ਤਹ ਹੀ ਰਮੋ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ਸੰਗਾ ॥
tah hee ramo tihaare sangaa |(Then) by connecting his limb with (your) limb
ਅਪਨੇ ਜੋਰਿ ਅੰਗ ਸੌ ਅੰਗਾ ॥
apane jor ang sau angaa |will join you.
ਹਮੈ ਤੁਮੈ ਸਭ ਲੋਗ ਨਿਹਾਰੈ ॥
hamai tumai sabh log nihaarai |I will see you all people
ਭਲੋ ਬੁਰੋ ਨਹਿ ਭੇਦ ਬਿਚਾਰੈ ॥੧੦॥
bhalo buro neh bhed bichaarai |10|And they will not consider the difference between good and bad. 10.
