ਕਿ ਹੈਫ਼ ਅਸਤ ਸਦ ਹੈਫ਼ ਈਂ ਸਰਵਰੀ ॥੬੭॥
ki haif asat sad haif een saravaree |67|I feel sorry at your sovereignty.67.
ਕਿ ਅਜਬਸਤੁ ਅਜਬਸਤੁ ਫ਼ਤਵਹ ਸ਼ੁਮਾ ॥
ki ajabasat ajabasat fatavah shumaa |I wonder very much regarding your faith
ਬਜੁਜ਼ ਰਾਸਤੀ ਸੁਖ਼ਨ ਗੁਫ਼ਤਨ ਜ਼ਿਯਾਂ ॥੬੮॥
bajuz raasatee sukhan gufatan ziyaan |68|Anything said against truth brings downfall.68.
ਮਜ਼ਨ ਤੇਗ਼ ਬਰ ਖ਼ੂੰਨਿ ਕਸ ਬੇਦਰੇਗ਼ ॥
mazan teg bar khoon kas bedareg |Do not be rash in striking your sword on helpless,
ਤੁਰਾ ਨੀਜ਼ ਖ਼ੂੰ ਚਰਖ਼ ਬਤੇਗ਼ ॥੬੯॥
turaa neez khoon charakh bateg |69|otherwise the Providence will shed your blood.69.
ਤੂ ਗ਼ਾਫ਼ਲ ਮਸ਼ੌ ਮਰਦਿ ਯਜ਼ਦਾਂ ਹਿਰਾਸ ॥
too gaafal mashau marad yazadaan hiraas |Do not be careless, recognize the Lord,
ਕਿ ਓ ਬੇਨਯਾਜ਼ਸਤੁ ਓ ਬੇਸਪਾਸ ॥੭੦॥
ki o benayaazasat o besapaas |70|who is averse to greed and flattery.70.
ਕਿ ਊ ਬੇਮੁਹਾਬਸਤੁ ਸ਼ਾਹਾਨਿਸ਼ਾਹ ॥
ki aoo bemuhaabasat shaahaanishaah |He, the Sovereign of Sovereigns, fears none
ਜ਼ਿਮੀਨੋ ਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਰਾ ਸੱਚਾਏ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ॥੭੧॥
zimeeno zamaan raa sachaae paatashaah |71|He is the Master of the earth and heavens.71.
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿ ਏਜ਼ਦ ਜ਼ਿਮੀਨੋ ਜ਼ਮਾ ॥
khudaavand ezad zimeeno zamaa |He, the True Lord, is the Master of both the worlds
ਕੁਨਿੰਦਸਤ ਹਰ ਕਸ ਮਕੀਨੋ ਮਕਾਂ ॥੭੨॥
kunindasat har kas makeeno makaan |72|He is the Creator of all the creatures of the universe.72.
ਹਮਅਜ਼ ਪਰਿ ਮੋਰੋ ਹਮਜ਼ ਪੀਲਤਨ ॥
hamaz par moro hamaz peelatan |He is the Presever of all, from ant to elephant
ਕਿ ਆਜਿਜ਼ ਨਿਵਾਜ਼ਸਤੁ ਗ਼ਾਫ਼ਲ ਸ਼ਿਕਨ ॥੭੩॥
ki aajiz nivaazasat gaafal shikan |73|He gives strength to the helpless and destroys the careless.73.
ਕਿ ਊ ਰਾ ਚੁ ਇਸਮਸਤ ਆਜਿਜ਼ ਨਿਵਾਜ਼ ॥
ki aoo raa chu isamasat aajiz nivaaz |The True Lord is known as ‘Prtector of the lowly’
ਕਿ ਊ ਬੇ ਸਪਾਸ ਅਸਤ ਓ ਬੇ ਨਿਆਜ਼ ॥੭੪॥
ki aoo be sapaas asat o be niaaz |74|He is carefree and free from want.74.
ਕਿ ਓ ਬੇਨਿਗੂੰ ਅਸਤ ਓ ਬੇਚਗੂੰ ॥
ki o benigoon asat o bechagoon |He is Unassailable and Unparalleled
ਕਿ ਓ ਰਹਿਨੁਮਾ ਅਸਤ ਓ ਰਹਿਨਮੂੰ ॥੭੫॥
ki o rahinumaa asat o rahinamoon |75|He shows the path as a Guide.75.
ਕਿ ਬਰਸਰ ਤੁਰਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਕਸਮਿ ਕੁਰਆਂ ॥
ki barasar turaa faraz kasam kuraan |You are strained by the oath of the Quran,
ਬ ਗੁਫ਼ਤਹ ਸ਼ੁਮਾ ਕਾਰਿ ਖ਼ੂਬੀ ਰਸਾਂ ॥੭੬॥
b gufatah shumaa kaar khoobee rasaan |76|therefore, fulfil the promise made by you.76.
ਬਬਾਯਦ ਤੁ ਦਾਨਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੀ ਕੁਨੀ ॥
babaayad tu daanash prasatee kunee |It is appropriate for you to become sane
ਬ ਕਾਰਿ ਸ਼ੁਮਾ ਚੀਰਹ ਦਸਤੀ ਕੁਨੀ ॥੭੭॥
b kaar shumaa cheerah dasatee kunee |77|and do your task with severity.77.
ਚਿਹਾ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਕਿ ਚੂੰ ਬੱਚਗਾਂ ਕੁਸ਼ਤਹ ਚਾਰ ॥
chihaa shud ki choon bachagaan kushatah chaar |What, if you have killed my four sons,
ਕਿ ਬਾਕੀ ਬਿਮਾਂਦਸਤ ਪੇਚੀਦਾ ਮਾਰ ॥੭੮॥
ki baakee bimaandasat pecheedaa maar |78|the hooded cobra still sits coiled up.78.
ਚਿ ਮਰਦੀ ਕਿ ਅਖ਼ਗਰ ਖ਼ਾਮੋਸ਼ਾ ਕੁਨੀ ॥
chi maradee ki akhagar khaamoshaa kunee |What type of bravery it is to extinguish the speak
ਕਿ ਆਤਸ਼ ਦਮਾਂ ਰਾ ਬਦਉਰਾਂ ਕੁਨੀ ॥੭੯॥
ki aatash damaan raa bdauraan kunee |79|of fire and fan the flames.79.
ਚਿ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਗੁਫ਼ਤ ਫ਼ਿਰਦੌਸੀਏ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਂ ॥
chi khush gufat firadauasee khush zubaan |Listen to this well-said quotation of Firdausi:
ਸ਼ਿਤਾਬੀ ਬਵਦ ਕਾਰਿ ਅਹਰਿਮਨਾ ॥੮੦॥
shitaabee bavad kaar aharimanaa |80|"The hasty action is the work of Satan".80.
ਕਿ ਮਾ ਬਾਰਗਹਿ ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਆਯਮ ਸ਼ੁਮਾ ॥
ki maa baarageh hazarat aayam shumaa |I have also come from the abode of Your Lord,
ਅਜ਼ਾਂ ਰੋਜ਼ ਬਾਸ਼ੀ ਵ ਸ਼ਾਹਿਦ ਹਮਾ ॥੮੧॥
azaan roz baashee v shaahid hamaa |81|who will be the witness on the day of Judgement.81.
ਵਗਰਨਹ ਤੁ ਈਂ ਰਾ ਫ਼ਰਾਮੁਸ਼ ਕੁਨਦ ॥
vagaranah tu een raa faraamush kunad |If you prepare yourself for the good action,
ਤੁਰਾ ਹਮ ਫ਼ਰਾਮੋਸ਼ ਯਜ਼ਦਾਂ ਕੁਨਦ ॥੮੨॥
turaa ham faraamosh yazadaan kunad |82|the Lord will give you an apt reward.82.
ਬਰੀਂ ਕਾਰਿ ਗਰ ਤੂ ਬ ਬਸਤੀ ਕਮਰ ॥
bareen kaar gar too b basatee kamar |If you forget this task of Justice,
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਤੁਰਾ ਬਹਿਰਾਵਰ ॥੮੩॥
khudaavand baashad turaa bahiraavar |83|the Lord will forget you.83.
ਕਿ ਈਂ ਕਾਰ ਨੇਕਸਤੁ ਦੀਂ ਪਰਵਰੀ ॥
ki een kaar nekasat deen paravaree |The righteous has to tread the path of truth and virtue,
ਚੁ ਯਜ਼ਦਾਂ ਸ਼ਨਾਸੀ ਬ ਜਾਂ ਬਰਤਰੀ ॥੮੪॥
chu yazadaan shanaasee b jaan barataree |84|but it is still better to recognize the Lord.84.
ਤੁਰਾ ਮਨ ਨ ਦਾਨਮ ਕਿ ਯਜ਼ਦਾਂ ਸ਼ਨਾਸ ॥
turaa man na daanam ki yazadaan shanaas |I do not believe that man recognizes the Lord,
ਬਰਾਮਦ ਜ਼ਿ ਤੋ ਕਾਰਹਾ ਦਿਲ ਖ਼ਰਾਸ਼ ॥੮੫॥
baraamad zi to kaarahaa dil kharaash |85|who injures the sentiments of others through his action.85.
ਸ਼ਨਾਸਦ ਹਮੀਂ ਤੂ ਨ ਯਜ਼ਦਾ ਕਰੀਮ ॥
shanaasad hameen too na yazadaa kareem |The Ture and Merciful Lord does not love you,
ਨ ਖ਼੍ਵਾਹਦ ਹਮੀ ਤੂ ਬਦੌਲਤ ਅਜ਼ੀਮ ॥੮੬॥
n khvaahad hamee too badaualat azeem |86|though you have unaccountable wealth.86.
ਅਗਰ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਆਂ ਬਖ਼ੁਰਦੀ ਕਸਮ ॥
agar sad kuraan bakhuradee kasam |Even if you swear a hundred times by the Quran,
ਮਰਾ ਏਅਤਬਾਰੇ ਨ ਈਂ ਜ਼ੱਰਹ ਦਮ ॥੮੭॥
maraa eatabaare na een zarah dam |87|I shall never trust you.87.
ਹਜ਼ੂਰਤੁ ਨ ਆਯਮ ਨ ਈਂ ਰਹ ਸ਼ਵਮ ॥
hazoorat na aayam na een rah shavam |I cannot come to you and am not prepared to tread your path of oaths
ਅਗਰ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਖ਼੍ਵਾਹਦ ਮਨ ਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਵਮ ॥੮੮॥
agar shaah bakhvaahad man aan jaa ravam |88|I shall go, wherever my Lord will ask me to go.88.
ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਸ਼ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਸ਼ਾਹਾਨਿ ਅਉਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ॥
khushash shaah shaahaan aaurangazeb |You are king of king, O fortunate Aurangzeb
ਕਿ ਚਾਲਾਕ ਦਸਤਸਤ ਚਾਬਕ ਰਕੇਬ ॥੮੯॥
ki chaalaak dasatasat chaabak rakeb |89|You are a clever administrator and a good horseman.89.
ਚਿ ਹੁਸਨੁਲ ਜਮਾਲਸਤ ਰੳਸਸ਼ਨ ਜ਼ਮੀਰ ॥
chi husanul jamaalasat rasashan zameer |With the help of your intelligence and the sword,
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿ ਮੁਲਕ ਅਸਤ ਸਾਹਿਬਿ ਅਮੀਰ ॥੯੦॥
khudaavand mulak asat saahib ameer |90|you have become the master of Deg and Tegh.90.
ਬਤਰਤੀਬ ਦਾਨਿਸ਼ ਬਤਦਬੀਰ ਤੇਗ਼ ॥
batarateeb daanish batadabeer teg |You are the acme of beauty and wisdom
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿ ਦੇਗ਼ੋ ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿ ਤੇਗ਼ ॥੯੧॥
khudaavand dego khudaavand teg |91|You are the chief of chiefs and the king.91.
ਕਿ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਜ਼ਮੀਰ ਅਸਤ ਹੁਸਨੁਲ ਜਮਾਲ ॥
ki rauashan zameer asat husanul jamaal |You are the acme of beauty and wisdom
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਏ ਮੁਲਕੋ ਮਾਲ ॥੯੨॥
khudaavand bakhashinde mulako maal |92|You are the master of the country and its wealth.92.
ਕਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਬੀਰ ਅਸਤ ਦਰ ਜੰਗ ਕੋਹ ॥
ki bakhashish kabeer asat dar jang koh |You are most generous and a mountain in the battlefield
ਮਲਾਇਕ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਚੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਯਾ ਸ਼ਿਕੋਹ ॥੯੩॥
malaaeik sifat choon surayaa shikoh |93|You are like angels wielding high splendour.93.
ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਉਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਆਲਮੀਂ ॥
shahinashaah aaurangazeb aalameen |Though you are the king of kings, O Aurangzeb!
ਕਿ ਦਾਰਾਇ ਦੌਰ ਅਸਤ ਦੂਰਸਤ ਦੀਂ ॥੯੪॥
ki daaraae dauar asat doorasat deen |94|You are far from righteousness and justice.94.
ਮਨਮ ਕੁਸ਼ਤਨਮ ਕੋਹੀਆਂ ਪੁਰ ਫ਼ਿਤਨ ॥
manam kushatanam koheean pur fitan |I vanquished the vicious hill chiefs,
ਕਿ ਓ ਬੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੰਦ ਮਨ ਬੁਤ ਸ਼ਿਕਨ ॥੯੫॥
ki o but prasatand man but shikan |95|they were idol-worshippers and I am idol-breaker.95.
ਬਬੀਂ ਗਰਦਸ਼ੇ ਬੇਵਫ਼ਾਏ ਜ਼ਮਾਂ ॥
babeen garadashe bevafaae zamaan |Look at the time-cycle,
ਪਸੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਤ ਉਫ਼ਤਦ ਰਸਾਨਦ ਜ਼ਯਾ ॥੯੬॥
pase pushat ufatad rasaanad zayaa |96|quite undependable whosoever it pursues, it brings his decline.96.
ਬਬੀਂ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਨੇਕ ਯਜ਼ਦਾਨਿ ਪਾਕ ॥
babeen kudarat nek yazadaan paak |Think of the power of the Holy Lord,
ਅਜ਼ ਯਕ ਬ ਦਹ ਲਖ਼ ਰਸਾਨਦ ਹਲਾਕ ॥੯੭॥
az yak b dah lakh rasaanad halaak |97|which causes one persons to kill lakhs of people.97.
ਚਿ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ ਕੁਨਦ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਂ ਅਸਤ ਦੋਸਤ ॥
chi dushaman kunad miharabaan asat dosat |If God is friendly, no enemy can do anything
ਕਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਕਾਰਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਹ ਓਸਤ ॥੯੮॥
ki bakhashindagee kaar bakhashindah osat |98|The generous action proceed from the merciful Lord.98.
ਰਿਹਾਈ ਦਿਹੋ ਰਹਿਨੁਮਾਈ ਦਿਹਦ ॥
rihaaee diho rahinumaaee dihad |He is the Emancipator and the Guide,
ਜ਼ਬਾ ਰਾ ਬ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਆਸ਼ਨਾਈ ਦਿਹਦ ॥੯੯॥
zabaa raa b sifat aashanaaee dihad |99|who causes our tongue to sing His Praises.99.
ਖ਼ਸਮ ਰਾ ਚੁ ਕੋਰ ਊ ਕੁਨਦ ਵਕਤੇ ਕਾਰ ॥
khasam raa chu kor aoo kunad vakate kaar |In throubled times He withdraws the faculty of sight from the enemies
ਯਤੀਮਾਂ ਬਿਰੂੰ ਬੁਰਦ ਬੇਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਖ਼ਾਰ ॥੧੦੦॥
yateemaan biroon burad bezakham khaar |100|He releases without injury the suppressed and the lowly.100.
ਹਰਾਂ ਕਸ ਕਿ ਊ ਰਾਸਤਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੁਨਦ ॥
haraan kas ki aoo raasatabaazee kunad |He, who is truthful and follows the right path,
ਰਹੀਮੇ ਬਰੋ ਰਹਿਮਸਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੁਨਦ ॥੧੦੧॥
raheeme baro rahimasaazee kunad |101|the Merciful Lord is Graceful towards him.101.
ਕਸੇ ਖ਼ਿਦਮਤ ਆਯਦ ਬਸੇ ਦਿਲੋ ਜਾਂ ॥
kase khidamat aayad base dilo jaan |He, who surrenders his mind and body to Him,
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦ ਬਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੰਦ ਬਰ ਵੈ ਅਮਾਂ ॥੧੦੨॥
khudaavand bi bakhashand bar vai amaan |102|the True Lord is Graceful towards him.102.
ਚਿ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ ਕਜ਼ਾਂ ਹੀਲਹਸਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੁਨਦ ॥
chi dushaman kazaan heelahasaazee kunad |No enemy can ever beguile him,
