ਕਛਪ ਕੇਤੁ ਗਦਾ ਗਹਿ ਘਾਯੋ ॥
kachhap ket gadaa geh ghaayo |(Then) Kachhap Ketu took the mace and killed him
ਕੇਤੁ ਲੂਕ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਲੋਕ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥੭੬॥
ket look mrit lok patthaayo |76|And Luke sent Ketu to the underworld. 76.
ਜਾ ਤਨ ਬਾਲ ਗਦਾ ਕੀ ਮਾਰੈ ॥
jaa tan baal gadaa kee maarai |On whose body Raj Kumari used to strike the mace,
ਏਕੈ ਘਾਇ ਚੌਥਿ ਸਿਰ ਡਾਰੈ ॥
ekai ghaae chauath sir ddaarai |With a single stroke she would crush (his) head.
ਜਾ ਕੇਤਕਿ ਮਾਰ ਤਨ ਬਾਨਾ ॥
jaa ketak maar tan baanaa |By shooting arrows into the bodies of so many heroes
ਕਰੈ ਬੀਰ ਜਮਪੁਰੀ ਪਯਾਨਾ ॥੭੭॥
karai beer jamapuree payaanaa |77|Sent them to Jampuri.77.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਜੁਧੁ ਬਿਲੋਕਿ ਕਰਿ ਕਵਨ ਸੁਭਟ ਠਹਰਾਇ ॥
taa ko judh bilok kar kavan subhatt tthaharaae |What warrior could endure seeing his war.
ਜੋ ਸਮੁਹੈ ਆਵਤ ਭਯਾ ਜਮਪੁਰ ਦਿਯਾ ਪਠਾਇ ॥੭੮॥
jo samuhai aavat bhayaa jamapur diyaa patthaae |78|Whoever came forward, he was sent to Yampur. 78.
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥
savaiyaa |Self:
ਕੋਪ ਅਨੇਕ ਭਰੇ ਅਮਰਾਰਦਨ ਆਨਿ ਪਰੈ ਕਰਵਾਰਿ ਉਘਾਰੇ ॥
kop anek bhare amaraaradan aan parai karavaar ughaare |Many enemies of the gods (demons) got angry and came with swords.
ਪਟਿਸ ਲੋਹਹਥੀ ਪਰਸੇ ਅਮਿਤਾਯੁਧ ਲੈ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
pattis lohahathee parase amitaayudh lai kar kop prahaare |Belts, iron arms and purses and many other weapons came in anger.
ਨਾਰਿ ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ਹਥਯਾਰ ਸੁਰਾਰਿ ਹਕਾਰਿ ਹਨੇ ਨਹਿ ਜਾਤ ਬਿਚਾਰੇ ॥
naar sanbhaar hathayaar suraar hakaar hane neh jaat bichaare |That Raj Kumari took weapons and defiantly killed the enemies of the gods, who could not be counted.
ਖੇਲਿ ਬਸੰਤ ਬਡੇ ਖਿਲਵਾਰ ਮਨੋ ਮਦ ਚਾਖਿ ਗਿਰੇ ਮਤਵਾਰੇ ॥੭੯॥
khel basant badde khilavaar mano mad chaakh gire matavaare |79|(They fell down like this) as if they had fallen down after playing fag and drinking alcohol.79.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਹੈ ਗੈ ਰਥੀ ਬਾਜੀ ਘਨੇ ਜੋਧਾ ਹਨੇ ਅਨੇਕ ॥
hai gai rathee baajee ghane jodhaa hane anek |Killed the horses, elephants, charioteers (and those attached to them) and many warriors.
ਜੀਤਿ ਸੁਯੰਬਰ ਰਨ ਰਹੀ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਬਚਾ ਨ ਏਕ ॥੮੦॥
jeet suyanbar ran rahee bhoopat bachaa na ek |80|(That king Kumari) won Suambar and stayed on the battlefield and no king (left) remained.80.
ਬਾਜਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਜੀ ਪਰੀ ਬਾਜਨ ਬਜੇ ਅਨੇਕ ॥
baajan kee baajee paree baajan baje anek |There was horse racing and various bells and whistles.
ਬਿਸਿਖ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਰਸੇ ਤਹਾ ਬਚਾ ਨ ਬਾਜੀ ਏਕ ॥੮੧॥
bisikh bahut barase tahaa bachaa na baajee ek |81|Many arrows went there and not a single horse was left. 81.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਦੈਤ ਦਏ ਜਮ ਧਾਮ ਪਠਾਈ ॥
dait de jam dhaam patthaaee |(When) Yama sent the demons to the people,
ਬਾਰੀ ਸੁਭਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੀ ਆਈ ॥
baaree subhatt singh kee aaee |(Then) Subhat Singh's turn came.
ਤਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕਹਾ ਆਇ ਤੁਮ ਲਰੋ ॥
tih triy kahaa aae tum laro |Raj Kumari said to him either fight with me
ਕੈ ਅਬ ਹਾਰਿ ਮਾਨ ਮੁਹਿ ਬਰੋ ॥੮੨॥
kai ab haar maan muhi baro |82|Or give up and marry me.82.
ਸੁਭਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਬ ਯੌ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
subhatt singh jab yau sun paayo |When Subhat Singh heard this
ਅਧਿਕ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥
adhik chit mai kop badtaayo |So much anger grew in the mind.
ਮੈ ਕਾ ਜੁਧ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਤੇ ਡਰਿਹੋ ॥
mai kaa judh triyaa te ddariho |Am I afraid to fight with a woman?
ਯਾ ਕੋ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਮਾਨਿ ਯਹ ਬਰਿਹੋ ॥੮੩॥
yaa ko traas maan yah bariho |83|And accepting its fear, take it. 83.
ਕਹੂੰ ਮਤਿ ਗੈਵਰ ਗਰਜਾਹੀ ॥
kahoon mat gaivar garajaahee |Some (warriors) roared the drunken elephants
ਕਹੂੰ ਪਾਖਰੇ ਹੈ ਹਿਾਂਹਨਾਹੀ ॥
kahoon paakhare hai hiaanhanaahee |And some put saddles (on the horses) and spurred (them).
ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਵਚ ਸੂਰਾ ਕਹੂੰ ਕਸੈ ॥
sasatr kavach sooraa kahoon kasai |Somewhere the warriors were wearing armor and armor
ਜੁਗਿਨ ਰੁਧਿਰ ਖਪਰ ਭਰ ਹਸੈ ॥੮੪॥
jugin rudhir khapar bhar hasai |84|And (somewhere) the Jogans were laughing with their heads filled with blood.84.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਭਟੇਸ ਬਡੋ ਦਲੁ ਲੈ ਉਮਡਿਯੋ ਗਹਿ ਕੈ ਕਰਿ ਆਯੁਧ ਬਾਕੇ ॥
sree subhattes baddo dal lai umaddiyo geh kai kar aayudh baake |Subhat Singh arrived with a beautiful armor in his hand and a large entourage.
ਬੀਰ ਹਠੀ ਕਵਚੀ ਖੜਗੀ ਪਰਸੀਸ ਭਈ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਸਾਕੇ ॥
beer hatthee kavachee kharragee parasees bhee saradaar nisaake |In his army there were swordsmen, armor bearers, spearmen and axe-men (all) who were aiming.
ਏਕ ਟਰੇ ਇਕ ਆਨ ਅਰੇ ਇਕ ਜੂਝਿ ਗਿਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਣ ਖਾਇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕੇ ॥
ek ttare ik aan are ik joojh gire brin khaae triyaa ke |Some would go away, some would come and get stuck and some would fall after being wounded by Raj Kumari.
ਛਾਰ ਚੜਾਇ ਕੈ ਅੰਗ ਮਲੰਗ ਰਹੇ ਮਨੌ ਸੋਇ ਪਿਯੇ ਬਿਜਯਾ ਕੇ ॥੮੫॥
chhaar charraae kai ang malang rahe manau soe piye bijayaa ke |85|It is as if the people of Malang are sleeping after drinking bhang after rubbing vibhuti on their body.85.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਐਸੋ ਬੀਰ ਖੇਤ ਤਹ ਪਰਿਯੋ ॥
aaiso beer khet tah pariyo |There was such a fierce war
ਏਕ ਸੁਭਟ ਜੀਵਤ ਨ ਉਬਰਿਯੋ ॥
ek subhatt jeevat na ubariyo |And not a single warrior survived.
ਦਸ ਹਜਾਰ ਮਾਤੇ ਗਜ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
das hajaar maate gaj maare |Ten thousand elephants were killed
ਬੀਸ ਹਜਾਰ ਬਰ ਬਾਜ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥੮੬॥
bees hajaar bar baaj bidaare |86|And twenty thousand beautiful horses were killed. 86.
ਤੀਸ ਐਤ ਪੈਦਲ ਕਹ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
tees aait paidal kah maariyo |Killed three lakh (thirty ten thousand) infantry
ਤੇਇਸ ਲਛ ਰਥ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
teeis lachh rath han ddaariyo |And destroyed three lakh chariots.
ਦ੍ਵਾਦਸ ਲਛ ਰਥੀ ਅਤਿ ਮਾਰਿਸ ॥
dvaadas lachh rathee at maaris |Twelve lakh Ati (Vikat) charioteers
ਮਹਾਰਥੀ ਅਨਗਨਤ ਸੰਘਾਰਸਿ ॥੮੭॥
mahaarathee anaganat sanghaaras |87|And killed innumerable great charioteers. 87.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਸੁਭਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਨਹਾ ਬਚਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਰਹਾ ਨ ਏਕ ॥
subhatt singh tanahaa bachaa saathee rahaa na ek |Alone ('Tanha') Subhat Singh remained, (his) not a single companion.
