nisarat ur dhar |456|Are leaving keeping their desire within their hearts.456.
ਉਝਰਤ ਜੁਝ ਕਰ ॥
aujharat jujh kar |(Warriors) become entangled in war.
ਬਿਝੁਰਤ ਜੁਝ ਨਰ ॥
bijhurat jujh nar |The warriors are entangled among themselves and all are fighting with one another,
ਹਰਖਤ ਮਸਹਰ ॥
harakhat masahar |Carnivores (animals) are happy.
ਬਰਖਤ ਸਿਤ ਸਰ ॥੪੫੭॥
barakhat sit sar |457|Some people are getting delighted and showering their arrows.457.
ਝੁਰ ਝਰ ਕਰ ਕਰ ॥
jhur jhar kar kar |Some (warriors) are sweating
ਡਰਿ ਡਰਿ ਧਰ ਹਰ ॥
ddar ddar dhar har |People who are afraid in their minds, are meditating on Shiva and
ਹਰ ਬਰ ਧਰ ਕਰ ॥
har bar dhar kar |Many warriors with swords in hand
ਬਿਹਰਤ ਉਠ ਨਰ ॥੪੫੮॥
biharat utth nar |458|Remembering Shiva for their for their protection, they are trembling.458.
ਉਚਰਤ ਜਸ ਨਰ ॥
aucharat jas nar |Bandijans chant Yash.
ਬਿਚਰਤ ਧਸਿ ਨਰ ॥
bicharat dhas nar |As soon as the sound rises, people go into their houses and
ਥਰਕਤ ਨਰ ਹਰ ॥
tharakat nar har |(Due to anger) the men are trembling like Singh.
ਬਰਖਤ ਭੁਅ ਪਰ ॥੪੫੯॥
barakhat bhua par |459|The warriors here are falling on the earth, moving like man-lion incarnation.459.

ਚਟਾਕ ਚੋਟੈ ॥
chattaak chottai |(The hero) injures (the sword) by slashing.
ਅਟਾਕ ਓਟੈ ॥
attaak ottai |The blows of the swords are causing knocking sounds on the shields and the warriors are saving themselves from the shields
ਝੜਾਕ ਝਾੜੈ ॥
jharraak jhaarrai |(Then) they jerk and draw their swords.
ਤੜਾਕ ਤਾੜੈ ॥੪੬੦॥
tarraak taarrai |460|The weapons are being struck and (the warriors) are being killed by making them targets.460.
ਫਿਰੰਤ ਹੂਰੰ ॥
firant hooran |(In the sky) there are whirlwinds
ਬਰੰਤ ਸੂਰੰ ॥
barant sooran |And the soldiers have uniforms.
ਰਣੰਤ ਜੋਹੰ ॥
ranant johan |Whoever sees the snoring of snails
ਉਠੰਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਹੰ ॥੪੬੧॥
autthant krohan |461|The heavenly damsels are moving in the battlefield and wedding the warriors, they are seeing the war and the warriors, who are desirous of obtaining them, are getting immensely infuriated.461.
ਭਰੰਤ ਪਤ੍ਰੰ ॥
bharant patran |Yoga fills the heart,
ਤੁਟੰਤ ਅਤ੍ਰੰ ॥
tuttant atran |Armor breaks down.
ਝੜੰਤ ਅਗਨੰ ॥
jharrant aganan |(With the clanging of swords) sparks fly.
ਜਲੰਤ ਜਗਨੰ ॥੪੬੨॥
jalant jaganan |462|The bowls are being filled with blood, the arms are breaking, the sparks of fire are looking like glow-worms.462.
ਤੁਟੰਤ ਖੋਲੰ ॥
tuttant kholan |The helmets (of warriors) are broken
ਜੁਟੰਤ ਟੋਲੰ ॥
juttant ttolan |And (their) bands are gathered (together).
ਖਿਮੰਤ ਖਗੰ ॥
khimant khagan |swords flash,
ਉਠੰਤ ਅਗੰ ॥੪੬੩॥
autthant agan |463|The warriors are fighting, the armours are breaking, the spears are falling on the shields and the sparks are rising.463.
ਚਲੰਤ ਬਾਣੰ ॥
chalant baanan |Arrows fly,
ਰੁਕੰ ਦਿਸਾਣੰ ॥
rukan disaanan |The directions have stopped.
ਪਪਾਤ ਸਸਤ੍ਰੰ ॥
papaat sasatran |Armor strikes,
ਅਘਾਤ ਅਸਤ੍ਰੰ ॥੪੬੪॥
aghaat asatran |464|With the discharge of arrows, the directions have turned, there are blows and the sparks are rising.464.
ਖਹੰਤ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
khahant khatree |Armored warriors eat,
ਭਿਰੰਤ ਅਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
bhirant atree |Weapons clash.
ਬੁਠੰਤ ਬਾਣੰ ॥
butthant baanan |There is a shower of arrows.
ਖਿਵੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੰ ॥੪੬੫॥
khivai kripaanan |465|The Kshatriyas, getting hold of arms in their hands, are fighting, they are discharging arrows and striking with swords.465.

ਲੁਥ ਜੁਥ ਬਿਥੁਰ ਰਹੀ ਰਾਵਣ ਰਾਮ ਬਿਰੁਧ ॥
luth juth bithur rahee raavan raam birudh |Ravana's (army of) the enemies of Rama are scattered in droves.
ਹਤਯੋ ਮਹੋਦਰ ਦੇਖ ਕਰ ਹਰਿ ਅਰਿ ਫਿਰਯੋ ਸੁ ਕ੍ਰੁਧ ॥੪੬੬॥
hatayo mahodar dekh kar har ar firayo su krudh |466|In this war between Ram and Ravana the clusters of corpses scattered here and there and seeing Mahodar being killed Inderjit (Meghand) marched forward.466.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕੇ ਰਾਮਵਤਾਰ ਮਹੋਦਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਬਧਹਿ ਧਿਆਇ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ॥

ਜੁਟੇ ਵੀਰ ਜੁਝਾਰੇ ਧਗਾ ਵਜੀਆਂ ॥
jutte veer jujhaare dhagaa vajeean |The shouts rang out and the warriors rallied (together).
ਬਜੇ ਨਾਦ ਕਰਾਰੇ ਦਲਾ ਮੁਸਾਹਦਾ ॥
baje naad karaare dalaa musaahadaa |The trumpets sounded and the warriors faced one another and both the armies, prepared for war while thundering
ਲੁਝੇ ਕਾਰਣਯਾਰੇ ਸੰਘਰ ਸੂਰਮੇ ॥
lujhe kaaranayaare sanghar soorame |Heroes who have died in war are fighting.
ਵੁਠੇ ਜਾਣੁ ਡਰਾਰੇ ਘਣੀਅਰ ਕੈਬਰੀ ॥੪੬੭॥
vutthe jaan ddaraare ghaneear kaibaree |467|They who performed very difficult tasks, fought with one another and the arrows were discharged like the frightful flying serpents.467.
