ਫਟੀ ਨਖ ਸਿੰਘੰ ਮੁਖੰ ਡਢ ਕੋਲੰ ॥
fattee nakh singhan mukhan ddadt kolan |

The earth splitted because of the roar of the lion and the attack of his nails.

ਡਮਾ ਡੰਮਿ ਡਉਰੂ ਡਕਾ ਡੁੰਕ ਡੰਕੰ ॥
ddamaa ddam ddauroo ddakaa ddunk ddankan |

The sound of the trumpets and the tabors is being heard.

ਰੜੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਧ ਬ੍ਰਿਧੰ ਕਿਲਕਾਰ ਕੰਕੰ ॥੩॥੧੨੫॥
rarre gridh bridhan kilakaar kankan |3|125|

And the huge vultures and crows are shrieking and flying .3.125.

ਖੁਰੰ ਖੇਹ ਉਠੀ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਗੈਨ ਪੂਰੰ ॥
khuran kheh utthee rahiyo gain pooran |

The sky is filled with the dust risen by the hooves of the animals.

ਦਲੇ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਬਿਧੰ ਭਏ ਪਬ ਚੂਰੰ ॥
dale sindh bidhan bhe pab chooran |

And these animals have broken into prices Vidhyachal mountain and other small mounts.

ਸੁਣੋ ਸੋਰ ਕਾਲੀ ਗਹੈ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਾਣੰ ॥
suno sor kaalee gahai sasatr paanan |

The goddess Kali hearing the din, held her weapons in her hands.

ਕਿਲਕਾਰ ਜੇਮੀ ਹਨੇ ਜੰਗ ਜੁਆਣੰ ॥੪॥੧੨੬॥
kilakaar jemee hane jang juaanan |4|126|

While roaring she ate up the limps of the killed youthful warriors.4.126.

RASAAVAL STANZA

ਗਜੇ ਬੀਰ ਗਾਜੀ ॥
gaje beer gaajee |

ਤੁਰੇ ਤੁੰਦ ਤਾਜੀ ॥
ture tund taajee |

The brave warriors are thundering and the horses are speedily moving.

ਮਹਿਖੁਆਸ ਕਰਖੇ ॥
mahikhuaas karakhe |

ਸਰੰ ਧਾਰ ਬਰਖੇ ॥੫॥੧੨੭॥
saran dhaar barakhe |5|127|

The bows are being pulled and the shafts are raining.5.127.

ਇਤੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਜਿਯੋ ॥
eite singh gajiyo |

ਮਹਾ ਸੰਖ ਬਜਿਯੋ ॥
mahaa sankh bajiyo |

From this side the lion hath roared and the conch hath been blown.

ਰਹਿਯੋ ਨਾਦ ਪੂਰੰ ॥
rahiyo naad pooran |

ਛੁਹੀ ਗੈਣਿ ਧੂਰੰ ॥੬॥੧੨੮॥
chhuhee gain dhooran |6|128|

Its sound is filling the atmosphere. The sky is filled with the dust risen from the battlefield.6.128.

ਸਬੈ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਜੇ ॥
sabai sasatr saaje |

ਘਣੰ ਜੇਮ ਗਾਜੇ ॥
ghanan jem gaaje |

The warriors have bedecked themselves with weapons and are thundering like clouds.

ਚਲੇ ਤੇਜ ਤੈ ਕੈ ॥
chale tej tai kai |

ਅਨੰਤ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥੭॥੧੨੯॥
anant sasatr lai kai |7|129|

They are furiously moving, carrying countless weapons.7.129.

ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਢੂਕੇ ॥
chahoon or dtooke |

ਮੁਖੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੂਕੇ ॥
mukhan maar kooke |

From all four sides the warriors are closing their ranks, shouting “kill, kill”.

ਅਨੰਤ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਜੇ ॥
anant sasatr baje |

ਮਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਗਜੇ ॥੮॥੧੩੦॥
mahaa beer gaje |8|130|

The mighty warriors are thundering and countless weapons are striking blows.8.130.

ਮੁਖੰ ਨੈਣ ਰਕਤੰ ॥
mukhan nain rakatan |

ਧਰੇ ਪਾਣਿ ਸਕਤੰ ॥
dhare paan sakatan |

Carrying the powerful weapons in their hands, their faces and eyes are becoming blood-red.

ਕੀਏ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਉਠੇ ॥
kee krodh utthe |

ਸਰੰ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਬੁਠੇ ॥੯॥੧੩੧॥
saran brisatt butthe |9|131|

In great fury, they are marching and showering their arrows.9.131.

ਕਿਤੇ ਦੁਸਟ ਕੂਟੇ ॥
kite dusatt kootte |

ਅਨੰਤਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਛੂਟੇ ॥
anantaasatr chhootte |

Many of the tyrants have been killed and consequently countless weapons are lying scattered hither and thither.

ਕਰੀ ਬਾਣ ਬਰਖੰ ॥
karee baan barakhan |

ਭਰੀ ਦੇਬਿ ਹਰਖੰ ॥੧੦॥੧੩੨॥
bharee deb harakhan |10|132|

The goddess hath been pleased and is showering her arrows.10.132.

BELI BINDRAM STANZA

ਕਹ ਕਹ ਸੁ ਕੂਕਤ ਕੰਕੀਯੰ ॥
kah kah su kookat kankeeyan |

ਬਹਿ ਬਹਤ ਬੀਰ ਸੁ ਬੰਕੀਯੰ ॥
beh bahat beer su bankeeyan |

The crows are uttering “caw, caw” and the blood of mighty heroes is flowing.

ਲਹ ਲਹਤ ਬਾਣਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣਯੰ ॥
lah lahat baan kripaanayan |

ਗਹ ਗਹਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਮਸਾਣਯੰ ॥੧੧॥੧੩੩॥
gah gahat pret masaanayan |11|133|

The arrows and swords are waving in the wind and the ghosts and evil spirits are catching the dead.11.133.

ਡਹ ਡਹਤ ਡਵਰ ਡਮੰਕਯੰ ॥
ddah ddahat ddavar ddamankayan |

ਲਹ ਲਹਤ ਤੇਗ ਤ੍ਰਮੰਕਯੰ ॥
lah lahat teg tramankayan |

The tobors are resounding and the swords are glistening.

ਧ੍ਰਮ ਧ੍ਰਮਤ ਸਾਗ ਧਮੰਕਯੰ ॥
dhram dhramat saag dhamankayan |

ਬਬਕੰਤ ਬੀਰ ਸੁ ਬੰਕਯੰ ॥੧੨॥੧੩੪॥
babakant beer su bankayan |12|134|

The sounds of striking daggers and the thundering of the warriors are being heard.12.134.

ਛੁਟਕੰਤ ਬਾਣ ਕਮਾਣਯੰ ॥
chhuttakant baan kamaanayan |

ਹਰਰੰਤ ਖੇਤ ਖਤ੍ਰਾਣਯੰ ॥
hararant khet khatraanayan |

The arrows shot from the bows create surprises in the minds of the warriors.

ਡਹਕੰਤ ਡਾਮਰ ਡੰਕਣੀ ॥
ddahakant ddaamar ddankanee |

ਕਹ ਕਹਕ ਕੂਕਤ ਜੁਗਣੀ ॥੧੩॥੧੩੫॥
kah kahak kookat juganee |13|135|

The vampires are fearing from the sound of the labor and the female demons are wandering and laughing.13.135.

ਉਫਟੰਤ ਸ੍ਰੋਣਤ ਛਿਛਯੰ ॥
aufattant sronat chhichhayan |

ਬਰਖੰਤ ਸਾਇਕ ਤਿਛਯੰ ॥
barakhant saaeik tichhayan |

Because of the rain of sharp arrows, the blood is splashing.
