ਨਮੋ ਬਾਣ ਪਾਣੰ ॥
namo baan paanan |Salutation to Him, who wields the bow in his hands
ਨਮੋ ਨਿਰਭਯਾਣੰ ॥
namo nirabhayaanan |Salutation to Him, who is Fearless.
ਨਮੋ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵੰ ॥
namo dev devan |Salutation to Him, who is God of gods. Salutation to Him,
ਭਵਾਣੰ ਭਵੇਅੰ ॥੮੬॥
bhavaanan bhavean |86|Who shall ever be within the world.86.
ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ ॥
bhujang prayaat chhand |BHUJANG PRAYYAT STANZA
ਨਮੋ ਖਗ ਖੰਡੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ਕਟਾਰੰ ॥
namo khag khanddan kripaan kattaaran |Salutation to him, who wields spear, double-edged sword, sword and dagger,
ਸਦਾ ਏਕ ਰੂਪੰ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਬਿਕਾਰੰ ॥
sadaa ek roopan sadaa nirabikaaran |Who is ever monomorphic and ever without vices.
ਨਮੋ ਬਾਣ ਪਾਣੰ ਨਮੋ ਦੰਡ ਧਾਰਿਯੰ ॥
namo baan paanan namo dandd dhaariyan |Salutation to Him, who is the wielder of bow in His hands and who also carries the staff,
ਜਿਨੈ ਚੌਦਹੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਜੋਤੰ ਬਿਥਾਰਿਯੰ ॥੮੭॥
jinai chauadahoon lok jotan bithaariyan |87|Who hath spread His Light in all the fourteen worlds.87.
ਨਮਸਕਾਰਯੰ ਮੋਰ ਤੀਰੰ ਤੁਫੰਗੰ ॥
namasakaarayan mor teeran tufangan |I salute the arrow and the gun, I salute the lustrous sword,
ਨਮੋ ਖਗ ਅਦਗੰ ਅਭੈਅੰ ਅਭੰਗੰ ॥
namo khag adagan abhaian abhangan |Which Is impenetratable and indestructible.
ਗਦਾਯੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਸਟੰ ਨਮੋ ਸੈਹਥੀਅੰ ॥
gadaayan grisattan namo saihatheean |I salute the great mace and lance,
ਜਿਨੈ ਤੁਲੀਯੰ ਬੀਰ ਬੀਯੋ ਨ ਬੀਅੰ ॥੮੮॥
jinai tuleeyan beer beeyo na beean |88|Which have no equal or second in bravery.88.
ਰਸਾਵਲ ਛੰਦ ॥

ਨਮੋ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਪਾਣੰ ॥
namo chakr paanan |Salutation to Him, Who holds the disc in His hand,
ਅਭੂਤੰ ਭਯਾਣੰ ॥
abhootan bhayaanan |He hath manifested Himself without elements.
ਨਮੋ ਉਗ੍ਰਦਾੜੰ ॥
namo ugradaarran |Salutation to Him, who hath sharp grinder teeth,
ਮਹਾ ਗ੍ਰਿਸਟ ਗਾੜੰ ॥੮੯॥
mahaa grisatt gaarran |89|Which are thick and strong.89.
ਨਮੋ ਤੀਰ ਤੋਪੰ ॥
namo teer topan |Salutation to Him, who hath the arrows and the cannon,
ਜਿਨੈ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਘੋਪੰ ॥
jinai satr ghopan |Who hath destroyed the enemies.
ਨਮੋ ਧੋਪ ਪਟੰ ॥
namo dhop pattan |Salutation to Him, Who holds the straight sword and the bayonet,
ਜਿਨੇ ਦੁਸਟ ਦਟੰ ॥੯੦॥
jine dusatt dattan |90|Who hath reporimanded the tyrants.90.
ਜਿਤੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਮੰ ॥
jite sasatr naaman |I salute all the weapons of various names.
ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਤਾਮੰ ॥
namasakaar taaman |I salute all the weapons of various names.
ਜਿਤੇ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਭੈਯੰ ॥
jite asatr bhaiyan |I salute all kinds of armour
ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਤੇਯੰ ॥੯੧॥
namasakaar teyan |91|I salute all kinds of armour.91.

svaiyaa |SWAYYA.
ਮੇਰੁ ਕਰੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ਤੇ ਮੁਹਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਗਰੀਬ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਨ ਦੂਸਰ ਤੋ ਸੋ ॥
mer karo trin te muhi jaeh gareeb nivaaj na doosar to so |There is no other support for the poor except Thee, who hath made me a mountain from a straw.
ਭੂਲ ਛਿਮੋ ਹਮਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪ ਨ ਭੂਲਨਹਾਰ ਕਹੂੰ ਕੋਊ ਮੋ ਸੋ ॥
bhool chhimo hamaree prabh aap na bhoolanahaar kahoon koaoo mo so |O Lord! Forgive me for my mistakes, because who is there so much blunderhead like me?
ਸੇਵ ਕਰੀ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਦੇਖੀਅਤ ਦ੍ਰਬ ਭਰੋ ਸੋ ॥
sev karee tumaree tin ke sabh hee grih dekheeat drab bharo so |Those who have served Thee, there seems wealth and self-confidence in all there homes.
ਯਾ ਕਲ ਮੈ ਸਭ ਕਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਕੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਭੁਜਾਨ ਕੋ ਭਾਰੀ ਭਰੋਸੋ ॥੯੨॥
yaa kal mai sabh kaal kripaan ke bhaaree bhujaan ko bhaaree bharoso |92|In this Iron age, the supreme trust is only for KAL, Who is the Sword-incarnate and hath mighty arms.92.
ਸੁੰਭ ਨਿਸੁੰਭ ਸੇ ਕੋਟ ਨਿਸਾਚਰ ਜਾਹਿ ਛਿਨੇਕ ਬਿਖੈ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
sunbh nisunbh se kott nisaachar jaeh chhinek bikhai han ddaare |He, who hath destroyed millions of demons like Sumbh and Nisumbh in and instant.
ਧੂਮਰ ਲੋਚਨ ਚੰਡ ਅਉ ਮੁੰਡ ਸੇ ਮਾਹਿਖ ਸੇ ਪਲ ਬੀਚ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ॥
dhoomar lochan chandd aau mundd se maahikh se pal beech nivaare |Who hath annihilated in and instant the demons like Dhumarlochan, Chand, Mund and Mahishasura.
ਚਾਮਰ ਸੇ ਰਣਿ ਚਿਛਰ ਸੇ ਰਕਤਿਛਣ ਸੇ ਝਟ ਦੈ ਝਝਕਾਰੇ ॥
chaamar se ran chichhar se rakatichhan se jhatt dai jhajhakaare |Who hath immediately thrashed and thrown down far away the demons like Chamar, Ranchichchhar and Rakat Beej.
ਐਸੋ ਸੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਪਾਇ ਕਹਾ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਰਹੀ ਇਹ ਦਾਸ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੯੩॥
aaiso su saahib paae kahaa paravaah rahee ih daas tihaare |93|On realizing the Lord like Thee, this servant of yours doth not care for anyone else.93.
ਮੁੰਡਹੁ ਸੇ ਮਧੁ ਕੀਟਭ ਸੇ ਮੁਰ ਸੇ ਅਘ ਸੇ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਦਲੇ ਹੈ ॥
munddahu se madh keettabh se mur se agh se jin kott dale hai |He, Who hath mashed millions of demons like Mundakasura, Madhu, Kaitabh, Murs and Aghasura.
ਓਟਿ ਕਰੀ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਨ ਜਿਨੈ ਰਣਿ ਚੋਟ ਪਰੀ ਪਗ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਨ ਟਲੇ ਹੈ ॥
ott karee kabahoon na jinai ran chott paree pag dvai na ttale hai |And such heroes who never asked anyone for support in the battlefield and had never turned back even two feet.
ਸਿੰਧੁ ਬਿਖੈ ਜੇ ਨ ਬੂਡੇ ਨਿਸਾਚਰ ਪਾਵਕ ਬਾਣ ਬਹੇ ਨ ਜਲੇ ਹੈ ॥
sindh bikhai je na boodde nisaachar paavak baan bahe na jale hai |And such demons, who could not be drowned even in the sea and there was no impact on them of the fireshafts.
ਤੇ ਅਸਿ ਤੋਰਿ ਬਿਲੋਕਿ ਅਲੋਕ ਸੁ ਲਾਜ ਕੋ ਛਾਡ ਕੈ ਭਾਜਿ ਚਲੇ ਹੈ ॥੯੪॥
te as tor bilok alok su laaj ko chhaadd kai bhaaj chale hai |94|On seeing Thy Sword and forsaking their shyness, they are fleeing away.94.
ਰਾਵਣ ਸੇ ਮਹਿਰਾਵਣ ਸੇ ਘਟਕਾਨਹੁ ਸੇ ਪਲ ਬੀਚ ਪਛਾਰੇ ॥
raavan se mahiraavan se ghattakaanahu se pal beech pachhaare |Thou hast destroyed in and instant the warriors like Ravana, Kumbhkarna and Ghatksura.
ਬਾਰਦ ਨਾਦ ਅਕੰਪਨ ਸੇ ਜਗ ਜੰਗ ਜੁਰੈ ਜਿਨ ਸਿਉ ਜਮ ਹਾਰੇ ॥
baarad naad akanpan se jag jang jurai jin siau jam haare |And like Meghnad, who could defeat even Yama in the war..
ਕੁੰਭ ਅਕੁੰਭ ਸੇ ਜੀਤ ਸਭੈ ਜਗਿ ਸਾਤਹੂੰ ਸਿੰਧ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਪਖਾਰੇ ॥
kunbh akunbh se jeet sabhai jag saatahoon sindh hathiaar pakhaare |And the demons like Kumbh and Akumbh, who conquering all, washed away the blood from their weapons in seven seas, etc.
ਜੇ ਜੇ ਹੁਤੇ ਅਕਟੇ ਬਿਕਟੇ ਸੁ ਕਟੇ ਕਰਿ ਕਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਕੇ ਮਾਰੇ ॥੯੫॥
je je hute akatte bikatte su katte kar kaal kripaan ke maare |95|All of them died with the terrible sword of the mighty KAL.95.
ਜੋ ਕਹੂੰ ਕਾਲ ਤੇ ਭਾਜ ਕੇ ਬਾਚੀਅਤ ਤੋ ਕਿਹ ਕੁੰਟ ਕਹੋ ਭਜਿ ਜਈਯੈ ॥
jo kahoon kaal te bhaaj ke baacheeat to kih kuntt kaho bhaj jeeyai |If one tries to flee and escape from KAL, then tell in which direction shall he flee?
ਆਗੇ ਹੂੰ ਕਾਲ ਧਰੇ ਅਸਿ ਗਾਜਤ ਛਾਜਤ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਤੇ ਨਸਿ ਅਈਯੈ ॥
aage hoon kaal dhare as gaajat chhaajat hai jih te nas aeeyai |Wherever one may go, even there he will perceive the well-seated thundering sword of KAL.
ਐਸੇ ਨ ਕੈ ਗਯੋ ਕੋਈ ਸੁ ਦਾਵ ਰੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਉਪਾਵ ਸੋ ਘਾਵ ਬਚਈਐ ॥
aaise na kai gayo koee su daav re jaeh upaav so ghaav bacheeai |None hath been able to tell uptil now the measure, which, may be adopted to save himself from the blow of KAL.
ਜਾ ਤੇ ਨ ਛੁਟੀਐ ਮੁੜ ਕਹੂੰ ਹਸਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਨ ਕਿਉ ਸਰਣਾਗਤਿ ਜਈਯੈ ॥੯੬॥
jaa te na chhutteeai murr kahoon has taa kee na kiau saranaagat jeeyai |96|O foolish mind! The one from whom Thou cannot escape in any manner, why doth thee not go under His Refuge.96.
ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਅਉ ਬਿਸਨੁ ਜਪੇ ਤੁਹਿ ਕੋਟਿਕ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਭਲੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਧਿਆਯੋ ॥
krisan aau bisan jape tuhi kottik raam raheem bhalee bidh dhiaayo |Thou hast meditated on millions of Krishnas, Vishnus, Ramas and Rahims.
