ਪਹੁਚਾਯੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਤਾਹਿ ਤਿਸੀ ਢੰਗ ॥੬॥

ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਪਿਤਾ ਗਯੋ ਸੁਤਾ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰੇਹ ॥

ਸੇਜ ਦੇਖਿ ਕਰਿ ਦਲਮਲੀ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਬਢਾ ਸੰਦੇਹ ॥੭॥
sej dekh kar dalamalee chit meh badtaa sandeh |7|Seeing Sage intoxicated, doubt arose in his mind. 7.

ਚਿੰਤਾਤੁਰ ਘਰ ਕੋ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
chintaatur ghar ko fir aayo |He returned home worried
ਸਹਿਰ ਢੰਢੋਰਾ ਐਸ ਦਿਲਾਯੋ ॥
sahir dtandtoraa aais dilaayo |And this kind of chaos in the city was beaten
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਪੁਹਪ ਖਰੀਦਨ ਆਵੈ ॥
je koee puhap khareedan aavai |That if someone comes to buy flowers
ਮੁਹਿ ਨਿਰਖੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਲੇਨ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੮॥
muhi nirakhe bin len na paavai |8|So he could not take it without seeing me. 8.
ਪੁਹਪਨ ਸਮੈ ਬਿਕਨ ਜਬ ਭਯੋ ॥
puhapan samai bikan jab bhayo |When it was time to sell the flowers,
ਤਬ ਤਹ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਬਿਲੋਕਨ ਅਯੋ ॥
tab tah nripat bilokan ayo |So the king came there to see.
ਜੋਗੀ ਏਕ ਤਹਾ ਤਬ ਆਯੋ ॥
jogee ek tahaa tab aayo |Then a Jogi came there
ਪੁਹਪ ਪਾਚ ਮਨ ਮੋਲ ਚੁਕਾਯੋ ॥੯॥
puhap paach man mol chukaayo |9|(And he) plucked five heads of flowers. 9.
ਆਇ ਸੁ ਫੂਲ ਮੋਲ ਲੈ ਗਯੋ ॥
aae su fool mol lai gayo |(That jogi) came and took the flower.
ਪਾਛੋ ਗਹਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਤਿਹ ਭਯੋ ॥
paachho gahat nripat tih bhayo |The king started following him.
ਜਾਤ ਜਾਤ ਦੋਊ ਗਏ ਗਹਿਰ ਬਨ ॥
jaat jaat doaoo ge gahir ban |Moving on, both reached a thick bun,
ਜਹ ਲਖਿ ਜਾਤ ਤੀਸਰੋ ਮਨੁਖ ਨ ॥੧੦॥
jah lakh jaat teesaro manukh na |10|Where no third person was visible. 10.
ਤਬ ਜੋਗੀ ਸਰ ਜਟਾ ਉਘਾਰੀ ॥
tab jogee sar jattaa ughaaree |Then the Jogi untied the locks of his head.
ਤਿਨ ਭੀਤਰ ਤੇ ਨਾਰਿ ਨਿਕਾਰੀ ॥
tin bheetar te naar nikaaree |One of them is a female Kadhi.
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਰਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ॥
bhaat bhaat taa sau rat kar kai |Played various games with him
ਸੋਯੋ ਤਾਪ ਮਦਨ ਕੌ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ॥੧੧॥
soyo taap madan kau har kai |11|After removing the heat of lust, he fell asleep. 11.
ਜਬ ਹੀ ਸੋਇ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀ ਗਯੋ ॥
jab hee soe sanayaasee gayo |As soon as the monk fell asleep
ਜੂਤ ਜਟਨ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਰਿ ਛੁਰਯੋ ॥
joot jattan tih naar chhurayo |So that woman opened the bundle of bundles.
ਤਹ ਤੇ ਪੁਰਖ ਏਕ ਤਿਹ ਕਾਢਾ ॥
tah te purakh ek tih kaadtaa |From him he took out a man
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਕਰਿ ਗਾਢਾ ॥੧੨॥
kaam bhog taa sau kar gaadtaa |12|And played with him a lot. 12.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਠਾਢੋ ਤਿਹ ਚਰਿਤ ਨਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
nrip tthaadto tih charit nihaaraa |The king stood and saw all this character
ਜੋਰਿ ਹਾਥ ਜੋਗਿਯਹਿ ਉਚਾਰਾ ॥
jor haath jogiyeh uchaaraa |And with folded hands said to Jogi,
ਮੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਐਯੋ ॥
mo grih kaal kripaa kar aaiyo |Please come to my house tomorrow.
ਜਥਾ ਸਕਤਿ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਿ ਜੈਯੋ ॥੧੩॥
jathaa sakat bhojan kar jaiyo |13|Eat as much food as possible. 13.
ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਗਯੋ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀ ਤਿਹ ਘਰ ॥
praat gayo sanayaasee tih ghar |(The next day) in the morning by dressing the body with saffron
ਭਗਵਾ ਭੇਸ ਸਕਲ ਤਨ ਮੈ ਧਰਿ ॥
bhagavaa bhes sakal tan mai dhar |The ascetic went to his (the king's) house.
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਬਨਾਈ ॥
bhaat bhaat tan prabhaa banaaee |He had built the mastery of his body with everything
ਮਹਾ ਧਰਮ ਸੋ ਜਨਿਯੋ ਜਾਈ ॥੧੪॥
mahaa dharam so janiyo jaaee |14|So that he can be known as a great righteous person. 14.
ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀ ਕਹ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਆਗੇ ਧਰਿ ॥
sanayaasee kah nrip aage dhar |By advancing the hermit
ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਯੋ ਘਰ ॥
duhitaa ke raajaa aayo ghar |Raja came to Surori's house.
ਤੀਨ ਥਾਲ ਭੋਜਨ ਕੇ ਭਰਿ ਕੈ ॥
teen thaal bhojan ke bhar kai |By filling three plates of food
ਆਗੇ ਰਾਖੇ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਰਿ ਕੈ ॥੧੫॥
aage raakhe bachan uchar kai |15|He put it in front of (that ascetic) and asked (to eat). 15.
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਬਚਨ ਕਹੇ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀ ॥
eih bidh bachan kahe sanayaasee |The ascetic (before) said thus,
ਕਹਾ ਕਰਤ ਹੈ ਮੁਹਿ ਤਨ ਹਾਸੀ ॥
kahaa karat hai muhi tan haasee |why are you laughing with me
ਏਕ ਮਨੁਛ ਹੌ ਇਤਨੌ ਭੋਜਨ ॥
ek manuchh hau itanau bhojan |(I am) a man and so much food
ਖਾਯੋ ਜਾਇ ਕਵਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਮੋ ਤਨ ॥੧੬॥
khaayo jaae kavan bidh mo tan |16|How will I be able to eat? 16.
ਏਕ ਥਾਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਤੁਮ ਕਰੋ ॥
ek thaar bhojan tum karo |(The king replied) Have a plate of food.
ਦੁਤਿਯ ਜਟਨ ਮੈ ਤਿਹ ਅਨਸਰੋ ॥
dutiy jattan mai tih anasaro |Use the second plate for the Jatawan (middle) man.
ਜਿਹ ਤਿਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਜਟਾ ਛੁਰਵਾਇ ॥
jih tih bhaat jattaa chhuravaae |Like how to untie the knots
ਤਹ ਤੇ ਨਾਰਿ ਨਿਕਾਸੀ ਰਾਇ ॥੧੭॥
tah te naar nikaasee raae |17|The king took the woman out of them. 17.
ਤ੍ਰਿਤਿਯ ਥਾਰ ਆਗੇ ਤਿਹ ਰਾਖਾ ॥
tritiy thaar aage tih raakhaa |The king placed the third plate in front of him
ਬਿਹਸਿ ਬਚਨ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਭਾਖਾ ॥
bihas bachan taa sau nrip bhaakhaa |And laughingly said to him
ਕੇਸ ਫਾਸ ਤੇ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਕਾਰਹੁ ॥
kes faas te purakh nikaarahu |Remove the man from the pile of cases
