ਹੋ ਛੰਦ ਝੂਲਨਾ ਮਾਝ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੯੭॥

ho chhand jhoolanaa maajh nisank bakhaaneeai |1297|

Saying firslty the words “Shachipatir ari”, add the word “Nrip” four times and then adding “ari”, know the names of Tupak and use them unhesitatingly in jhoolnaa stanza.1297.

ਸਕ੍ਰਰਦਨ ਅਰਿ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

sakraradan ar rip pad aad bakhaan kai |

First recite the verse 'skrrdana ari ripu'.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦ ਕਹੁ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

teen baar nrip pad kahu bahur pramaan kai |

Then add the word 'Nrip' three times.

ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥

satru sabad keh naam tupak ke jaaneeai |

(Then) say the word 'Satru' and understand it as the name of Tupaka.

ਹੋ ਝੂਲਾ ਛੰਦਨ ਮਾਝ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੯੮॥

ho jhoolaa chhandan maajh nisank bakhaaneeai |1298|

Saying the words “Sakar-radan ari ripu”, add the word “Nrip” three times and then adding the word “Shatru”, know the names of Tupak for using them in Jhoolaa stanza.1298.

ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦ ਪੁਰਹੂਤਰਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

aad sabad purahootar uchaaran keejeeai |

First chant the word 'Purhutri' (enemies of Indra).

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਪਿਤਣੀਸ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਭਣੀਜੀਐ ॥

ar keh pitanees ar pad bahur bhaneejeeai |

Then say 'Ari' followed by 'Pitnis Ari'.

ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਚਤੁਰ ਲਹਿ ਲੀਜੀਐ ॥

sakal tupak ke naam chatur leh leejeeai |

(Consider it) as the name of the most clever drop.

ਹੋ ਸੁਘਰ ਸੋਰਠਾ ਮਾਝਿ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੁਇ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥੧੨੯੯॥

ho sughar soratthaa maajh niddar hue deejeeai |1299|

Saying the word “Purhootari”, then utter the words “ari Pitneesh ari” and know the names of Tupak cleverly for using them unhesitatingly in Soratha.1299.

ਬਾਸਵਾਰਿ ਅਰਿ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

baasavaar ar aad uchaaran keejeeai |

First chant the verse 'Baswari (Indra's enemy demon) Ari'.

ਪਿਤਣੀ ਇਸਣੀ ਅਰਿਣੀ ਅੰਤਿ ਭਣੀਜੀਐ ॥

pitanee isanee arinee ant bhaneejeeai |

(Then) at the end recite the words 'Pitni isni arini'.

ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਚਤੁਰ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥

sakal tupak ke naam chatur jeea jaaneeai |

(To) all clever men! Consider as the name of the drop.

ਹੋ ਛੰਦ ਦੋਹਰਾ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੩੦੦॥

ho chhand doharaa maeh nisank bakhaaneeai |1300|

Saying the words “Vaasvaari ari” add the words” Pitni Ishani Ishaniu arini” and know the names of Tupak for using them in Dohra stanza.1300.

ਆਦਿ ਬ੍ਰਿਤਹਾ ਅਰਿ ਅਰਿ ਪਦਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

aad britahaa ar ar padeh pramaan kai |

First verify the term 'Britha (Indra) Ari Ari'.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਇਸ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਠਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

teen baar is sabad tavan ke tthaan kai |

Add the word 'this' three times to it.

ਰਿਪੁ ਪੁਨਿ ਠਾਨ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਪਛਾਨ ਲੈ ॥

rip pun tthaan tupak ke naam pachhaan lai |

Then by adding the term 'Ripu', understand (it) as the name of Tupak.

ਹੋ ਪੜਿਯੋ ਚਾਹਤ ਜੋ ਨਰ ਤਿਹ ਭੇਦ ਬਤਾਇ ਦੈ ॥੧੩੦੧॥

ho parriyo chaahat jo nar tih bhed bataae dai |1301|

Saying firstly the words “Vritdaa ari ari”, add the word “Ish” three times, then adding the word “Ripu” know the names of Tupak and convey to the one who wants to know them.1301.

ਮਘਵਾਤਕ ਅਰਿ ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਭਾਖੀਐ ॥

maghavaatak ar aad sabad ko bhaakheeai |

First recite the word 'Maghvantaka (Giant) Ari'.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦਹਿ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਰਾਖੀਐ ॥

teen baar nrip padeh tavan ke raakheeai |

Add the word 'Nrip' three times to it.

ਰਿਪੁ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਸੁਘਰ ਲਹੀਜੀਐ ॥

rip keh naam tupak ke sughar laheejeeai |

(Then) by saying the word 'Ripu' the name of Tupak, scholars! understand

ਹੋ ਕਥਾ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਮਾਝਿ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਭਣੀਜੀਐ ॥੧੩੦੨॥

ho kathaa keeratan maajh nisank bhaneejeeai |1302|

Saying firstly the word “Maghvaantak ari”, add the word “Nrip three times and then adding the word “Ripu”, and devotional singing.1302.

ਮਾਤਲੇਸ੍ਰ ਅਰਿ ਸਬਦਹਿ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

maatalesr ar sabadeh aad bakhaan kai |

First pronounce the word 'Matlesra (Indra) Ari'.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਠਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

teen baar nrip sabad tavan ke tthaan kai |

(Then) add the word 'Nrip' three times to it.

ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਫੁਨਿ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ॥

satru sabad fun taa ke ant uchaareeai |

Then pronounce the word 'satru' at the end of it.

ਹੋ ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਮਤ ਸੰਭਾਰੀਐ ॥੧੩੦੩॥

ho sakal tupak ke naam sumat sanbhaareeai |1303|

Saying firstly the words “Maatleshwar ari”, add the word “Nrip” three times, then uttering the word “shatruu” at the end, know the names of Tupak wisely.1303.

ਜਿਸਨਾਤਕ ਅੰਤਕ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ॥

jisanaatak antak sabadaad uchaareeai |

First pronounce the words 'Jisnantaka (Giant) Antak'.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਪਦ ਰਾਜ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਡਾਰੀਐ ॥

teen baar pad raaj tavan ke ddaareeai |

(Then) add the word 'Raj' to it three times.

ਅਰਿ ਪੁਨਿ ਤਵਨੈ ਅੰਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਕੇ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥

ar pun tavanai ant sabad ke deejeeai |

Then add the word 'ari' at the end of it.

ਹੋ ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਘਰ ਲਹਿ ਲੀਜੀਐ ॥੧੩੦੪॥

ho sakal tupak ke naam sughar leh leejeeai |1304|

Saying firstly the words “Jisnaatak antak”, add the word “Raaj” three times and then adding the word “ari” at the end, know all the names of Tupak.1304.

ਪੁਰੰਦ੍ਰਾਰਿ ਅਰਿ ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦ ਕਹੁ ਭਾਖਿ ਕੈ ॥

purandraar ar aad sabad kahu bhaakh kai |

First recite the word 'Purndrari (giant) Ari'.

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਿਹ ਰਾਖਿ ਕੈ ॥

teen baar nrip padeh ant tih raakh kai |

Add the word 'Nrip' three times at the end of it.

ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥

bahur satru pad ant tavan ke deejeeai |

Then put the word 'Satru' at the end of it.

ਹੋ ਸੁਘਰ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ ਲਖਿ ਲੀਜੀਐ ॥੧੩੦੫॥

ho sughar tupak ke naam sadaa lakh leejeeai |1305|

Saying firstly the words “Purandraari ari”, add the word “Nrip” three times at the end, then adding the word “Shatru”, know the names of Tupak scholarly.1305.

teen baar eesar pad tthaanahu |

(Then) add the word 'is' three times.

ਅਰਿ ਪੁਨਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਤਿਹ ਦੀਜੈ ॥

ar pun ant bahur tih deejai |

Then say 'ari' at the end.

ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਲਹਿ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੧੩੦੬॥

sabh sree naam tupak leh leejai |1306|

Saying the words “Vajardharar ari”, add the word “Ishwar” three times then add the word “ari” at the end and know all the names of Tupak.
