ਛੋਰ ਕੈ ਚੀਲ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਦਯੋ ਤ੍ਰੀਆ ਕੋ ਅਤਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਬਨਾਯੋ ॥
chhor kai cheel ko roop dayo treea ko at sundar roop banaayo |After leaving the form of an elephant, he took the form of a very beautiful woman.
ਵਾਹਿ ਉਤਾਰ ਕੈ ਕੰਧਹਿ ਤੇ ਤਿਹ ਕੰਧਿ ਪਟੰਬਰ ਪੀਤ ਧਰਾਯੋ ॥
vaeh utaar kai kandheh te tih kandh pattanbar peet dharaayo |She abandoned there the body of vulture and assumed her own beautiful figure of a woman after dismounting Pradyumna from her shoulder, she caused him to wear the yellow garments
ਸੋਰਹ ਹਜਾਰ ਤ੍ਰੀਆ ਸਭ ਥੀ ਜਹਿ ਠਾਢਿ ਤਿਨੈ ਇਹ ਰੂਪ ਦਿਖਾਯੋ ॥
sorah hajaar treea sabh thee jeh tthaadt tinai ih roop dikhaayo |Where there were all sixteen thousand wives (of Lord Krishna), he stood up and showed (his) form.
ਸੁ ਸੁਕਚੀ ਚਿਤ ਬੀਚ ਸਭੈ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਆਯੋ ॥੨੦੩੨॥
su sukachee chit beech sabhai ih bhaat lakhiyo brij naaeik aayo |2032|Sixteen thousand women saw Pradyumna there and they thought with caution that perhaps Krishna himself had come there.2032.
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

ਤਾਹਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਸੀ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਤ੍ਰੀਅ ਸਭੈ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਸੁਕਚਾਹੀ ॥
taeh nihaar kai sayaam see moorat treea sabhai man mai sukachaahee |Seeing his face like Sri Krishna, all the women hesitated in their minds.
ਲਿਆਯੋ ਹੈ ਆਨਿ ਬਧੂ ਕੋਊ ਬ੍ਯਾਹਿ ਕਹੈ ਸਖੀ ਕੀ ਸੁ ਸਖੀ ਗਹਿ ਬਾਹੀ ॥
liaayo hai aan badhoo koaoo bayaeh kahai sakhee kee su sakhee geh baahee |Seeing the likeness of Krishna in Pradyumna, the women said in their state of shyness that Krishna had then wedded and brought another damsel
ਏਕ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਕਹੈ ਤਿਹ ਕੈ ਉਰਿ ਓਰਿ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਭਲੇ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
ek nihaar kahai tih kai ur or bichaar bhale man maahee |One (Sakhi) looks at his chest and says, think well in your mind,
ਲਛਨ ਅਉਰ ਸਭੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਏਕ ਲਤਾ ਭ੍ਰਿਗੁ ਕੀ ਉਰਿ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੨੦੩੩॥
lachhan aaur sabhai har ke ih ek lataa bhrig kee ur naahee |2033|One woman, looking towards him, said in her mind, “All other signs on his body are similar to Krishna but there is no mark of the foot of the sage Bhrigu on his chest.”2033.
ਪੇਖਤ ਤਾਹਿ ਰੁਕਮਨਿ ਕੇ ਸੁ ਪਯੋਧਰ ਵਾ ਪਯ ਸੋ ਭਰਿ ਆਏ ॥
pekhat taeh rukaman ke su payodhar vaa pay so bhar aae |Seeing Pradyumna, the teats of Rukmani were filled with milk
ਮੋਹੁ ਬਢਿਯੋ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਕਰੁਨਾ ਰਸੁ ਸੋ ਢੁਰਿ ਬੈਨ ਸੁਨਾਏ ॥
mohu badtiyo at hee chit mai karunaa ras so dtur bain sunaae |In her attachment she said modestly,
ਐਸੇ ਸਖੀ ਕਹਿਓ ਮੋ ਸੁਤ ਥੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੈ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਹਮ ਤੇ ਜੁ ਛਿਨਾਏ ॥
aaise sakhee kahio mo sut tho prabh dai ham ko ham te ju chhinaae |“O friend! my son was just like him, O Lord! give back to me my own son
ਯੌ ਕਹਿ ਸਾਸ ਉਸਾਸ ਲਯੋ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਦੋਊ ਨੈਨ ਬਹਾਏ ॥੨੦੩੪॥
yau keh saas usaas layo kab sayaam kahai doaoo nain bahaae |2034|” Saying thus, she heaved a long breath and the tears rushed forth from both her eyes.2034.
ਇਤਿ ਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਆਇ ਗਯੋ ਇਹ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਓਰਿ ਰਹੇ ਟਕ ਲਾਈ ॥
eit te brij naaeik aae gayo ih moorat or rahe ttak laaee |Krishna came form this side and everyone began to stare at him
ਤਉ ਹੀ ਲਉ ਨਾਰਦ ਆਇ ਗਯੋ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਤਿਨਿ ਭਾਖਿ ਸੁਨਾਈ ॥
tau hee lau naarad aae gayo birathaa sabh hee tin bhaakh sunaaee |Then Narada came and he related the whole story.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਪੂਤ ਤਿਹਾਰੋ ਈ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਯੌ ਸੁਨਿ ਕੈ ਪੁਰ ਬਾਜੀ ਬਧਾਈ ॥
kaanrah joo poot tihaaro ee hai ih yau sun kai pur baajee badhaaee |He said, “O Krishna! He is your son,” hearing this, the songs of joy were sung in the whole city
ਭਾਗਨ ਕੀ ਨਿਧਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਮਨੋ ਇਹ ਦਿਵਸਹਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨੦੩੫॥
bhaagan kee nidh sayaam bhanai jadubeer mano ih divaseh paaee |2035|It appeared that Krishna had obtained an ocean of fortune.2035.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਸਕੰਧੇ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਾਵਤਾਰੇ ਪਰਦੁਮਨ ਸੰਬਰ ਦੈਤ ਬਧ ਕੈ ਰੁਕਮਿਨਿ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਕੋ ਆਈ ਮਿਲਤ ਭਏ ॥
eit sree dasam sakandhe bachitr naattak krisanaavataare paraduman sanbar dait badh kai rukamin kaanrah joo ko aaee milat bhe |End of the description of Pradumna meeting with Krishna after killing the demon Shambar in Krishnavatara based on Dasam Skandh in Bachittar Natak.
ਅਥ ਸਤ੍ਰਾਜਿਤ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇ ਮਨਿ ਲਿਆਏ ਜਾਮਵੰਤ ਬਧ ਕਥਨੰ ॥
ath satraajit sooraj te man liaae jaamavant badh kathanan |Now begins the description of bringing of the jewel by Satrajit from Surya an dthe killing of Jamwant
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਇਤ ਸੂਰਜ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੀ ਸਤ੍ਰਾਜਿਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ ॥
eit sooraj sevaa karee satraajit balavaan |Here the mighty warrior Strajit served the sun (much).
ਰਵਿ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਤਬ ਮਨਿ ਦਈ ਉਜਲ ਆਪ ਸਮਾਨ ॥੨੦੩੬॥
rav tih ko tab man dee ujal aap samaan |2036|The powerful Satrajit (a Yadava) served the god Surya, and he bestowed upon him the gift of jewel bright like himself.2036.
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

ਲੈ ਮਨਿ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇ ਅਰਿ ਜੀਤ ਜੁ ਤਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਨੇ ਧਾਮਹਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
lai man sooraj te ar jeet ju taa din aapane dhaameh aayo |Satrajit after taking the jewel from Surya came to his home
ਜੋ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵ ਘਨੋ ਰਵਿ ਕੋ ਚਿਤ ਤਾ ਰਿਝਵਾਯੋ ॥
jo kab sayaam bhanai kar sev ghano rav ko chit taa rijhavaayo |And he had pleased Surya after extremely faithful service
ਅਉ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਤਪਸ੍ਯਾ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਤਿਹ ਕੀ ਹਿਤ ਸੋ ਤਿਹ ਕਉ ਜਬ ਗਾਯੋ ॥
aau kar kai tapasayaa at hee tih kee hit so tih kau jab gaayo |Now he performed many austere self-mortifications and sang the praises of the Lord
ਸੋ ਸੁਨਿ ਕੈ ਸੁ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਪੁਰ ਲੋਗਨ ਯੌ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਪੈ ਜਾਇ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥੨੦੩੭॥
so sun kai su brithaa pur logan yau jadubeer pai jaae sunaayo |2037|Seeing him in such a state, the citizens gave his description to Krishna.2037.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਬਾਚ ॥

ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਅਰੰਜਿਤ ਕਉ ਹਸਿ ਕੈ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਆਇਸ ਦੀਨੋ ॥
kaanrah bulaae aranjit kau has kai mukh te ih aaeis deeno |Krishna called Strajit ('Aranjit') and gave this permission with a smile
ਭੂਪ ਕਉ ਦੈ ਤੁ ਕਹਿਓ ਅਬ ਹੀ ਰਵਿ ਤੇ ਜੁ ਰਿਝਾਇ ਕੈ ਤੈ ਧਨੁ ਲੀਨੋ ॥
bhoop kau dai tu kahio ab hee rav te ju rijhaae kai tai dhan leeno |Krishna called Satrajit and said to him, “The wealth of jewel that you have obtained from Surya, give that to the king”
ਜੋ ਚਹਿ ਕੈ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਚਪਲਾ ਦੁਤਿ ਯਾਹਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਇਨ ਨੈਕੁ ਨ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
jo cheh kai chit mai chapalaa dut yaeh kahiyo in naik na keeno |There was a flash of lighting in his mind and he did not do according to the desire of Krishna
ਮੋਨ ਹੀ ਠਾਨ ਕੇ ਬੈਠਿ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਕੋ ਉਤਰੁ ਨੈਕੁ ਨ ਦੀਨੋ ॥੨੦੩੮॥
mon hee tthaan ke baitth rahiyo brijanaath ko utar naik na deeno |2038|He sat silently and he also did not give any reply to Krishna’s words.2038.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਯੌ ਬਤੀਆ ਕਹਿ ਬੈਠਿ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਅਖੇਟ ਕੇ ਕਾਜ ਪਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
prabh yau bateea keh baitth rahiyo tih bhraat akhett ke kaaj padhaariyo |The Lord having uttered the said words, sat silently, but his brother went away for hunting towards the forest
ਬਾਧ ਭਲੇ ਮਨਿ ਕਉ ਸਿਰ ਪੈ ਸਭ ਹੂੰ ਜਨ ਦੂਸਰ ਭਾਨੁ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
baadh bhale man kau sir pai sabh hoon jan doosar bhaan bichaariyo |He was wearing the jewel on his head and it appeared that a second sun had risen
ਕਾਨਨ ਕੇ ਜਬ ਬੀਚ ਗਯੋ ਮ੍ਰਿਗਰਾਜ ਬਡੋ ਇਕ ਯਾਹਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
kaanan ke jab beech gayo mrigaraaj baddo ik yaeh nihaariyo |When he went within the forest, he saw a lion there
ਤਾਨ ਕੈ ਬਾਨ ਚਲਾਵਤ ਭਯੋ ਸਰ ਵਾ ਸਹਿ ਕੈ ਇਹ ਕੋ ਫਿਰਿ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੨੦੩੯॥
taan kai baan chalaavat bhayo sar vaa seh kai ih ko fir maariyo |2039|There he discharged several arrow one after the other towards the lion.2039.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਜਬ ਤਿਨਿ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸਰਿ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
jab tin ke har ke sar maariyo |When he shot the lion with an arrow,
ਤਬ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖਤ ਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
tab ke har purakhat sanbhaariyo |When the arrow was shot on the head of the lion, the lion sustained his strength
ਏਕ ਚਪੇਟ ਚਉਕਿ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਰੀ ॥
ek chapett chauk tih maaree |Shocked, a slap hit him
ਮਨਿ ਸਮੇਤ ਲਈ ਪਾਗ ਉਤਾਰੀ ॥੨੦੪੦॥
man samet lee paag utaaree |2040|He gave a slap and caused his turban to fall down alongwith the jewel.2040.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਤਿਹ ਬਧ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪਾਗ ਲੈ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਸਿਯੋ ਬਨਿ ਜਾਇ ॥
tih badh kai man paag lai singh dhasiyo ban jaae |After killing him and taking the beads and the turban, the lion entered the den.
ਭਾਲਕ ਏਕ ਬਡੋ ਹੁਤੋ ਤਿਹਿ ਹੇਰਿਓ ਮਿਰਗਰਾਇ ॥੨੦੪੧॥
bhaalak ek baddo huto tihi herio miragaraae |2041|After killing him and taking his turban and jewel, the lion went away to the forest, where he saw a big bear.2041.
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

ਭਾਲਕ ਦੇਖਿ ਮਨੀ ਦੁਤਿ ਕਉ ਸੁ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਕੋਊ ਕੇਹਰਿ ਲੈ ਫਲੁ ਆਯੋ ॥
bhaalak dekh manee dut kau su lakhiyo koaoo kehar lai fal aayo |Seeing the jewel, the bear thought that the lion was bringing some fruit
ਯਾ ਫਲ ਕਉ ਅਬ ਭਛ ਕਰੋ ਸੁ ਛੁਧਾਤਰੁ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਤਹ ਭਛਨ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
yaa fal kau ab bhachh karo su chhudhaatar hvai tah bhachhan dhaayo |He contemplated that he was hungry, therefore he would eat that fruit
