ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਨ ਸੁਭਟ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
bhaat bhaat tan subhatt prahaare |

They attacked each other's heroes

ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਿਥੀ ਪਛਾਰੇ ॥
ttook ttook kar prithee pachhaare |

And threw it on the ground after breaking it into pieces.

ਕੇਸਨ ਤੇ ਗਹਿ ਕਿਤਨ ਪਛਾਰਾ ॥
kesan te geh kitan pachhaaraa |

How many cases were caught and left behind

ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸੈਨ ਤਿਲ ਤਿਲ ਕਰਿ ਡਾਰਾ ॥੩੩੩॥
satru sain til til kar ddaaraa |333|

And reduced the enemy's army to pieces. 333.

ਝਮਕਤ ਕਹੀ ਅਸਿਨ ਕੀ ਧਾਰਾ ॥
jhamakat kahee asin kee dhaaraa |

Somewhere the edges of swords were shining.

ਭਭਕਤ ਰੁੰਡ ਮੁੰਡ ਬਿਕਰਾਰਾ ॥
bhabhakat rundd mundd bikaraaraa |

(Somewhere) fierce heads and torsos were burning.

ਕੇਤਿਕ ਗਰਜਿ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਟਿ ਸਜਹੀ ॥
ketik garaj sasatr katt sajahee |

How many people were marching with armor decorated with luck

ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਛੋਰਿ ਕੇਤੇ ਭਟ ਭਜਹੀ ॥੩੩੪॥
asatr chhor kete bhatt bhajahee |334|

And how many warriors were running away with weapons. 334.

ਮਾਰੇ ਪਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਥੀ ਪਰ ਕੇਤੇ ॥
maare pare prithee par kete |

How many great and great heroes were killed

ਮਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਬਿਕਰਾਰ ਬਿਚੇਤੇ ॥
mahaa beer bikaraar bichete |

They were lying unclean on the ground.

ਝਿਮਿ ਝਿਮਿ ਗਿਰੈ ਸ੍ਰੋਨ ਜਿਮਿ ਝਰਨਾ ॥
jhim jhim girai sron jim jharanaa |

Blood gushed down (from their bodies) like waterfalls.

ਭਯੋ ਘੋਰ ਰਨ ਜਾਤ ਨ ਬਰਨਾ ॥੩੩੫॥
bhayo ghor ran jaat na baranaa |335|

very sad war took place, which cannot be described. 335.

ਅਚਿ ਅਚਿ ਰੁਧਰ ਡਾਕਨੀ ਡਹਕੈ ॥
ach ach rudhar ddaakanee ddahakai |

(Somewhere) the witches (witches) were drinking blood.

ਭਖਿ ਭਖਿ ਮਾਸ ਕਾਕ ਕਹੂੰ ਕਹਕੈ ॥
bhakh bhakh maas kaak kahoon kahakai |

Somewhere crows were crowing after eating meat.

ਦਾਰੁਨ ਹੋਤ ਭਯੋ ਤਹ ਜੁਧਾ ॥
daarun hot bhayo tah judhaa |

A terrible war took place there.

ਹਮਰੇ ਬੀਚ ਨ ਆਵਤ ਬੁਧਾ ॥੩੩੬॥
hamare beech na aavat budhaa |336|

(To guess that) does not come to my mind. 336.

ਮਾਰੇ ਪਰੇ ਦੈਤ ਕਹੀ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
maare pare dait kahee bhaare |

Big giants were killed somewhere

ਗਿਰੇ ਕਾਢਿ ਕਰਿ ਦਾਤ ਡਰਾਰੇ ॥
gire kaadt kar daat ddaraare |

And somewhere the terrible teeth have fallen.

ਸ੍ਰੋਨਤ ਬਮਤ ਬਦਨ ਤੇ ਏਕਾ ॥
sronat bamat badan te ekaa |

Some in a mighty war

ਬੀਰ ਖੇਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਅਨੇਕਾ ॥੩੩੭॥
beer khet balavaan anekaa |337|

They were vomiting blood from their mouths. 337.

ਬਡੇ ਬਡੇ ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਸੀਂਗਾ ॥
badde badde jin ke sir seengaa |

The giants had big horns on their heads

ਚੋਂਚੈ ਬਡੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਜਿਨ ਢੀਂਗਾ ॥
chonchai baddee bhaat jin dteengaa |

And whose beaks were as big as lions.

ਸ੍ਰੋਨਤ ਸੇ ਸਰ ਨੈਨ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
sronat se sar nain apaaraa |

(Their) blood-stained nains were as large as a lake

ਨਿਰਖ ਜਿਨੈ ਉਪਜਤ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭਾਰਾ ॥੩੩੮॥
nirakh jinai upajat bhram bhaaraa |338|

Those who used to see heavy delusion. 338.

ਮਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੁਲ ਬਲ ॥
mahaa beer trai lok atul bal |

(Those giants) were great warriors and mighty in strength,

ਅਰਿ ਅਨੇਕ ਜੀਤੇ ਜਿਨ ਜਲ ਥਲ ॥
ar anek jeete jin jal thal |

Who had defeated many enemies in Jal Thal.

ਮਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਡਰਾਰੇ ॥
mahaa beer balavaan ddaraare |

(He was) mighty, mighty and fearsome.

ਚੁਨਿ ਚੁਨਿ ਬਾਲ ਬਰਛਿਯਨ ਮਾਰੇ ॥੩੩੯॥
chun chun baal barachhiyan maare |339|

(Them) Bala (Dulah Dei) had chosen and killed with a spear. 339.

ਕੇਤਿਕ ਸੁਭਟ ਅਬਿਕਟੇ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
ketik subhatt abikatte maare |

How many heroes were killed with ease

ਕੇਤਿਕ ਕਰਨ ਕੇਹਰੀ ਫਾਰੇ ॥
ketik karan keharee faare |

And how many ears the lion tore off.

ਕੇਤਿਕ ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ ਅਰਿ ਕੂਟੇ ॥
ketik mahaa kaal ar kootte |

How many enemies were beaten by the great age.

ਬਾਦਲ ਸੇ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਦਲ ਫੂਟੇ ॥੩੪੦॥
baadal se sabh hee dal footte |340|

Like a change, all the (enemy) parties were scattered. 340.

ਕੇਤੇ ਬੀਰ ਬਰਛਿਯਨ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
kete beer barachhiyan maare |

How many warriors killed with spears.

ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਕੇਤਿਕ ਕਰਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
ttook ttook ketik kar ddaare |

Tore some to pieces.

ਕੇਤੇ ਹਨੇ ਖੜਗ ਕੀ ਧਾਰਾ ॥
kete hane kharrag kee dhaaraa |

Killed many with the edge of the kharg.

ਲੋਹ ਕਟੀਲੇ ਸੂਰ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥੩੪੧॥
loh katteele soor apaaraa |341|

Endless warriors were cut down with iron (meaning with armor). 341.

ਕੇਤਿਕ ਸੂਲ ਸੈਹਥੀ ਹਨੇ ॥
ketik sool saihathee hane |

What a beautiful handsome soldier

ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੁਘਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਬਨੇ ॥
sundar sughar sipaahee bane |

The warriors killed with shul and saihthi.

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਪਰੇ ਸੁ ਬੀਰ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
eih bidh pare su beer prahaare |

In this way (with blows of weapons) the warriors fell down.

ਭੂਮਿ ਚਾਲ ਮਨੋ ਗਿਰੇ ਮੁਨਾਰੇ ॥੩੪੨॥
bhoom chaal mano gire munaare |342|

(It looked like this) as if the minaret had fallen due to an earthquake. 342.

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਗਿਰੇ ਬੀਰ ਰਨ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
eih bidh gire beer ran bhaare |

Thus great heroes fell in battle,

ਜਨੁ ਨਗ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਬਜ੍ਰ ਭੇ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
jan nag indr bajr bhe maare |

As if Indra had broken the mountain with a thunderbolt.

ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਜੂਝੇ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਘਨੇ ॥
ttook ttook joojhe hvai ghane |

(They) were lying very dead in pieces,

ਜਾਨੁਕ ਗੌਸ ਕੁਤਬ ਸੇ ਬਨੇ ॥੩੪੩॥
jaanuk gauas kutab se bane |343|

It is as if the position (of the limbs in the bandage during the Jumma prayer) is made like Gauns Qutb. 343.

ਸ੍ਰੋਨ ਪੁਲਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕਿਤੇ ਪਰਾਏ ॥
sron pulit hvai kite paraae |

Many are running away covered in blood,

ਚਾਚਰਿ ਖੇਲਿ ਮਨੋ ਘਰ ਆਏ ॥
chaachar khel mano ghar aae |

As if they had come home after playing Holi.

ਭਾਜਤ ਭਏ ਬਿਮਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਐਸੇ ॥
bhaajat bhe biman hvai aaise |

(They) were running away in such wantonness,

ਦਰਬ ਹਰਾਇ ਜੁਆਰੀ ਜੈਸੇ ॥੩੪੪॥
darab haraae juaaree jaise |344|

Just as gamblers lose money (runs away). 344.
