ਉਰ ਭਏ ਲੇਹਿ ਲਗਾਇ ਨ ਨ੍ਯਾਰੋ ਕੀਜਿਯੈ ॥
aur bhe lehi lagaae na nayaaro keejiyai |(Let us) hold (it) to the breast and (never) part.
ਹੋ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਛਬਿ ਅਮਿਤ ਸਜਨ ਕੀ ਜੀਜਿਯੈ ॥੧੦॥
ho nirakh nirakh chhab amit sajan kee jeejiyai |10|Let us live by seeing the limitless image of the gentleman. 10.
ਜਿ ਕੋ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਪੁਰਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਕੁਅਰ ਕੀ ਛਬਿ ਲਹੈ ॥
ji ko tarun pur naar kuar kee chhab lahai |If any woman or young woman of the city sees the image of Raj Kumar
ਉਡ ਲਪਟੋਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਗ ਯਹੇ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਕਹੈ ॥
audd lapatton ih sang yahe chit mai kahai |So in the chit she says that fly and go with her.
ਏਕ ਬਾਰ ਇਹ ਛੈਲ ਚਿਕਨਿਯਹਿ ਪਾਇਯੈ ॥
ek baar ih chhail chikaniyeh paaeiyai |Once I get this gentle pregnancy
ਹੋ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਜੁਗ ਕ੍ਰੋਰਿ ਸੁ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਇਯੈ ॥੧੧॥
ho janam janam jug kror su bal bal jaaeiyai |11|So let me be free from it for generations and millions of ages. 11.
ਅਧਿਕ ਕੁਅਰ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਬਿਲੋਕਹਿ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥
adhik kuar kee prabhaa bilokeh aae kai |Many come to see the beauty of Kunwar.
ਜੋਰਿ ਜੋਰਿ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਰਹੈ ਕਛੂ ਮੁਸਕਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
jor jor drig rahai kachhoo musakaae kai |Some of them smiled by joining the beads together.
ਪਰਮ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਤਨ ਬਿਧੀ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ਤੇ ਭਈ ॥
param preet tan bidhee divaanee te bhee |They became diwanis pierced by (the arrow of) supreme love.
ਹੋ ਲੋਕ ਲਾਜ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਬਿਸਰਿ ਚਿਤ ਤੇ ਗਈ ॥੧੨॥
ho lok laaj kee baat bisar chit te gee |12|The matter of the people's lodge was forgotten from (their) mind. 12.
ਨਰੀ ਸੁਰੀ ਕਿਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਆਸੁਰੀ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬੀ ॥
naree suree kin maeh aasuree gandhrabee |Of men, of gods, of giants, of Gandharvas,
ਕਹਾ ਕਿੰਨ੍ਰਨੀ ਕੂਰ ਜਛਨੀ ਨਾਗਨੀ ॥
kahaa kinranee koor jachhanee naaganee |What about the scornful ('Kur') wives of Kinnars, Yakshas and Nagas,
ਲਛਮਿ ਆਦਿ ਦੁਤਿ ਹੇਰਿ ਰਹੈ ਉਰਝਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
lachham aad dut her rahai urajhaae kai |Lachhmi etc. were also enthralled by seeing (its) beauty
ਹੋ ਬਿਨੁ ਦਾਮਨ ਕੈ ਦੀਏ ਸੁ ਜਾਤ ਬਿਕਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੧੩॥
ho bin daaman kai dee su jaat bikaae kai |13|And they were sold without giving a price. 13.
ਰਹੀ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਰੀਝਯਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥
rahee chanchalaa reejhayat prabhaa nihaar kai |Seeing (her) beauty, the women were enthralled.
ਪ੍ਰਾਨਨ ਲੌ ਧਨ ਧਾਮ ਦੇਤ ਸਭ ਵਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥
praanan lau dhan dhaam det sabh vaar kai |Money and wealth were pouring in from mortals.
ਹਸਿ ਹਸਿ ਕਹੈ ਕੁਅਰ ਜੌ ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਪਾਇਯੈ ॥
has has kahai kuar jau ik din paaeiyai |They used to laugh and say that if one day we get Raj Kumar
ਹੋ ਬਹੁਰ ਨ ਨ੍ਯਾਰੋ ਕਰਿਯੈ ਹਿਯੈ ਲਗਾਇਯੈ ॥੧੪॥
ho bahur na nayaaro kariyai hiyai lagaaeiyai |14|So let's attach it to the heart and then (never) separate it. 14.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਕੁਮਾਰ ਮਤੀ ਬਹਨਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰਿ ॥
sree sukumaar matee bahan taa kee raaj kumaar |His sister was Raj Kumari Sukumar Mati,
ਅਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ਛਬਿ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਕੀ ਰੀਝਤ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ॥੧੫॥
apramaan chhab bhraat kee reejhat bhee nihaar |15|She became fascinated by seeing her brother's unique beauty. 15.

ਨਿਸੁ ਦਿਨ ਯੌ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਬਿਚਾਰੈ ॥

ਕਿਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਮੌ ਸੌ ਕੁਅਰ ਬਿਹਾਰੈ ॥
kih bidh mau sau kuar bihaarai |That somehow Kunwar Raman should have sex with me.
ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਲਾਜ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਜਬ ਧਰੈ ॥
bhraat laaj man meh jab dharai |When the brother's lodge (relationship) was kept in mind
ਲੋਕ ਲਾਜ ਕੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਰੈ ॥੧੬॥
lok laaj kee chintaa karai |16|Then people start worrying about the lodge. 16.
ਲਾਜ ਕਰੈ ਅਰੁ ਚਿਤ ਚਲਾਵੈ ॥
laaj karai ar chit chalaavai |(She) used to do the lodge, but also used to shake the Chit
ਕ੍ਯੋ ਹੂੰ ਕੁਅਰ ਹਾਥ ਨਹਿ ਆਵੈ ॥
kayo hoon kuar haath neh aavai |However, Kumar was not coming to hand.
ਇਕ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਤਬ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
eik charitr tab bachitr bichaariyo |Then he thought of a strange character
ਜਾ ਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਕੁਅਰ ਕੋ ਟਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੭॥
jaa te dharam kuar ko ttaariyo |17|With which he corrupted the religion of Kunwar. 17.
ਬੇਸ੍ਵਾ ਰੂਪ ਆਪਨੋ ਕਰਿਯੋ ॥
besvaa roop aapano kariyo |(She) made herself a prostitute
ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਗਜ ਮੋਤਿਨ ਜਰਿਯੋ ॥
baar baar gaj motin jariyo |And adorned (his) hair with jewels.
ਹਾਰ ਸਿੰਗਾਰ ਚਾਰੁ ਤਨ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
haar singaar chaar tan dhaare |Beautiful necklaces adorned the body.
ਜਨ ਸਸਿ ਤੀਰ ਬਿਰਾਜਤ ਤਾਰੇ ॥੧੮॥
jan sas teer biraajat taare |18|(It looked like this) as if the stars were shining near the moon. 18.
ਪਾਨ ਚਬਾਤ ਸਭਾ ਮੈ ਆਈ ॥
paan chabaat sabhaa mai aaee |She came to the court while eating paan
ਸਭ ਲੋਗਨ ਕੌ ਲਯੋ ਲੁਭਾਈ ॥
sabh logan kau layo lubhaaee |And enticed all the people.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕਹ ਅਧਿਕ ਕਟਾਛ ਦਿਖਾਏ ॥
nrip kah adhik kattaachh dikhaae |Show the king a lot of sarcasm,
ਜਾਨੁਕ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਇਕਨ ਘਾਏ ॥੧੯॥
jaanuk binaa saaeikan ghaae |19|As if he had killed without an arrow. 19.
ਹੇਰਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਰੀਝਿ ਛਬਿ ਗਯੋ ॥
herat nripat reejh chhab gayo |The king was enchanted by seeing (her) beauty
ਘਾਇਲ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਇਕਨ ਭਯੋ ॥
ghaaeil binaa saaeikan bhayo |And was wounded without an arrow.
ਆਜੁ ਨਿਸਾ ਇਹ ਬੋਲ ਪਠੈਹੋ ॥
aaj nisaa ih bol patthaiho |(started thinking in mind) I will call it tonight
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਰੁਚਿ ਮਾਨਿ ਕਮੈਹੋ ॥੨੦॥
kaam bhog ruch maan kamaiho |20|And (with this) I will perform sexual activity with interest. 20.
ਬੀਤਯੋ ਦਿਵਸ ਨਿਸਾ ਜਬ ਭਈ ॥
beetayo divas nisaa jab bhee |When the day passed and the night came
ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੁਅਰ ਵਹੁ ਲਈ ॥
nikatt bulaae kuar vahu lee |So Kunwar called him.
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਿਹ ਸਾਥ ਕਮਾਯੋ ॥
kaam bhog tih saath kamaayo |had sex with her,
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਛੂ ਨਹਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੨੧॥
bhed abhed kachhoo neh paayo |21|But Bhed Abhed could not understand anything. 21.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਤਾ ਸੋ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਰਤਿ ਮਾਨੀ ਰੁਚਿ ਮਾਨਿ ॥
lapatt lapatt taa so kuar rat maanee ruch maan |Kumari fondly played with him.
