ਕੜਕਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰਿ ਚੜਗੁ ਭੜਕਿ ਭਾਦਵਿ ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਗਜਤ ॥

ਸੜਕ ਤੇਗ ਦਾਮਿਨ ਤੜਕ ਤੜਭੜ ਰਣ ਸਜਤ ॥

He is the one who thunders like the clouds of Bhandon, who cracks the sword like the lightning,

ਲੁੜਕ ਲੁਥ ਬਿਥੁਰਗ ਸੇਲ ਸਾਮੁਹਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਘਲਤ ॥

And who scatters the fragments of the corpses of the warriors lying in front of him

ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੋਸ ਰਾਵਤ ਰਣਹਿ ਦੂਸਰ ਕੋ ਝਲਤ ॥

His anger cannot be endured by anyone in the war

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਤਿਹ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਭਨ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਰਸ ਮਚਿ ਹੈ ॥

The day on which the sentiment of anger becoming your comrade, becomes the cause of your dishonour,

ਬਿਨ ਇਕ ਸੀਲ ਦੁਸੀਲ ਭਟ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਕਵਣ ਰਣਿ ਰਚਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੩॥

On that day who will fight with him except the warrior named Sheel (gentleness).183.

ਧਨੁਖ ਮੰਡਲਾਕਾਰ ਲਗਤ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਸਦੀਵ ਰਣ ॥

ਨਿਰਖਤ ਤੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਭਟਕ ਭਾਜਤ ਹੈ ਭਟ ਗਣ ॥

He, whose circular round is his bow and who is ever busy in fighting, seeing whose sharp influence, the warriors go astray and flee

ਕਉਨ ਬਾਧਿ ਤੇ ਧੀਰ ਬੀਰ ਨਿਰਖਤ ਦੁਤਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥

Seeing him, the brilliance of the warrior drops endurance and becomes shy and

ਨਹਨ ਜੁਧ ਠਹਰਾਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਸਤ ਦਸਹੂੰ ਦਿਸ ਭਾਜਤ ॥

They run away, not staying anymore in the battlefield, fleeing in all the ten directions

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਅਨਰਥ ਸਮਰਥ ਰਣਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਮਟਕ ਹੈ ॥

The day on which this warriors named Anarth (misfortune) will cause his horse to dance before you,

ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਧੀਰ ਸੁਨ ਬੀਰ ਬਰੁ ਸੁ ਦੂਸਰ ਕਉਨ ਹਟਕਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੪॥

O the superb one amongst the warriors! who will fight against him except EUNDURANCE.184.

ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਨਿ ਧਰੇ ਧੁਜਾ ਪੀਅਰੀ ਰਥ ਧਾਰੇ ॥

That one is holding the yellow bow in his hand, wearing yellow garments on his body,

ਪੀਤ ਧਨੁਖ ਕਰਿ ਸੋਭ ਮਾਨ ਰਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਟਾਰੇ ॥

Having fixed the yellow banner on his chariot, he is the smasher of the pride of the god of love

ਪੀਤ ਬਰਣ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਪੀਤ ਬਰਣੈ ਰਥ ਬਾਜੀ ॥

His charioteer, chariot and horses all are of yellow colour

ਪੀਤ ਬਰਨ ਕੋ ਬਾਣ ਖੇਤਿ ਚੜਿ ਗਰਜਤ ਗਾਜੀ ॥

His arrows are also of yellow colour and he thunders in the battlefield

ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬੈਰ ਸੂਰਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਗਰਜਿ ਦਲ ਗਾਹਿ ਹੈ ॥

ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਵਧਾਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਅਉਰ ਸਮਰ ਕੋ ਚਾਹਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੫॥

O king! the day on which this type of warriors named Vairabh (enmity) will roar and incite his army, on that day, who will fight with him except (Gian (knowledge).185.

ਮਲਿਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਨਿ ਧਰੇ ਮਲਿਤ ਭੂਖਨ ਰਥ ਬਾਧੇ ॥

ਮਲਿਤ ਮੁਕਟ ਸਿਰ ਧਰੇ ਪਰਮ ਬਾਣਣ ਕਹ ਸਾਧੇ ॥

Wearing dirty clothes on the dirty body and heaving tied dirty ornaments with his chariot, with dirty crown on his head and the arrows fashioned for discharge

ਮਲਿਤ ਬਰਣ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਮਲਿਤ ਤਾਹੂੰ ਆਭੂਖਨ ॥

ਮਲਯਾਗਰ ਕੀ ਗੰਧ ਸਕਲ ਸਤ੍ਰੂ ਕੁਲ ਦੂਖਨ ॥

And taking with him the charioteer of dirty colour and dirty ornamentation, this warrior with fragrance of sandal and the one agonizing his enemies,

ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਨਿੰਦ ਅਨਧਰ ਸੁਭਟ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਅਯੋਧਨ ਮਚਿ ਹੈ ॥

ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਧੀਰਜ ਸੁਨ ਬੀਰ ਬਰ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਕਵਣ ਰਣਿ ਰਚਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੬॥

And named Ninda (slander), the day when he will begin his fighting, on that day, who will confront him except ENDURANCE.186.

ਘੋਰ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਨਿ ਧਰੇ ਘੋਰ ਪਗੀਆ ਸਿਰ ਬਾਧੇ ॥

ਘੋਰ ਬਰਣ ਸਿਰਿ ਮੁਕਟ ਘੋਰ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਕਹ ਸਾਧੇ ॥

Wearing dreadful clothes, dreadful turban and dreadful crown, reformer of the dreadful enemies,

ਘੋਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੁਖ ਜਪਤ ਪਰਮ ਆਘੋਰ ਰੂਪ ਤਿਹ ॥

ਲਖਤ ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਭਹਰਾਤ ਘੋਰ ਆਭਾ ਲਖਿ ਕੈ ਜਿਹ ॥

Having dreadful form and repeating the dreadful mantra, seeing whom even the heaven becomes fearful,

ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਨਰਕ ਦੁਰ ਧਰਖ ਭਟ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੋਸਿ ਰਣਿ ਆਇ ਹੈ ॥

ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਹਰਿਨਾਮ ਸੁਨ ਹੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਕੋਇ ਬਚਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੭॥

That tyrannical warriors named Narak (Hell) the day when he in great rage will come for fighting, at that time, who will be able to save you except the Name of the Lord?187.

ਸਮਟ ਸਾਗ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹੈ ਸੇਲ ਸਾਮੁਹਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਸੁਟੈ ॥

ਕਲਿਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਸੰਜੁਗਤਿ ਗਲਿਤ ਗੈਵਰ ਜਿਯੋਂ ਜੁਟੈ ॥

He, ho catches hold his lance while getting back and throws it while coming forward, he attacks in great rage like an animal, he cannot be controlled by one at a time

ਇਕ ਇਕ ਬਿਨੁ ਕੀਨ ਇਕ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਨ ਚਲੈ ॥

ਇਕ ਇਕ ਸੰਗ ਭਿੜੈ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਝਲੈ ॥

He fights with one at a time and facing him receives the blows from his weapons

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਨਸੀਲ ਦੁਸੀਲ ਭਟ ਸਹਤ ਕੁਚੀਲ ਜਬਿ ਗਰਜਿ ਹੈ ॥

ਬਿਨੁ ਏਕ ਸੁਚਹਿ ਸੁਨਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਣਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਬਰਜਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੮॥

Such an unkind warrior, O king! when he will thunder in fury, then none else except the Purity of mind will be able to deal with him.188.

ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਦੋਊ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਸਬ ਬੇਦ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਰ ॥

ਅਰੁਣ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਅਰੁ ਰਕਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਵਾਨ ਧਨੁਰਧਰ ॥

Skilful in arms and weapons and scholar of Vedas and Shastras, having red eyes and wearing red garments, a patient archer,

ਬਿਕਟ ਬਾਕ੍ਰਯ ਬਡ ਡ੍ਰਯਾਛ ਬਡੋ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਧਰੇ ਮਨ ॥

ਅਮਿਤ ਰੂਪ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਅਭੈ ਆਲੋਕ ਅਜੈ ਰਨ ॥

Having formidable and proud mind, with unlimited brilliance, unconquerable and lustrous,

ਅਸ ਸੁਭਟ ਛੁਧਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਸਬਲ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੰਗ ਰਣ ਰਚਿ ਹੈ ॥

ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨਿਗ੍ਰਹ ਬਿਨਾ ਅਉਰ ਜੀਅ ਨ ਲੈ ਬਚਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੯॥

The warrior named HUNGER and THIRST, the day when he will precipitate the war, O king! you will survive only on the strength of persistence.189.

ਪਵਨ ਬੇਗ ਰਥ ਚਲਤ ਸੁ ਛਬਿ ਸਾਵਜ ਤੜਤਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ॥

The beauty of the chariot moving with the speed of wind is like lightning

ਗਿਰਤ ਧਰਨ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ ਨੈਕ ਜਿਹ ਦਿਸਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਝਾਕਤ ॥

The pretty damsels only on seeing him fall on the earth

ਮਦਨ ਮੋਹ ਮਨ ਰਹਤ ਮਨੁਛ ਦੇਖਿ ਛਬਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥

The god of love is also fascinated by him and the human beings seeing his beauty feel shy

ਉਪਜਤ ਹੀਯ ਹੁਲਾਸ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਦੁਤਿ ਕਹ ਦੁਖ ਭਾਜਤ ॥

On seeing him, the heart is overjoyed and the affictions run away

ਇਮਿ ਕਪਟ ਦੇਵ ਅਨਜੇਵ ਨ੍ਰਿਪੁ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਝਟਕ ਦੈ ਧਾਇ ਹੈ ॥

This warrior Kapal (deceit), O king! the day on which he will come forward with a jerk

ਬਿਨੁ ਏਕ ਸਾਤਿ ਸੁਨਹੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਕਵਨ ਸਮੁਹਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੦॥

, Then who will confront him except Shannti (Peace) ? 190.
