ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਸੁਤਾ ਰੂਮੀਨ ਕੀ ਕੀਯੋ ਬ੍ਯਾਹ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
pratham sutaa roomeen kee keeyo bayaah banaae |First married to the girl of Rum Des (of the king).
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਕਨੌਜਿਸ ਕੀ ਸੁਤਾ ਬਰੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ ਬਜਾਇ ॥੪॥
bahur kanauajis kee sutaa baree mridang bajaae |4|And then married the daughter of the king of Kanauj by playing Nagara. 4.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਬਹੁਰਿ ਦੇਸ ਨੈਪਾਲ ਪਯਾਨੋ ਤਿਨ ਕਿਯੋ ॥

ਕਸਤੂਰੀ ਕੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਗਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਿਧਿ ਗਹਿ ਲਿਯੋ ॥

ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬੰਗਾਲਾ ਕੀ ਦਿਸਿ ਆਪੁ ਪਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
bahur bangaalaa kee dis aap padhaariyo |Then he went to Bengal.
ਹੋ ਆਨਿ ਮਿਲ੍ਯੋ ਸੋ ਬਚ੍ਯੋ ਅਰ੍ਰਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੫॥
ho aan milayo so bachayo arrayo tih maariyo |5|(He) who came to meet him, he was saved and he who persisted, he was killed. 5.
ਜੀਤ ਬੰਗਾਲਾ ਛਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਪਰ ਧਾਇਯੋ ॥
jeet bangaalaa chhaaj karan par dhaaeiyo |After winning Bengal, he again attacked 'Chhaj Karna'.
ਤਿਨੋ ਜੀਤਿ ਨਾਗਰ ਪਰ ਅਧਿਕ ਰਿਸਾਇਯੋ ॥
tino jeet naagar par adhik risaaeiyo |After defeating them, Nagar (Snake) became very angry on the country.
ਏਕਪਾਦ ਬਹੁ ਹਨੈ ਸੂਰ ਸਾਵਤ ਬਨੇ ॥
ekapaad bahu hanai soor saavat bane |(Then) he killed many vassals and warriors in Ekpad (Kerala) region.
ਹੋ ਜੀਤਿ ਪੂਰਬਹਿ ਕਿਯੋ ਪਯਾਨੋ ਦਛਿਨੇ ॥੬॥
ho jeet poorabeh kiyo payaano dachhine |6|(In this way) he conquered the east and went south. 6.
ਛਪੈ ਛੰਦ ॥
chhapai chhand |Printed Verse:
ਝਾਰਿ ਖੰਡਿਯਨ ਝਾਰਿ ਚਮਕਿ ਚਾਦਿਯਨ ਸੰਘਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
jhaar khanddiyan jhaar chamak chaadiyan sanghaariyo |He swept away the inhabitants of Jhar Khand and then became enraged and killed the people of Chand Nagar.
ਬਿਦ੍ਰਭ ਦੇਸਿਯਨ ਬਾਰਿ ਖੰਡ ਬੁੰਦੇਲ ਬਿਦਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
bidrabh desiyan baar khandd bundel bidaariyo |(Then) burning the Bidrabha countrymen, destroyed (the warriors of) Bundel Khand.
ਖੜਗ ਪਾਨ ਗਹਿ ਖੇਤ ਖੁਨਿਸ ਖੰਡਿਸਨ ਬਿਹੰਡਿਯੋ ॥
kharrag paan geh khet khunis khanddisan bihanddiyo |With a sword in his hand, he got angry in the battlefield and attacked the Khargadharis.
ਪੁਨਿ ਮਾਰਾਸਟ੍ਰ ਤਿਲੰਗ ਦ੍ਰੌੜ ਤਿਲ ਤਿਲ ਕਰਿ ਖੰਡਿਯੋ ॥
pun maaraasattr tilang drauarr til til kar khanddiyo |Then Maharashtra, Tilang, Dravad (to the villagers) were cut off one by one.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੂਰਬੀਰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰਸ ਮਹੀ ਦਈ ਮਹਿ ਇਸਨ ਗਹਿ ॥
nrip soorabeer sundar saras mahee dee meh isan geh |Those who were very handsome brave kings, took the land (from them) and then returned it.
ਦਛਨਹਿ ਜੀਤਿ ਪਟਨ ਉਪਟਿ ਸੁ ਕਿਯ ਪਯਾਨ ਪੁਨਿ ਪਸਚਮਹਿ ॥੭॥
dachhaneh jeet pattan upatt su kiy payaan pun pasachameh |7|After winning the south direction and destroying 'Patan' (city) then he attacked the west direction.7.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥
arril |adamant:
ਬਰਬਰੀਨ ਕੌ ਜੀਤਿ ਬਾਹੁ ਸਾਲੀਨ ਬਿਹੰਡਿਯੋ ॥
barabareen kau jeet baahu saaleen bihanddiyo |After conquering the barbarian countrymen, he (then) destroyed the charioteer countrymen.
ਗਰਬ ਅਰਬ ਕੋ ਦਾਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਦਰਬਿਨ ਕੋ ਦੰਡਿਯੋ ॥
garab arab ko daeh sarab darabin ko danddiyo |(Then) punished the rich ('Darbin') by burning the hankar of the Arab country.
ਅਰਬ ਖਰਬ ਰਿਪੁ ਚਰਬਿ ਜਰਬਿ ਛਿਨ ਇਕ ਮੈ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
arab kharab rip charab jarab chhin ik mai maare |Then innumerable enemies were chewed up and beaten to death by inflicting pain (by giving 'Jarbi' blows).
ਹੋ ਹਿੰਗੁਲਾਜ ਹਬਸੀ ਹਰੇਵ ਹਲਬੀ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥੮॥
ho hingulaaj habasee harev halabee han ddaare |8|Then he killed the people of Hinglaj country, Habash country, Harev country and Halab country.8.
ਮਗਰਬੀਨ ਕੋ ਜੀਤਿ ਸਰਬ ਗਰਬਿਨ ਕੋ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
magarabeen ko jeet sarab garabin ko maariyo |Then he conquered the West and killed all the arrogant.
ਸਰਬ ਚਰਬਿਯਨ ਚਰਬਿ ਗਰਬਿ ਗਜਨੀ ਕੋ ਗਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
sarab charabiyan charab garab gajanee ko gaariyo |Chewed up all the Shaktivars and destroyed the Garb of Ghazni.
ਮਾਲਨੇਰ ਮੁਲਤਾਨ ਮਾਲਵਾ ਬਸਿ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
maalaner mulataan maalavaa bas kiyo |(Then) colonized the country of Malner, Multan and Malwa.
ਹੋ ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਜੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਚੀ ਦਿਸਿ ਜੈ ਕੋ ਦਿਯੋ ॥੯॥
ho dundabh jeet prateechee dis jai ko diyo |9|(In this way) beat the west direction and played the song of 'Jai'. 9.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਤੀਨਿ ਦਿਸਾ ਕੋ ਜੀਤਿ ਕੈ ਉਤਰ ਕਿਯੋ ਪਯਾਨ ॥
teen disaa ko jeet kai utar kiyo payaan |After conquering the three directions, he started towards the north direction.
ਸਭ ਦੇਸੀ ਰਾਜਾਨ ਲੈ ਦੈ ਕੈ ਜੀਤ ਨਿਸਾਨ ॥੧੦॥
sabh desee raajaan lai dai kai jeet nisaan |10|He took the kings of all the countries with him by providing threats of victory. 10.
ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਕੇ ਏਸ ਸਭ ਅਪਨੀ ਅਪਨੀ ਸੈਨ ॥
des des ke es sabh apanee apanee sain |All the knights of the nations and the kings of the masses of beauty
ਜੋਰਿ ਸਿਕੰਦਰਿ ਸੇ ਚੜੇ ਸੂਰ ਸਰਸ ਸਭ ਐਨ ॥੧੧॥
jor sikandar se charre soor saras sabh aain |11|Gathering his own army, he went up with Alexander. 11.
ਭੁਜੰਗ ਛੰਦ ॥
bhujang chhand |Bhujang Verse:
ਚੜੇ ਉਤਰਾ ਪੰਥ ਕੇ ਬੀਰ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
charre utaraa panth ke beer bhaare |All the great warriors of the north rose
ਬਜੇ ਘੋਰ ਬਾਦਿਤ੍ਰ ਭੇਰੀ ਨਗਾਰੇ ॥
baje ghor baaditr bheree nagaare |And loud war bells began to sound.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥੀ ਚਾਲ ਕੀਨੋ ਦਸੋ ਨਾਗ ਭਾਗੇ ॥
prithee chaal keeno daso naag bhaage |The earth began to shake and the elephants ('serpents') of the ten directions ran away.
ਭਯੋ ਸੋਰ ਭਾਰੋ ਮਹਾ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਜਾਗੇ ॥੧੨॥
bhayo sor bhaaro mahaa rudr jaage |12|There was a lot of noise (due to which) Maha Rudra's samadhi was opened. 12.

ਪ੍ਰਥਮਹਿ ਜਾਇ ਬਲਖ ਕੌ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

ਸਹਿਰ ਬੁਖਾਰਾ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਉਜਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
sahir bukhaaraa bahur ujaariyo |Then sacked the city of Bukhara.
ਤਿਬਿਤ ਜਾਇ ਤਲਬ ਕੌ ਦੀਨੋ ॥
tibit jaae talab kau deeno |After arriving in the country of Tibet, Sada gave (meaning Vangarya)
ਜੀਤਿ ਦੇਸ ਅਪਨੇ ਬਸਿ ਕੀਨੋ ॥੧੩॥
jeet des apane bas keeno |13|And conquered that country and subjugated it. 13.

ਕਾਸਮੀਰ ਕਸਿਕਾਰ ਕਬੁਜ ਕਾਬਲ ਕੌ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
kaasameer kasikaar kabuj kaabal kau keeno |Kashmir, Kashgar, Kamboja, Kabul,
ਕਸਟਵਾਰ ਕੁਲੂ ਕਲੂਰ ਕੈਠਲ ਕਹ ਲੀਨੋ ॥
kasattavaar kuloo kaloor kaitthal kah leeno |Acquired Kastwar, Kulu, Kalur, Kaithal (Kaithal) etc.
ਕਾਬੋਜ ਕਿਲਮਾਕ ਕਠਿਨ ਪਲ ਮੈ ਕਟਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
kaaboj kilamaak katthin pal mai katt ddaare |Kamboj, Kilmak etc. tough (soldiers) were cut in moments
ਹੋ ਕੋਟਿ ਚੀਨ ਕੇ ਕਟਕ ਹਨੇ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਾਰੇ ॥੧੪॥
ho kott cheen ke kattak hane kar kop karaare |14|And came in great anger and killed the innumerable army of China. 14.
