In him (he) himself was consumed
Both of them reduced themselves to ashes and in their final hour cursed the king in great anger.34.
The speech of the Brahmin addressed to the King :
PADDHRAI STANZA
As we (both) gave up our lives in the separation of the son,
“O king! The manner in which we are breathing our last, you will also experience the same situation.”
Saying this, the Brahmin burned with his wife
Saying this, the Brahmin was burnt to ashes alongwith his wife and went to heaven.35.
The speech of the king:

Did the king want me to burn today?
Then the king expressed this wish that either he would burn himself that day or forsaking his kingdom, he would go to the forest,
Or go home and say that
‘What will I say at home? That I am coming back after killing the Brahmin with my own hand! 36.
Speech of gods :
PADDHRAI STANZA
Then God spoke in a good way.
Then there was an utterance from heavens: “O Dasrath! Do not be sad
Vishnu (Lord) will have sons (born in form) in your house
“Vishnu will take birth as son in your home and through him, the impact of the sinful deed of this day will end.37.
There will be an avatar named Ram
“He will be famous by the name of Ramavtar and he will redeem the whole world
He will destroy the wicked in one fell swoop.
“He will destroy the tyrants in an instant and in this way his fame will spread on all the four sides.”38.
