ਆਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕਹ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦਯੋ ਮਿਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
aan priyaa kah preetam dayo milaae kai |And married the girlfriend by bringing Pritam.
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਤਿਹ ਅੰਗ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ਸੀ ਭਈ ॥
nirakh kuar tih ang divaanee see bhee |Seeing his body, Kumari became crazy
ਹੋ ਬਿਰਹ ਸਮੁੰਦ ਕੇ ਮਾਝ ਮਗਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ਗਈ ॥੭॥

ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸ੍ਰਯੋਂ ਯੌ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
preetam srayon yau priyaa sunaayo |Pritam was told by his girlfriend like this
ਤੈ ਮੇਰੋ ਮਨ ਆਜੁ ਚੁਰਾਯੋ ॥
tai mero man aaj churaayo |That you have stolen my heart today.
ਹੌ ਹੂੰ ਐਸ ਜਤਨ ਕਛੁ ਕਰਿਹੌ ॥
hau hoon aais jatan kachh karihau |I will try something like this
ਸਭਹਿਨ ਛੋਰਿ ਤੋਹਿ ਕੌ ਬਰਿਹੌ ॥੮॥
sabhahin chhor tohi kau barihau |8|That I will leave everyone and marry you. 8.
ਜੋ ਤੁਹਿ ਕਹੌ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਸੋ ਕਰਿਯਹੁ ॥
jo tuhi kahau mitr so kariyahu |friend! Do as (I) tell you.
ਮੋਰ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੇ ਨੈਕ ਨ ਡਰਿਯਹੁ ॥
mor pitaa te naik na ddariyahu |Not to be afraid of my father at all.
ਸੂਰਜ ਨਾਮ ਆਪਨੋ ਧਰਿਯਹੁ ॥
sooraj naam aapano dhariyahu |Keep your name Sun
ਮੋਹਿ ਬਿਯਾਹਿ ਲੈ ਧਾਮ ਸਿਧਰਿਯਹੁ ॥੯॥
mohi biyaeh lai dhaam sidhariyahu |9|And marry me and take me home. 9.
ਤਬ ਅਬਲਾ ਨਿਜੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਬੁਲਾਯੋ ॥
tab abalaa nij pitaa bulaayo |Then the woman called her father
ਪਕਰਿ ਬਾਹ ਤੇ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਦਿਖਾਯੋ ॥

ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਗ੍ਰਯਾ ਲੀਜਿਯੈ ਯਾ ਕੀ ਅਬੈ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
pratham pratigrayaa leejiyai yaa kee abai banaae |Get rid of it first now.
ਪੁਨਿ ਮੋ ਕੌ ਇਹ ਦੀਜਿਯੈ ਸੁਨੁ ਰਾਜਨ ਕੇ ਰਾਇ ॥੧੧॥
pun mo kau ih deejiyai sun raajan ke raae |11|Then O king of kings! Listen, then hand it over to me. 11.
ਜਬ ਲੌ ਇਹ ਇਹ ਘਰ ਰਹੈ ਚੜੈ ਨ ਸੂਰਜ ਅਕਾਸ ॥
jab lau ih ih ghar rahai charrai na sooraj akaas |As long as he stays in this house, the sun does not rise in the sky.
ਜਬ ਇਹ ਜਾਇ ਤਹਾ ਚੜੇ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਹੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ॥੧੨॥
jab ih jaae tahaa charre jag mai hoe prakaas |12|When it goes, (then) it ascends there and there is light in the world. 12.

ਸਤ੍ਯ ਬਾਤ ਰਾਜੈ ਇਹ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
satay baat raajai ih jaanee |The king accepted this as true.
ਭੇਦ ਨ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਕਛੂ ਅਗ੍ਯਾਨੀ ॥
bhed na lakhiyo kachhoo agayaanee |That ignorant person did not recognize the (real) difference.
ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰਿ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਇਕ ਪੜਿਯੋ ॥
raaj kumaar mantr ik parriyo |Raj Kumari recited a mantra
ਦ੍ਵੈ ਦਿਨ ਲਗੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਨਹਿ ਚੜਿਯੋ ॥੧੩॥
dvai din lage sooraj neh charriyo |13|And the sun did not rise for two days. 13.

ਮੰਤ੍ਰਨ ਸੋ ਅਭਿਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਿ ਬਰਿਯਾ ਦਈ ਉਡਾਇ ॥
mantran so abhimantr kar bariyaa dee uddaae |Batti (bullet) was fired at the temple with mantras
ਨਿਸੁ ਨਾਇਕ ਸੋ ਜਾਨਿਯੈ ਗਗਨ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਥਹਰਾਇ ॥੧੪॥
nis naaeik so jaaniyai gagan rahiyo thaharaae |14|And it seemed that the moon was shaking in the sky. 14.

ਜਬ ਰਾਜੇ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

ਸਤ੍ਯ ਸੂਰਜ ਕਰਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
satay sooraj kar taeh bichaariyo |So he really understood it very much.
ਤੁਰਤ ਬ੍ਯਾਹਿ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਤਿਹ ਦੀਨੀ ॥
turat bayaeh duhitaa tih deenee |He married his daughter immediately.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਨ ਚੀਨੀ ॥੧੫॥
bhed abhed kee baat na cheenee |15|Do not understand anything about difference. 15.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਪਚੀਸ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੨੫॥੪੨੮੯॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau pachees charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |225|4289|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 225th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 225.4289. goes on

ਮਾਲਨੇਰ ਕੇ ਦੇਸ ਮੈ ਮਾਲਕੌਸ ਪੁਰ ਗਾਉ ॥
maalaner ke des mai maalakauas pur gaau |In the country of Malner there was a village called Malkaus Pur.
ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹ ਇਕ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਬਸਤ ਸੁ ਤਵਨੈ ਠਾਉ ॥੧॥
maan saah ik chauadharee basat su tavanai tthaau |1|A Chaudhary named Man Shah lived in that place. 1.
ਰੁਸਤਮ ਦੇਈ ਤਵਨ ਕੀ ਰਹਤ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ ਨਾਰਿ ॥
rusatam deee tavan kee rahat sundaree naar |He had a beautiful wife named Rustam Dei
ਰੂਪ ਸੀਲ ਸੁਚਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਸੁਭ ਪਤਿ ਕੀ ਅਤਿ ਹਿਤਕਾਰ ॥੨॥
roop seel such kriaa subh pat kee at hitakaar |2|Who was auspicious in appearance, demeanor, purity and deeds and was very favorable to her husband. 2.
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਪਤਿ ਉਮਰਾਵ ਕੀ ਕਰਤ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਨਿਤਿ ॥
taa ko pat umaraav kee karat chaakaree nit |Her husband used to do Umrao's daily job
ਸਾਹਜਹਾ ਕੇ ਧਾਮ ਕੋ ਰਾਖੈ ਦਰਬੁ ਅਮਿਤਿ ॥੩॥
saahajahaa ke dhaam ko raakhai darab amit |3|And Amit Dhan of Shahjahan's house used to protect the wealth (means he was responsible for the treasurer). 3.
ਭਾਗ ਪਿਯਤ ਬਹੁ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਔਰ ਅਫੀਮ ਚੜਾਇ ॥
bhaag piyat bahu chauadharee aauar afeem charraae |Chowdhury smoked a lot of bhang and also took opium.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਘੂਮਤ ਰਹੈ ਲੋਗ ਹਸੈ ਬਹੁ ਆਇ ॥੪॥
aatth pahar ghoomat rahai log hasai bahu aae |4|He used to walk around for eight hours and many people used to come and laugh. 4.

ਲੋਕ ਸਕਲ ਮਿਲਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਖਾਨੈ ॥
lok sakal mil taeh bakhaanai |All the people used to talk about him together.
ਮੂਰਖ ਸਾਹ ਕਛੂ ਨਹਿ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
moorakh saah kachhoo neh jaanai |But (that) stupid Shah did not understand anything.
ਜੋ ਨਰ ਭਾਗ ਅਫੀਮ ਚੜਾਵੈ ॥
jo nar bhaag afeem charraavai |The person who used to offer bhang and opium
