ਔਰ ਰਾਨਿਯਨ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਬੁਲਾਵਈ ॥
aauar raaniyan kabahoon na nripat bulaavee |The king never called other queens
ਭੂਲਿ ਨ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਤਿਨ ਕੌ ਸਦਨ ਸੁਹਾਵਈ ॥
bhool na kabahoon tin kau sadan suhaavee |And even by forgetting, he never enhanced the beauty of their palace.
ਇਹ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਚਿਤ ਮਾਝ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਸਭ ਧਰੈ ॥
eih chintaa chit maajh chanchalaa sabh dharai |All queens used to worry about this.
ਹੋ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਅਰੁ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਰਾਵ ਸੌ ਸਭ ਕਰੈ ॥੨॥
ho jantr mantr ar tantr raav sau sabh karai |2|That's why all of them used to do tricks, mantras and tantras on the king. 2.

ek sakhee ih bhaat uchaaro |Then a Sakhi said thus,
ਸੁਨੁ ਰਾਨੀ ਤੈ ਬਚਨ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥੩॥
sun raanee tai bachan hamaaro |3|O Queen! You listen to my (one) word. 3.
ਜੌ ਉਨ ਸੌ ਮੈ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਤੁਰਾਊ ॥
jau un sau mai preet turaaoo |If I break the love (of the king) than him
ਤੌ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਕਹੁ ਮੈ ਕਾ ਪਾਊ ॥
tau tum te kahu mai kaa paaoo |So what will I get from you (ie what reward will I get).
ਬੀਰ ਕਲਹਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮੁਖ ਨ ਦਿਖਾਵੈ ॥
beer kaleh nrip mukh na dikhaavai |(I will show that) the king will not even show his face to Bir Kala
ਤੁਮਰੇ ਪਾਸਿ ਰੈਨਿ ਦਿਨ ਆਵੈ ॥੪॥

yau keh jaat tahaa te bhee |After saying this, she left
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬਰ ਕੇ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਮਹਿ ਗਈ ॥
nrip bar ke mandir meh gee |And reached the palace of the great king.
ਪਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕੇ ਕਾਨਨ ਮਹਿ ਪਰੀ ॥
pat triy ke kaanan meh paree |The husband and wife fell in love
ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਬਾਤ ਉਚਰੀ ॥੫॥
mukh te kachhoo na baat ucharee |5|And do not speak anything from the mouth. 5.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਤੋਹਿ ਕਾ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥
nrip triy kahiyo tohi kaa kahiyo |The king asked the queen what she told you.
ਸੁਨਿ ਪਤਿ ਬਚਨ ਮੋਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥
sun pat bachan mon hvai rahiyo |So the husband (king) became silent after hearing the words.
ਪਤਿ ਪੂਛ੍ਯੋ ਤੁਹਿ ਇਹ ਕਾ ਕਹੀ ॥
pat poochhayo tuhi ih kaa kahee |The husband asked (the queen) what did you say,
ਸੁਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਬਚਨ ਮੋਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹੀ ॥੬॥
sun triy bachan mon hvai rahee |6|Then the woman (queen) became silent after hearing the words. 6.
ਪਤਿ ਜਾਨ੍ਯੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਬਾਤ ਦੁਰਾਈ ॥
pat jaanayo triy baat duraaee |The husband understood that the woman has hidden (something).
ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਜਾਨ੍ਯੋ ਕਛੁ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਚੁਰਾਈ ॥
triy jaanayo kachh nripat churaaee |And the queen understood that the king had hidden something.
ਕੋਪ ਕਰਾ ਦੁਹੂੰਅਨ ਕੈ ਪਈ ॥
kop karaa duhoonan kai pee |The art of anger spread in the minds of both of them
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰੀਤ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਛੁਟਿ ਗਈ ॥੭॥
preet reet sabh hee chhutt gee |7|And all the custom of love was released. 7.
ਵਾ ਰਾਨੀ ਸੋ ਨੇਹ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥
vaa raanee so neh badtaayo |The king fell in love with that queen
ਜਿਨ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਨਾਯੋ ॥
jin charitr ih bhaat banaayo |Who played the character like this.
ਵਾ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰੀਤਿ ਉਪਜਾਈ ॥
vaa so preet reet upajaaee |(The king now) began to make love to her
ਬੀਰ ਕਲਾ ਚਿਤ ਤੇ ਬਿਸਰਾਈ ॥੮॥
beer kalaa chit te bisaraaee |8|And forgot the art of beer from the mind. 8.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਉਨਸਠਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੫੯॥੩੧੫੬॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau unasatthavo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |159|3156|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 159th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 159.3156. goes on

ਬਲਵੰਡ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਿਰਹੁਤਿ ਕੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬਰ ॥

ਜਨੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਦੂਸਰੋ ਤਮ ਹਰ ॥

ਅਮਿਤ ਰੂਪ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਅਤਿ ਸੋਹੈ ॥
amit roop taa ko at sohai |He was very beautiful
ਖਗ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਜਛ ਭੁਜੰਗਨ ਮੋਹੈ ॥੧॥
khag mrig jachh bhujangan mohai |1|From which birds, Mirga (wild animals), Yaksha and Bhujang were fascinated. 1.
ਰਾਨੀ ਸਾਠਿ ਸਦਨ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
raanee saatth sadan tih maahee |There were sixty queens in his palace.
ਰੂਪਵਤੀ ਤਿਨ ਸਮ ਕਹੂੰ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
roopavatee tin sam kahoon naahee |There were no other women as beautiful as her.
ਸਭਹਿਨ ਸੌ ਪਤਿ ਨੇਹ ਬਢਾਵਤ ॥
sabhahin sau pat neh badtaavat |The husband used to love everyone
ਬਾਰੀ ਬਾਰੀ ਕੇਲ ਕਮਾਵਤ ॥੨॥
baaree baaree kel kamaavat |2|And from time to time he used to do Ratikreda. 2.
ਰੁਕਮ ਕਲਾ ਰਾਨੀ ਰਸ ਭਰੀ ॥
rukam kalaa raanee ras bharee |Rukum Kala Rani was very interesting.
ਜੋਬਨ ਜੇਬ ਸਭਨ ਤਿਨ ਹਰੀ ॥
joban jeb sabhan tin haree |He had lost all his joban and image.
ਆਨ ਮੈਨ ਜਬ ਤਾਹਿ ਸੰਤਾਵੈ ॥
aan main jab taeh santaavai |When lust came and tormented him
ਪਠੈ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥੩॥
patthai sahacharee nripat bulaavai |3|So the maid would send and call the king. 3.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਕਲਾ ਇਕ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਪਠੈ ਦਈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਤੀਰ ॥
krisan kalaa ik sahacharee patthai dee nrip teer |A maid named Krisan Kala was sent to the king,
ਸੋ ਯਾ ਪਰ ਅਟਕਤ ਭਈ ਹਰਿਅਰਿ ਕਰੀ ਅਧੀਰ ॥੪॥
so yaa par attakat bhee hariar karee adheer |4|So she became infatuated with him (the king) who was made impatient by Kam Dev. 4.
